Sam sighed. He hated being alone. Over the moons, he'd grown used to the company of his boy, and his... Levi. So the fact that they were both gone now, off to who knows where, left him feeling... Pitifully empty. He still had Azure, Ruei, and his clan at his side, but somehow... It just wasn't enough. He wanted his family. Azure was almost an accurate substitute for Oblivion, when Sam had his eyes closed, of course, but when the sun was shining and he couldn't fester in his cave anymore, out he went. he didn't know where or why yet, but... He tipped his head as a brown splodge approached through the sky. It was still a long way off, but it seemed like just a set of clothes flying against the sky... Whatever it was was either invisible, or had sky-colored skin...

Sam beamed. "Kadryn!" He called, waving like a doofus in his excitement to see someone familiar.

A borgnah? Sam had already tried to capture many a creature before, but never... a borgnah. He didn't really much care for the more insect-like creatures... His fluffy, feather companion Azure the vlidean should've been enough to show that... Kadryn was a strange woman, indeed. But he didn't want to be left behind, and if she could show him how to improve his taming methods, so he didn't spend so much time on each creature... "I'm in." He replied with a grin.

Sam flew along at Kadryn's side, listening intently. He knew next to nothing about these hairy beasts, since they weren't one of the few creatures he'd ever attempted to capture before. Honestly, he was a bit surprised that anyone was interested capturing them at all, being only ugly, hairy beasts, in his opinion. But whatever. As the approached where the Orderite admitted to capturing one before, Sam landed along the ground. "You said they have tunnel lairs... Underground? Maybe I'll be able to sense one moving about down there if we get close enough to one..."

Sam's emerald orbs practically sparkled. Someone else asking him to use his magical prowess to help them capture a creature? Oh yeah. Sam could do that. After all, that was how he'd managed to capture Azure. Surely it would work out just as well for an eight-legged arachnoid creature. "I'll give it my best." Sam replied as he headed after her. So, borgnahs, huh? He wondered what the earth even felt like with that creature tunneling through it. It wasn't exactly a small beast, so maybe he should just... feel around for something big and moving...? Yeah, that seemed sound. He took slow steps forward, sending his magic out in waves around him, just sensing, not touching or disturbing. From what he could tell, there were a scant amount of creatures scurrying about today. But they were small and definitely not eight-legged.

He moved on, until there was... a gap in his senses. A gap? Underground? Had to be a tunnel. A big one. If he followed it, maybe there'd be a borgnah at the end! "Kadryn, let's head this way." Sam advised, starting off at a run whether she was following or not. He had to stay on the ground, which meant he couldn't use the speed of flight, but... He was getting better with his two-legged... legs.

It wasn't long before there was a rustling across his magic. A burrowing, more or less. Not too far off the surface, either, so he should be able to capture it without much difficulty! When they drew as close as he dared, he reached out with his earthen abilities, tamping down the area around and over top the creature to prevent it from digging any further. With only a bit of work, he forced it to the surface.

Sam tipped his head as the blue woman produced some kind of... snack from her pack. It almost looked like... cookies? He hadn't known borgnahs enjoyed sweets. He leaned a bit closer, just close enough for it to be almost awkward as he inhaled, trying to capture the strange treat's scent. He couldn't help but grimace and recoil. It didn't smell like any cookie he'd eat, but then... He wasn't a borgnah.

He sent Kadryn a skeptical look. "Well, I hope so..." He admitted uncertainly, even if he thought this particular borgnah looked awful. And quite vile to boot. Still, the knowledge of how to tame one may come in handy some day... Although he hoped it wouldn't.

Sam blinked. The cookies... were a planned thing? Treats meant to calm down a creature you were trying to catch? He thought of his spunky Vlidean and wondered if they worked on all creatures... Maybe he'd have to look for such a recipe himself, so that next time he spotted something he'd kind of like to keep, it would go a bit more smoothly.

He turned his attention down to where Kadryn crouched near the enclosure."If it's all the same to you, I'd rather hunt." The Gaili admitted. "You can stay and... bond with it, or something." He shrugged.
