A park. Not much to say, except for its general circular shape with a fountain in the middle with plants in stone decorations around the edge of the cobblestones in a skirt around the fountain closer to the SouthEast edge with a slight stone dais in a partial circle in front of the West-to-East space in front of the fountain. This place was for concerts and other displays held in the park, with space for a goodly-sized group of people to sit in chairs that would be set up for such events.
Just North of the fountain and a touch more West is a covered pavilion with a central rock-and-brick space to hold a bonfire with metal grill work over the top. You can reserve and pay to have an open BBQ here, or just enjoy a late night fire with friends...although you still have to let authorities know so that precautions could be made. This is also where the nice restrooms are, in this covered space although there are no walls, just pillars, and there are a few benches outside to be in the sun and a few farther North although all events tend to be held in this half of the park so the majority of the built and maintained bits are here.
In the upper NorthEast space was a playground within a few blocks from the elementary/middle schools, and the rest of the space was open grass with trees here and there and a few frisbee-golf baskets, with the upper NorthNorthWest curve a darker forest that didn't take up as much ground heading South and petered out about a third of that quadrant away from the central West-East line. Kids occasionally got lost here, the forested space a few acres big but no more so they were usually found within a day.
The rest of the park is slightly hilly but gentle, a wide open space great for picnics or playing outside with family, the entire park taking up a few square miles with the 'squared' corners parking spaces and surrounded by a sidewalk with an asphalt walk around the edge of the circle for joggers. This 'ring' skirts the outside of the trees with a strip of grass between it and the 'forest', which is part of a greater stand of trees heading up the slight hill this way but has a fence inside that's the public limit of the 'forest' used for walking and observation of Nature with an information booth along the wooden-and-wire fence.
Enjoy, and stay safe~DON'T FORGET
-Clean up after your dogs- Don't leave a bunch of crap around, language and etc -This park is for everyone- Respect other people, and no hating. Fights may happen here, but keep OoC's civil -Please keep our park clean, living and green~!- Don't clutter with long OoC's if they're more than your post... ...or just don't go crazy with pictures and quotes to where they distract

William "Will" Vega Will was taking his lunch break with pleasure and was enjoying his walk through the park on a sunny afternoon. Other wizards seemed to zap here and there, but there was one thing that his parents taught him that he did listen. It was his break to stop and smell the roses. A smile graced his lips remembering him stopping only to turn to his sister and smell her. The wizards was so caught up in his thoughts that he tripped over something. He got lucky and fell forward on his arms. His eyes only inches from the grass. After stabilizing himself he got up and notice that the thing that he tripped on was a thing, but a someone. "Are you okay?" He asked the woman making sure he didn't cause harm.

Zuus ~ Necromancer, LibrarianKnowledge is everything, and can even transcend death as we learn from those in the great Pasts. It was Spring in the town. It wasn't her favorite season, but the woman who had sat down on a quilt under a tree to the southwest of the fountain didn't have anything against it either. Leaning against the trunk of the tree behind her without seeming to worry about any splinters in her squishy-looking black turtleneck over the top of the simple form-fitting black jeans pulled over nice but simple heels of fashionable boots. She opened up one of a small stack of books, and set herself to reading. She had been toning out her surroundings as even though most of the people were in the sunny northeast part of the park by the play set and swings, there were still those with dogs or some runners on this side of the park. So the trip over her outstretched legs was a sharp jolt waking her back up to reality. Ignoring his genial question and the dropped glasses that had been hanging loosely from her lips, the woman muttered something under her breath. Odd blue-streaked black hair down as she carefully searched the quilt for a dropped contact, he might notice her long pointed ears although any humans without Sight would see normal ones...although that Glamour someone had to give her could only do so much and they still tended to look a bit pointed. But this only worked on humans with a disbelief of the supernatural, not on other supernaturals or believing humans aware of the existence of the supernatural. I'm fine... she muttered, leaning back on her heels and squinting an eye closed as she looked at the contact covered in fluff with a deep blue eye. Glancing up at the man, the slightly snubbed nose twitched and she blinked open her other eye in surprise. One eye blue and the other a VERY pale lilac, she shrugged and ducked her head down; it was dark enough that her lapse wouldn't be confirmed by a normal human. And she could always explain it away. But it would probably confirm that she wasn't human...as if her ears weren't a dead giveaway. I do not fear Death, as I have seen his work.

William "Will" Vega Will looked at the woman. He was a bit shy on the inside and was careful where he put his eyes. He looked at the woman's face as he adjust his glasses. He could see her ears and it was clear that she wasn't a normal human. "Your ears are beautiful. So long and slender." He said so she was aware that he wasn't just any human. William bowed. "Forgive me for my mistakes. I am William Vega, you may have heard of my aunt the famed Yvonne Vega, head of the Vega family." He said trying to be as polite as possible.

Zuus ~ Necromancer, LibrarianKnowledge is everything, and can even transcend death as we learn from those in the great Pasts. The young woman couldn't help a slight cheek twitch as this man mentioned her ears. The mismatched eyes flicked around to make sure no one was too terribly close, and she sighed quietly while rubbing the tip of a multi-pierced ear. That's...one of the nicest things I've heard. In a while. Shaking her head slightly, the young woman couldn't hold back the slightest expression of amusement. No need to be formal. Not at the PARK for Baera'ak's sake... She nodded back to him in recognition of his introduction, placing the glasses on her nose. Zuus... Tilting her head, she gave William a curious expression. Yvonne Vega...Yvonne Vega... she said, sounding puzzled as if it sounded familiar. Oh...! she snapped her fingers with a slight 'aha' expression. Is this the Yvonne "StormMaster" Vega reported to have taken the energy from a storm to seal away the demon raised by Go'olnuum the Flamebeard, into what is now called Mount St. Helens? And how at his death the remaining control he had on it broke and the residual magical energy is what resulted in its blowing? By the records, so much energy is how she had been aged, but that today she still remains a strong and beautiful woman and has hair whiter than snow that flows to the ground like silk. The young woman tilted her head to the side, aware that technically ANY records from that time had been destroyed from the residual energies associated with some authors bursting and destroying many works. And also that Go'olnuum...part goblin...had supposedly been Yvonne's lover as well as student and so they didn't want that going around. Or am I mistaken? Zuus tilted her head the other way, looking at William with an oddly intense stare as she waited for his answer. The effect was most likely more disconcerting coming from one deep blue eye and one palest lilac eye over her glasses giving her expression a rather stern effect. She blinked once, only to turn her head and lean back with the book over her face, looking asleep, as a jogger came by within hearing distance a few seconds after she had laid back...those ears weren't just for show, although they couldn't detect too terribly much more than a human who paid attention with focus to their surroundings. I do not fear Death, as I have seen his work.

William "Will" Vega William nearly had a laughing fit as the woman told a story about who his aunt may have been. He had to bit his lip to keep the chuckle in and he almost let it out a few times. "You make my aunt sound way more epic then she really is." He answered her question about if that was his aunt. "My aunt is powerful and beautiful, not legendary. She works on the Wizard council that regulates the wizard community and the veil upkeep." He answered with a grin. William took note that she hide herself when a regular person walked by. He wondered if by talking to her caused her to be worried about other people seeing her. "Don't worry too much. I'm sure they can't see your ears." He told her gently. He pretty sure about it.

Zuus ~ Necromancer, LibrarianKnowledge is everything, and can even transcend death as we learn from those in the great Pasts. It's...not that. I can't hide my eyes, and I don't have my eye kit with me to clean my contact. She scowled. Why was she being this open? Oh yeah, it was polite. And she was bored. The Library was going under renovations, some remodeling and expansion. So there was nothing for her to do for almost the whole month. Maybe not, but this was supposed to be during a time locked up. Most of the records were destroyed. I think only one survived to this Time and day. And I'm still translating it. Zuus rubbed at her forehead, eyes closed behind her glasses. Muttering to herself she went ahead and removed the other contact, rubbing at her sore eyes; they still weren't used to the contacts. Pale lilac eyes blinked at Will over the top of her reading glasses. I'm not worried about my appearance. It's just a habit to not talk about certain things with people around. Shrugging, Zuus scooted to the side so Will didn't have to stay standing, and leaned against the tree again with her gaze on her book. She may not seem legendary to you, but that could easily be due to constant exposure. She IS the StormMaster after all...and even other Wizards recognize her enough to have her sit in Council. If she's as old as the record implies, then this is before she had a family...and to people of that time, such power could have been extraordinary. The young woman didn't seem to be overly awed or anything, despite her reiteration of a common tale. Well, common to the time of the beaten journal she was deciphering and to some extent restoring. It's also well-known that by today's standards the demon wasn't a great one, but I was just repeating what I had read.Zuus shrugged, content to keep reading her book. She was used to tuning out unwanted noise and distraction. Not a very good trait, but she hadn't traveled for quite some time so she wasn't too terribly worried about it. A purple ball zipped towards them from the direction of the forest, yelling something and passing several people without causing too much of a ruckus. Zuus sighed and shook her head but didn't look up from her book as the shadow chasing the ball sliding across the ground using any shadow it could stretched and 'snapped' into her shadow to rise as a vaguely humanoid shape. But without any specific head, and no face aside from a manic grin with razor teeth and clawed hands. The 'ball'...upon closer inspection a sort of 'fire' but a spirit...spun around Zuus' head continuing to yammer out freaked out warnings. Zuuuus, Zuus Zuus Chryn's trying to eat me again!! the ball panicked with a light and unexceptional male voice. He seemed to 'look', realizing the shadow was rising up the tree from Zuus' own, and he squeaked and gibbered more backing up and almost seeming to 'trip' as he bobbed down and dodged someone chasing their dog. The animal whined and side-stepped away and its owner glared at the seemingly oblivious Zuus...but a sharp snap of fingers and the grown shadow well over seven feet by now growled. The dog yipped and ran off with tail tucked, the shadow emanating a hungry fear. You both know the Rules...do NOT disturb me while I'm reading she stated coldly, the pale lilac eyes a stronger gleam under the shadow of her colored bangs as her aura chilled. The shadow shrunk down to be about the size of a young child, the shadow claws crawling and spreading long her arm as if it was creeping around her. A delicate hand whipped out to smack the claws. Knock it off, or I'm sticking you in the Zephyr crystal again. Eerie, so pale she looked blind, lilac eyes finally moved from her book to stare silently at the shadow. She was unaffected by the fear, that while intense in this realm...the Material...it only affected those of weak will or those not expecting it. So odds were Will might feel some apprehension...but not much else, since his work with Magic would require discipline. The shadow growled, opening its mouth wide, more than plenty to swallow Zuus whole as it 'devoured' her...she didn't even blink, just going back to her book as the shadow faded out and disappeared. She rolled her eyes, gesturing for the 'fireball' spirit to come back where he was out in the sun trembling. I told you to leave me be for a few hours. How much is that to ask? You KNOW Chryn likes messing with you, why give him that opportunity? she demanded of him, perhaps seeming harsh to what had been going on. But with the icy aura and fear, animals reacting to her presence, there were very few things Zuus could be. Casual interaction with spirits shortened that list, and as she could TOUCH them...she was a necromancer, one of the rarer Blooded kinds. It wasn't that she put her Arcane...general Magic...power to the practice. She was born with it, a 'rarer' Race as a family line running heavily to death had become so concentrated that even other races marrying and copulating inside of it tended to have the ability until EVERY child was a Necromancer. And so they were their own race, this large family with constant new blood added to avoid inbreeding. And even so, there were different branches and strengths of Necromancer, with their own ceremonies and personal oddities. She worked with spirits, deemed 'better' than raising bodies, and could touch them; highly unusual even among Soul Draeths...what the spirit-based necromancers called themselves. Not rare or unheard of...but definitely uncommon. I do not fear Death, as I have seen his work.

William "Will" Vega William looked into her eyes after she took off her contacts. He was more glancing at the difference in color. "You're eyes are beautiful." He commented taking in the detail in her eyes, but as Zuus talked about who she thought was hsi aunt, a frowned came to his face. It seemed that Zuus didn't understand that he wasn't related to this woman that she thought he was related to. "This 'StormMaster' is not my aunt." He told her gently as he looked into her eyes. He was a calm person and was hard to get him upset about things. "My aunt is mortal with purple hair. She's loud and has her own family." William moved over to the spot that she made room for him. It would a good place to have his afternoon meal. "My aunt had a lover, but she now has a child, he's a little older than me." he informed her so she now knew that he was not the nephew of the person she thought of. William pulled out his lunch and started to eat it. His eyes started to watch the show that was playing before them. The purple light zoned by. He was careful about his movements. If there was someone who wasn't magical around then they would find him odd and he didn't need to be questioned about his mental state by some police officer. Then came the shadow. The man tensed up. Wizards had to be careful about things like that. It was not a terrible pun when someone said it was because of a witch hunt. Anyone found possessing dark objects and creatures could be hunted down as a dark Wizard by their peers. Will's eyes darted to the woman as she spoke. It seem these were her familiars and she was in control. He was comforted by the fact that she was in control, but not by the thought she could still pin things on him and get him in trouble. ((It's fine. I need to work on making longer post))

Zuus ~ Necromancer, LibrarianKnowledge is everything, and can even transcend death as we learn from those in the great Pasts. Zuus shrugged. She wasn't entirely convinced, but she knew that even though her work was secrets and the understanding of them while keeping them safe from the majority of the world...her experience with different Time streams found within the Wizard College's Library gave her quite a bit of practice...that it didn't mean that Yvonne DID keep that part of her past a secret. The young woman knew that she could have the wrong person...but she found it highly unlikely. Thanks...and if you say so. Zuus shrugged again, sounding uncertain how to deal with the compliments. Sure, she was lithe and slender like a dancer, while still having curves...but it was still odd to her to have people comment on her appearance. It just was what it was. Aware of his tension, nonetheless Zuus didn't comment on Will's reactions. However, fingers tapping the hardcover of the book she was reading...Dante's Inferno...she glanced over at him for a second before returning to her reading. Chryn is no real threat to you, at this point. However, should you enter the Zephyr he could grab you. And now that he's seen you around me, should you enter a Void he may target you. Not a threat, a warning. She was calm, composed, stating simple facts without seeming to be regretful at the danger that she could be said to have put him in just for being around him. It all really depends if I'm in another Void as well at the same time, and how annoyed or hungry he is. He's ALWAYS 'hungry', but sometimes he's not too terribly much of a nuisance. This was meant to be reassuring, but Zuus just kept reading and her bland tone may not have helped, especially since she wasn't used to dealing with people. I do not fear Death, as I have seen his work.

William "Will" Vega William wasn't sure if he was the one mistaken now or if it was Zuus. He was sure that the woman wasn't his aunt. His father never talked about any grand things they did together, his father and aunt were clearly siblings too and they were only a few years apart. On top of that Will had seen pictures of his aunt while pregnant, but never any image of her lover. He then stopped his thoughts as she talked about the creature. He wasn't too worried about it. He probably would never go to the void like he would other places. The man looked down at the food that he just finished off and thought about going back to work. The man got off the ground and smiled at the woman. "Excuse me I have to return to work now. Have a wonderful day."

Zuus ~ Necromancer, LibrarianKnowledge is everything, and can even transcend death as we learn from those in the great Pasts. Blinking, Zuus was surprised enough she looked up from her book at William. Granted, he was an adult so probably worked, even though he was a wizard and the majority population of this town was human but it still caught her curiosity that a wizard would be working. Where do you work? Well...if that's not too much to ask she added belatedly, seeming a touch nonplussed or something due to being aware of socially acceptable questions and situations. Just not when they always apply, as she had studied a few different centuries' worth of manners, to know how to deal with older spirits and people. However, she wasn't quite caught up on the standards of today...aside from feeling there WEREN'T any...so Zuus preferred to err on the side of caution. It's not likely that I will have a good day, as such may generally be considered, but thank you. I still have work to do, even if they're remodeling my day location of employment. Sighing quietly with a pert expression of agitation as if such remodeling was a major inconvenience, Zuus returned to reading her book. It may seem like she wasn't paying attention, or even waiting for answers to questions, but it was just she was so used to taking in information from around her and cataloging it all separately in her mind, that Zuus tended to start doing things without 'finishing' previous assignments. Yet got things done to satisfactory quality. Multitasking, to the EXTREME, and able to categorize and ignore multiple sources of stimuli was required by her primary job of working at the Library. She only volunteered at the human one, although as part of her REAL job she watched over the Midnight Archives located underneath it, supernatural books and journals free to be accessed by the supernatural community. But the main Library still wanted to have a 'hold' on this 'living', written knowledge, so as the Librarian to that sentient place, Zuus had to move between the two, so supernaturals didn't get eaten in the Midnight Archives, like students did on occasion in the College's living, trans-dimensional Library. It was sentient, but not thinking, although rather 'playful', alive from all the magical energy stored in the writings and absorbed from latent and extra Magic collected in that one spot from the College. So many interesting Spaces, five years active Librarian not NEARLY enough to barely scratch the surface of the secrets she was used to keeping. I do not fear Death, as I have seen his work.

William "Will" Vega William brushed off the dirt from his clothes when Zuus asked him where he work. The man pushed up his classes before answering. "My father is a school teacher, but he only teaches student of the magical sort, he owns a small school not far from here and I teach classes too. It's a family ran business. I have a few cousins that work with us." He answered with a smile He then pointed to a tall eerie building on the far side of the park . "Beautiful isn't it." He said before leaning down and picking up his trash and walking over to a garbage can. He then laughed when she talked about not having a good day. "Well if you need some place save to hang out then I would recommend the school. They have options of sitting in on classes and going to the library for guest. We're always looking for people who want to learn." He suggest before he started to walk back to work.

Zuus ~ Necromancer, LibrarianKnowledge is everything, and can even transcend death as we learn from those in the great Pasts. Maybe I will, then... she replied, lips twitching in amusement as the fireball came up to her again after Will said his goodbye and turned to leave. The fireball looked between them as Zuus returned to her book, but wisely stayed silent. Although she could feel his curiosity. Finishing the chapter she was on, the young woman sighed and stretched, covering a yawn with a sheepish flush of slight embarrassment to her pale cheeks. Standing, she cleared up the quilt and shook it out, folding it. She looked absent-mindedly to the building he had pointed out. He thinks that's eerie? It's not all that creepy. Better than a building made out of living parts... she muttered, the fireball shuddering in memory. Tilting her head, debating never going just because he seemed rich and well-off...having a thing against Old Blood money people due to the brats that tended to come through the Wizard College...and weighing it against William's manners, Zuus finally shrugged and started off that way. First, to drop off Mr. Dante before people freaked out that he was missing, even though the books had been stored for the remodeling; the library was small enough that it was easier to unshelve and replace all the books than leave some available while the noise inconvenienced everyone. Not that people couldn't still check out books, but most were content to wait until the library was done and expanded if they wanted to turn pages instead of scour the internet. I can't wait until they're done. It doesn't let me sleep much, but at least the remodeling being done lets me get back to work without disturbing anyone... Zuus muttered, thinking primarily of the Midnight Archives but her statement applied to the main library as well. Waving in slight acknowledgement of faces she recognized and who apparently remembered her and called out hellos, Zuus head towards the building William had pointed to. Private tutoring for magical children. That had to be interesting. Wonder if they have to explain away explosions or odd smells. Shaking her head, Zuus went ahead and showed up, ignoring startled looks to her ears and eyes as she waltzed confidently right in and head unerringly to the library. It was an odd 'sense' of her...after developing the instinct to survive in a sentient space that 'plays' by driving people insane and losing them through different Times and Places, filled with knowledge that literally lived, she seemed to have a sort of sixth sense to the power of the written word. Someone who had been about to ask her her business just kind of trailed off as Zuus head straight that way as if knowing where to go, even though no one had EVER seen her before. They'd have recognized her hair and strange eyes, with those ears. I do not fear Death, as I have seen his work.

With a dark umbrella in hand she waits Or maybe... She doesn't exist anymore...
Her dress fluttered in wind graciously given to her by the park in place around her. As Yumi gazed into the shimmering water of the park she contemplated whether or not this was all a waste of time. Her only real encounter with mythical creatures was...then. Would he even be here? Would anyone here know him? She looked down into the blue and abashed her own mind at the thought. If all of the magical worlds just showed themselves...she would look through each and every one of them for him. She had blood lust for a certain vamp... She sighed her thoughts away before sitting down softly on the edge of the fountain and laying a calm ivory hand to it's ruffled edges.
In her other hand was a staff that followed would lead to her umbrella. Within it's folds her skin was safe from the suns ravages and in the dark she hid... Her calm breath melded with the even calmer serenity of the situation and she even contemplated the beautiful act of ending her life right there. 'What would that help?' She thought of one day crossing into the godly light that awaited her, sinking into it's splendor and being one with her brother again. "I've lost you Yoda...in more ways than one...but one day I'll see you again." She looked into the water as she said this, the reflection eerily reminding her of her past through the use of her reflection. In it she saw his eyes, his nose, everything about him was just like her... and in a flash she remembered his face when he died and she splashed the water away and stood. She looked back towards the innocent fountain and sifted through her dress to find a silver dollar which she through beneath the calm waves. She put a clutched to her chest and preyed...maybe their was something somewhere that would hear her. She had visited the fountain and now desired a lead she couldn't find. "I hear a psychic has moved in the city...maybe I do have a place to go today." She put the rod of her umbrella on her shoulder and basked in the shade it offered before carefully walking on her way.

It was nearing evening when Morgan entered the park and sat down at a bench, leaning against her sheathed saber sword. The scene was quieting down and people were starting to leave for home. It was perfect for the Mistress of the Sabertooth Militia. Here she could conduct business and plan her next move. Based on her intel, Saber's sworn enemy, Noah Caspar was somewhere in Janhall. Where exactly was unconfirmed. It would not take long, though. If the red rat was living he was bound to pop up sooner or later and Sebra was a patient woman. She had the time and money necessary for this venture of vengeance. Before leaving for Janhall, Sebra had order her gang to stay back. Noah was her prey. The Sabercats, as her member were called, protested until their leader comprised a deal. A select few would be with her in Janhall, spying all around and looking any sign of Noah. To even this moment, the leader was awaiting the call from one of her underling to let her know that her nemesis had been spotted. Until then, it was her time to ponder and think of just how she would make Noah Caspar pay for his crimes. Yuri Misawa (If you want to jump in anywhere.)
