She was dealing damage fairly consistently so far, she noticed. Her dungeon run had left her with a number of wonderfully powerful cards, and some interesting abilities.

The Players who'd helped her though, woosh! The one called the0racle had torn through some of the creatures like they were just tissue paper! SCIENCE figured it probably had something to do with the ability cards 0racle had used, but she wondered if there was another job class above the second tier. That could also explain the large gap in their abilities.

SCIENCE decided that all she could do in this case was move forward and see if she could close the gap between them. Defeating this throne would be a good first step in the right direction! Not to mention the research opportunity!

She tightened her concentration on the mob.

Healing herself with one card, SCIENCE applied her luck card to perform a critical strike on the throne. More and more fractures were appearing on the mob, but it still lashed out at her every chance it could get!

Her luck seemed to be pretty good right now! SCIENCE had drawn another Luck card, and an even stronger Attack card. Combined, they did a devastating amount of damage to the creature!

And then her cards went critical! A luck card, and doubles? The resulting blow completely blew the throne apart.

SCIENCE was elated and a bit chagrined. She hadn't replicated Mimsy's use of a small chip to break the throne apart, but that damage had been much closer to what the0racle had put out!

SCIENCE crouched down beside the remnants, and wrote down her notes on the experiment, so she could at least share what she had learned with Mimsy. She also noticed something in the wreckage... a card!
