Most pages or posts, or I would say most active RP or a poll. For the RP I mean our rooms for the ball of course.

Maybe in each thread we can have a poll, and people vote in the thread they like best?

Actually, I don't know if you guys have looked at the plot recently, but we're no longer measuring popularity after some issues that Robayn brought up that Pinkie and I kinda looked over. You see, if we measure popularity, then things could go very wrong, tension will happen, and nobody will be happy. So, instead, we're going to measure Inspiration. So I really don't think we should be having the guests vote on which thread they like the best. It's not fair to us and it's not fair to them. It would be World War III out there. And if the theme voting is any hint, who even knows if people will be honest when voting? Because we're measuring Inspiration, I don't think any scientific method is really going to work to measure it. I've seen short things inspire me and I've seen long things inspire me. Again, I'm not a huge fan of polls because of the potential drama and we're gonna be stressing enough during the weekend without having to deal with politics. I mean, we could always do a cheesy "EVERYBODY WINS" ending, but that's lame. I mean seriously. OR. We can be sneaky. You see, we could break the fourth wall a bit. The next celebration would be the 13th Annual Ball. It could be a nice way of luring people into the next planning guild. That's just a thought though. I mean, I'm one of the main hosts this year and last year I ended up mostly behind the scenes because of stuff. So if we go that way, well, it kinda makes things unfair for people like that. Of course, host choice is always going to be up to the most recent host and then they get to choose their secondary.

Or should I start thinking out of the Lucky Box?

But what exactly do you mean next years celebration.

Not sure. We should all talk about that. xD Aww. Colds suck! Anyways, the fourth wall is more of a literary thing that happens sometimes. If done well, it's amazing. Like, if you've ever seen Spamalot, the part where they find the Holy Grail totally shatters the fourth wall. The fourth wall is the boundary between a fictional work and the audience. In our case, it's the boundary between the Zodiac Party and the users. I'm not sure if it's worded next year's celebration, but the Zodiacs are competing to host the next Zodiac party since Aquarius and Sagittarius won it last time. I was thinking that since we, as roleplayers are artists, we should be able to inspire our audience. So, if we can get people to come into the next planning guild because of the plot and nominate the next ball host, it would be really cool. Or maybe not fair, cause a character might not be inspiring, but that's all in how you play them really (*pokes her ex-murderer, turned friendly-ish vampire*).

Yeah they do and I think I understand but a bit complicated, hope it works and everyone likes the plan. If its good it could work well.

It's a good idea, though I think it could get complicated. I would suggest deciding before hand since it is for the story and it won't actually affect the room staff if they win or not (like we don't have actual prizes and the room that wins won't necessarily be the hosts for next year) OR if you guys want to nominate a new main host BEFORE the ball and you come to a decision then you could decide that that person's room is the one that wins. Since it's part of the conclusion I don't think it would affect the planning of the rest of the ball if the "winner" was decided later. The rest of the plot would still be intact.

I agree with Robayn, since I know many of the hardest working ballgoers sometimes work behind the scenes. And besides, I have a feeling if we open up the nominations, a lot of people are just going to nominate this year's main hosts again. xD
Or maybe we can do some sort of ball-wide contest, a thread where guests can go to RNG or something, and the winner of the RNG gets a gold prize+the honour of choosing the "winning room"? That way it's pretty fair, and no one can get upset because the winner of the RNG fairly got the choosing rights??

What about nominating this year's main host again. I love this position very much, but no thank you. I can see why people do this only one year, haha!
I like the idea of having next year's main host win. Or maybe whatever Zodiac that is going on the day we hold the ball wins! That could be interesting too. The RNG is a really interesting idea, to get the guests involved.
Really, whoever the winner is doesn't really matter. They'd get a big feature in the end plot, but by that time, a lot of the ball will have settled down.
