WELCOME TO THE 5 DAY DRABBLE CHALLENGE! In the honour of the "30 day challenges" I've been seeing on the interewebs, TiH is doing a 5 day drabble challenge. This is a writing exercise and something to do for your character for fun and just a great way for you to learn more about your character! What you write about your character should remain IC to the TiH setting/ what is currently going on with that character!

gaia_crown [ How Does it Work! ]
Step 1:
- Pick out a TiH character you own for this exercise. If you do not own a TiH character you may use a QUEST character. Only QUEST or ENROLLED (existing) characters please!
Step 2:
- Once you have done so, fill out the CHALLENGE FORM on Post 2 for your character below (see form). You will make a NEW THREAD in this subforum. Title it [ DRABBLE CHALLENGE ][ CHARACTER NAME HERE ]. If you're feeling super adventurous you can make multiple challenges for each character, but you need to make a new thread for each character!
STEP 3:
- ONCE EVERY DAY, choose ONE THEME from the DRABBLE CHALLENGES LIST on post 3. You can pick any theme you have not picked the previous day. Write a small passage about it! Think of it as a very, very short solo, anywhere from 200 words + WHATEVER you feel comfortable with. Write it for that character! You are writing it "drabble" style which means pretty much a stream of consciousness, whatever comes to mind for that character. As it is experimental, you can write it in first person, second, or third person! The only requirement is whatever you write must somehow incorporate the THEME.
Examples of things you can write about:
- Dialogue/ talks with weapons/ familiars whatnot
- Interaction with objects/ doing homework/ playing with minipets/ solo training/ doing a sport or activity/ playing music, etc etc
- Past things that happened/ past solo
- Future speculation
- Existing self reflection
- Internal monologing
- Thoughts about current conflicts
- The nature or theme of your character's daily event
- Some sort of happening gone wrong
- It is a solo YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT JUST keep it IC to your character's setting, current situation, and personality.
EXAMPLE: DAY 1 POST THEME IS ADVENTURE Bob didn't quite like adventure. It wasn't the sort of thing he or Sue actively pursued, he'd rather stay at home, read a good book, things of that sort and nature. Heroes were better confined to when his eyes got tired, and conflicts were easier other people's problems. It was just a pity there was someone else out there reading books about him.
STEP 4: Come back again the next day and do this again! You are making one drabble post per day for FIVE days. If you skip a day don't worry! You can do two the next day or just pick out one you want to do the next day. This is just for YOU so don't even care what anyone else thinks! Once again you can make it AS LONG AS YOU WANT but it's a good chance for you to explore something about your character!
- You are indeed WELCOME to write two, three drabbles a day really. We have no limit. It's however you want to pick!
STEP 5:
ON DAY FIVE (MARCH 8th 2014), write your LAST drabble, and then post HERE. If you have completed at least 4 drabbles, please POST THE RAFFLE FORM on post 4. This will make you eligible for some cute prizes!
- If you have posted at least 4 drabbles you get +2 rp points to use as you please! (Non quest chars only)
- Once again this is just for YOU so please do what YOU want and have fun!
5 DAY DRABBLE CHALLENGE PRIZES! All participants who have posted at least 4 drabbles or more and use the RAFFLE FORM on post 4 to drop off their form ( please post your drop off form starting from FRIDAY ONLY PLEASE, don't do it today!) will get a chance to win some cute minipets!
