Character name: Tress J. Gervene
Link to journal AND/OR Quest Thread: Quest thread
Describe your character's personality in less than 30 words: Tress is logically (not socially) intelligent. She's over-critical, practical, conservative, fussy, and a control freak. Though (aside from her weapon) she's mostly a loner, she's also reliable and honest.
Does your character have a ship/ OTP? Over her dead body. Wait a minute...
Describe your character if they were a vegetable: I think she'd be a carrot. She's rigid and not very flexible. If you try to bend her rules, she will snap at you. Ironic that she wears glasses, though.
What is your character's favourite music/ song/ piece? 'Unbreakable' by Fireflight
What is your character's hobby, if they had spare time? I think she'd take up landscaping and trim hedges with her hedge-trimmer. Haha, either that or write love tragedies of the Victorian era.
Is your character more arts, science, or sports inclined? I think she'd be more sports-inclined, particularly in the direction of fighting styles like fencing (er, if that counts as a sport).
What type of personality traits does your character gravitate towards? She likes people who are neat, organized, and well-composed. She'd probably never agree, but I think she'd do well with someone more laid-back about things and perhaps with a sense of humor since she seriously lacks one.
What are your character's personality traits (Good ones?) Smart, diligent, meticulous, practical
What are your character's personality flaws? Control-freak, brutally honest, fussy, inconsiderate, over-critical of others
What is your character's favourite colour? Chartruse
Describe your character if they were in the opposite faction: Definitely a Horseman of the Death clan. She's a grim reaper, after all, and she knows when souls need to move on, especially when they've had a hard life and a bitter past.
What would your character look like as the opposite gender OR 10 years into the future? As the opposite gender, Tress would probably feel more comfortable in the suits she wears and wielding the hedge-trimmer as she does. She doesn't like appearing like some crazy yandere anime girl out to kill her ex-lover (even if that is vaguely appropriate considering her theme as a reaper). She has more dignity and pride than that.
If your character was an Amityville Professor/ Divison Leader/ Horsemen Clans lead how would they teach others? Through strict discipline and lots of tests! Lots and LOTS of tests! Strict adherence to the rules while attending class on time and turning in work by the due date would be very important to her teaching style and would show to her which students have the greatest potential.
Who does your character look up to? She looks up to the heads of the school (like the board members) for managing to keep so many different houses of students organized while managing to let them mingle, grow, and learn without them tearing each other apart, fighting, or generally falling into chaos.
What is a great weakness of your character? She's very socially awkward and doesn't know how to do the most simple things like initiate small talk.
What are their favourite foods? Tea and biscuits
Favourite fashion style? Victorian, though she leans towards male Victorian style clothing than female, which she finds stuffy and impractical.
Favourite minipet? Scents. She also likes death-related pets and heart-broken ones.
If your character was in a fantasy novel who would they be? Tress would be a wise, (possibly neutral) character to whom the main character comes to for aid and wisdom. She wouldn't do much to help, though, besides offer advice because she doesn't believe in doing others' work for them.
Describe your character as a mythical creature: A wraith, perhaps. Maybe a gorgon or a basilisk.
Describe your character as a Disney princess and/ or Villain Uhhh...I don't know if they count, but possibly Princess Mononoke or Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle. Hard to say if they even count as Disney princesses. Pocahontas is another good one.
If your character could travel anywhere where would they go? Uhhhh I think she'd like to travel to America and see how different things are there from England. She'd like to go to England too, though, of course.
If your character could confess one great secret what would they confess? ...I think she would confess that she refuses to fall in love because she's sick of all the suffering people endure for it.
