Jet black hair with his bangs covering most of his large eyes...
He wears a pale blue tunic under a dark gray patterned vest. No hat, dislikes how they feel around his horns. Dark gray harem pants match his vest (pattern is up to Colorist), black short heeled boots. He wears a mutli-pouch belt which he usually can be seen scrambling around the pouches for a random item. He also, when it gets cold dons a long cloak. Its reversible with the outside being black while the inside is a rich blue...

CloakPersonality: I am going to be kind when I say he's a scardy cat....seriously. Hatchet is nearly scared of anything which makes a sudden movement or really really loud noise. He has a habit of reciting things to himself at least three times, after that its imprinted on his memory and he rarely forgets things. Being raised in a primarily fighter sort of family allows him to not be as afraid of battle as his nerves suggest. He's timid and nervous about meeting new people, usually bolting if they manage to sneak up behind him. This reaction is due largely in part to his childhood and some of his more...vivid memories.
He's an absolute klutz, but oddly enough it translates well in his fighting style. Just watch him try to walk down the road without a few stumbles. He's also really sensitive so, watch what you say...then again he's dense so chances are he won't get the insult right away. He's loyal however, like a puppy almost. If he finds someone he thinks he can trust he'll follow them no matter where they go. Be careful if he does fall in love, he puts his all into it and if his heart is broken...chances are he may not be able to recover fully.
He has a really long temper fuse, which is good when coupled with his density and sensitivity aspects. This fuse however gives one the stacking power they need to get him really going...and once he finally loses it. Duck. The final straw for his temper would be if you cornered him then once triggered, he would fly into a berserker's rage which only stops at the sight of blood. He does have a daydreamer mindset most of the time, something which gives others the illusion that he's more refined than he actually is.
But, for all that he's Passive, Dense, a Day-Dreamer, has Good Memory, Loyal, Faithful, a Romantic and Fair Tempered (even if its Explosive when triggered). He has a good heart and soul, he would be a good ally for those who need it.
Biography/Background:He was raised in the Celestial Plane and then brought to Serenia. Born to a Peisio Mother and a Aiskala Father makes for an interesting batch of siblings. Nehelini was raised as the youngest, in a large family of 9 children, his parents were fair minded and tried to give each child attention. Nehelini was mainly raised by the eldest of the children, Baruin as were the others as the parents both were battlers, who constantly were called out to fight. A running saying among their family and friends were that each battle won was a child earned. Something the eldest of the 9 offspring didn't doubt for a minute. Nehelini always was a curios child, something Baruin encouraged but made sure the youngest sibling was near him. Nehelini's parents always were around when it truly counted for the children, that was all that mattered. The 9 offspring watched their beloved parents leave for a small battle, Baruin mentally praying he wouldn't have yet another sibling to look after. But, then again Nehelini was tired of being the youngest.
Sadly, one day the children spent a entire week waiting for their parents to return. Baruin grew worried and then the worse news ever came back to them...their mother was slain and their father had gone missing. The children grieved, but the worse was yet to come. Their Grandparents on either side of their Parents Clans wished for the younglings to be raised by Elders who could support them. The period of time it took for the two sets of Grandparents to decide what child went where was the
fun part...Baruin escorted each child to a different family member, as per the Grandparents directions to ensure the children would vary in skills. Before starting the journey to escort Nehelini to their Father's Elder Brother: Jaxruis. Their Uncle lived somewhere in the Forests of Aurinead due to a combination of family issues and the male's own love of an Orderite male. It was Baruin who suggested Nehelini go to the male as Jaxruis was the only other Aiskala within the Clan. Baruin knew that Nehelini had already expressed his hopes to become an Aiskala, like their Father. Upon their first, tramtic, meeting Nehelini would forever slip up and call their Unlce "Papa" as the male is their Father's Elder Twin.
Sadly on the way the two siblings were attacked by Khehora, Nehelini was taken and Baruin was horribly hurt. But, all was not lost...their Uncle was nearby and saved the two. Baruin would never be able to see again, but Nehelini was mentally scarred. Baruin was never meant to stay with a Clansmen. The male was forced to stay with Nehelini and thier Uncle as per Jaxruis demands. Being blind and alone was something Jaxruis didn't want the youth to go through. The two siblings were then taken in by their Uncle, who was a traveler by nature. Exposing young Nehelini to all races of Madesc. The child became what he is today.
An interesting side note would be his reasoning behind choosing Aiskala. Nehelini had always thought of Ice as the prefect calm and smooth element. It had its rough moments where you didn't want to anger it (blizzard), but it held amazing serenity (calm winter forest scene). The child also remembered their Father as a man of limitless Patience, especially when dealing with nine children. The youth can remember sleeping in his Father's side as the male hummed and read in his favorite armchair. When he wasn't called out to battle. It is because of this calmness and serenity, which Nehelini lacked and craved as a child, which attracts him to the Aiskala.

Thoughts on the Great Engagement: It took his parents from him and parted him from his beloved siblings. Any who support war, thinking their in the right need to stop and look around. The war does a lot more harm than good in his mind. Those who fight because they have to, he sympathizes with.
His parents were actually fighting with the Obvis, so he was raised to be a bit more open minded about them.
Thoughts on the Magescian Races: » Oblivionites: RUN LIKE HELL----I mean, sure Baruin told them a lot of scary stories. But, they all can't be bad...can they?
» Orderites: They got wings...they glitter...he was told a child that they weren't "air-heads" as one Tylerain called them. Also, that "yes" pulling their wings would hurt...
» Dovaa: He's proud of his heritage, but wish they weren't so loud!!!!
» Hybrids: "They're interesting...I had thought as a child they were impossible."
Thoughts on the Dragons and Khehora: Ysali: They're cute, but he doesn't want to anger them...small cute things can be deadly too.
Ayrala: They're up in the air, he's fine with the ground thank you very much...
Kiandri: Oh look, the reason why he doesn't like storms...
Firani: No...just no...
Peisio: MAMA'S CLAN!!! He's okay with them...
Aiskala: PAPA'S CLAN!!! He so wants to be like them!!!
Gaili: Earth...oh man...there's potential to exploit his klutz aspect....
Khehora: "...*hides*..."
General Thoughts If he ever ran into one: "OH DEAR GOD DON'T EAT ME!!!!!"
