Sacred Gear- She can sense and manipulate nearby beings' emotions, making her extremely empathetic. She can't tune out other people's emotions though, so her own can be drowned out by what others are feeling if it's a particularly strong emotion. This can even enable her to "speak" telepathically with someone, but she must have physical contact with that person to do so. Doesn't work over distances at all.. She can stun or knock someone out by forcing them to feel dozens of emotions at once and overloading their mind, but there's a chance that she could "mirror" the effects it has on them(it could backfire and affect her in the same way). Short Bio- Jinthel never really had a happy childhood. Her father was an abusive drunk who often hit her or her mother if they said or did anything he didn't like. She spent most of her time when she was home hiding and she often went for long walks to keep away from the house. One day, she found an old shed in the woods behind her house. Over the course of several weeks, she did her best to fix it so it was livable and learned the basics of surviving outside, then moved her blankets, pillow and stuff toys to it. She began to sleep there on most nights, only going home when her dad was out to get food or when she had no other choice. During spring, summer, and autumn, it was a cozy little hideaway, but during winter she had to return to her house to avoid freezing to death. Sometimes she got caught by her father and he would beat her then demand to know where she was going. She never told him which only made things worse for her.. Over the course of several years, he had broken many of her bones and put her in the hospital a couple times. The teachers at school often asked her where she was getting such injuries, but she never told them either for fear of getting her father angry. One day, when she was fourteen, she had to go home, she said something to her father. It's uncertain what it was that angered him so much, but he went into one of his drunken rages and he.. Well, to put it without any details, he beat her, then cut her tongue out with a pair of scissors while ranting about how little girls should not speak to their "betters" unless they were spoken to and other stuff. This was pretty much the last straw for her mother and she called the police and told them what was going on. They arrived fairly quickly and arrested him.. Jinthel was rushed to a hospital where her injuries were treated as best as possible. Later one once she had recovered physically, she got sent to a psychiatrist to help her recover mentally. She doesn't really remember what had happened very well at all and maybe that's for the best. Almost exactly two years after that.. Incident(both if which were spent.. Recovering), she received a letter inviting her to Kuoh Academy. Obviously she accepted it otherwise she wouldn't be here.
