Lately there has been rumor that the dead are walking among the living. Vile creatures that are not of this world are being sighted across the map. Some even resembles what seems to be the remains of 'humans' says reports from Death News. Legends say there is a spell that could have done such a thing. The forbidden arts that were said to have been destroyed is now being abused to spread corruption throughout the world. DWMA reports shows that all of these creatures that are causing havoc, are coming from an isolated island that appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the ocean. File: 00485 shows that there was once an island in the same location, but that was three hundred years ago. The ancient island was cursed or so they say, civilians of the island kept on dying due to a mist that washes over every year. One possible reason why any sane person stayed on the island was perhaps the lovely scenery and rich minerals within it's continent. These specimens of the dead is threatening humanity and destroying the environment where ever they go. Globally, many states have declared state of emergency already. The united army was on the case, but all 50 platoons that was sent in were eliminated within three days. One sol survivor was able to return to tell the tale, but the man did not recover from what he saw. Even now he is terrified of people in general, fortunately he still remembers his family. The case has been transferred to the DWMA and DMA and their elites. All hopes lies upon their success.

xxxxxxAs night fell, darkness roamed over the local nearby towns and swallowed it whole. The moon is nowhere in sight, nor were the stars to be sighted. Gently and swiftly, a massive mist made its way throughout the town. An eternal night of despair if one may so call it. Once the mist had settled, the moon came out. But it was no ordinary moon, it was a bright blood moon with an eye at the center, staring down upon the earth's surface. Slowly but steadily each town became a hunting ground for those that came from the beyond. Citizens panicking, the army defenses were being breached one by one with ease. Emergency sirens could be heard across the land as the hollowman swept throughout the land. Among it, roads in ruin, dead corpse laid across the street. A scale of corpses so high that it could be called human genocide. Though the hollowman were massacring people, they were sheding tears of sorrow while they cried frightfully. Before the hollowman could make their way to Berim, a small town in the middle of the forest. An officer opened a portal for DWMA/DMA elites to come through.

An inky blot grew larger and larger, until a tall frame was thrown from the opalescent surface of the portal with a resounding thud. Standing from a crouch, steely eyes peered out from beneath a mane of black hair. The emergency sirens rang in Koudou's ears, along with humans screams, discord, and the ugly sound of chaos. An even uglier sound crept into his ears - one that made the hair on the back of his neck stand on end.
There was a thing, approaching with a haphazard shuffle that was far from friendly. It reeked of death, adorned with skulls and what appeared to be rotting flesh. It stung Koudou's nose, burned his eyes, and it told every nerve in his body to run away, and quickly. He knew better.
He lowered his center of gravity, balancing himself. With a controlled breath, he found a brief moment of calm to survey the situation. I am the first to arrive. The beast shuffled closer by the second, now that it had Koudou in its sights - if it had eyeballs, for that matter. No matter. I will test this creature for myself.
With grace and reverence, he ceremoniously clapped his palms together. A single spiritual wave emanated outwards with a clear ring, like chiming crystal. "With the blood that flows as iron through the mountain, I am the blade, as the blade is me - I am Katanagami." A white hot glow engulfed his connected palms. "A wrap of ray skin. A tsuba of rounded iron. A standard blade. Come forth."
He drew back his right hand, and plunged it into the glowing white. With a slow draw outwards, a beautifully made sword was pulled forth from his other palm, still cherry red as if it were freshly forged. With a quick brandish to the side, the warm glow was extinguished, leaving a mirrored finish. Koudou prepared the sword at his side. "Let us begin."
With a burst of concussive force, cracked earth sprayed from behind Koudou as he flew at his opponent. Rotating his hips, his arms and shoulders screamed with tension as he threw his entire body into a powerfully weighted horizontal slice.

The blade bit into the side of the creature with devastating force. Fibers of tattered clothing, flesh, and bone melted before the unrelenting steel of the blade.
HP: 1000 Medkits: 5 Stone walked through the portal, the boy paid no mind to the sirens going on well because he couldn't hear them. His headphones were in and he was deep into one of his newest songs, a new age metal song. He hands were resting inside of the big pocket that he had on his hoodie. The boy was sure that his partner would be showing up soon. Although he couldn't hear the sirens he could see the destruction happening. He sighed lightly, he had just arrived and people were already dying. He pulled a hand out of his pocket and crouched down, pressing his hand into the ground, he focused his soul wavelength into it and ripples began to form. It was one of his abilities, blasting point. If one of these were to hit his enemy the ripple would swell up and explode underneath him or her. Sadly the monstrous creatures took notice to the ripples and avoided them. He sighed again, he may have to actually try.

Wolfgang entered through a portal moments later. He quickly glanced around and soon found his partner. "Stone.. sup?" He elbowed his arm, jokingly seeing that his partner had his headphones in. He sighed and looked around at the destruction going on. He was almost nervous at the moment. He found it funny how he could fight fine at home but now he was nervous.

Vanderheer teleported to the seen as a couple of the DWMA students had already attacked the hollowman. He would stand off to the side and watch. He didn't feel the need to intervene just yet.

xxxxxxThe painted skies of red, began to clear as the students and members began to swing into oblivion and swept away a creature of the reigning forces. The young man in long dark hair, elegantly took down one of the hallowmen with ease, as he cut clean the hollowman's heart. A chime could be heard through the town, like a cleansing of the soul if one would say so. It was loud and crystal clear, a voice that eased the fear of humanity. Similar to a song that would bring forth hope and passed down throughout generations to come. This alarmed the rest of the devil's spawn, making them all rush into the scene. The cold air whistle, as two more champions rose out of nowhere and began their barricade. The hooded man tried to cause an explosion, but he had missed the hollowman. The other man stood idle, waiting for the moment to strike, but that did not mean the hollowmen would leave him be. One hollowman flew over to the long hair man and began to slash at him. The hollowman made contact after a few attempts, it was good at killing humans, but not so much on elites. As it was doing so, it was blabbering some jibberish stuff as it cried. "Plaaazzzeee killlllz maaaaaaa!!!"Another hollowman rushed at the hooded one and tried to bash the man along with his partner into the nearby buildings. Hitting the hooded one straight on with it's elbow, but not the man's partner. Screeching, it quickly pulled its elbow back. "Naaaooooooo, stopp maaaaa!!"

The hollowman let loose a horrid screech as it faded to dust. He had found the heart of the creature by sheer luck, and it seemed to be their weak point. These creatures have the same weakness as conventional undead. There was much to ponder about that thought, but Koudou had no time. His action had awoken the undead in the area, and their myriad of cries and screams could be heard as they draw closer to the area. A few other members had begun to appear out of the portal behind him and begun attacking the undead reinforcements. Without turning, he spoke curtly to his teammates. "Their weak point is their heart. I am first year Junsei Koudou, a weapon." His katana gleamed from the light of the sun, glowing with an unearthly hue - like a spirit thirsty for blood. "Let us finish this quickly and honorably."
He turned to his right side. Caught completely unprepared, another hollowman had leaped forth from a shadow nearby at Koudou, slashing it's abominable bone blade directly at his neck. Koudou swung up a guard in the nick of time, but not enough to prevent a crippling impact. He felt the tearing of muscles and ligaments in his shoulder as he took the brunt of the impact directly to his side, while the blade light skimmed the edge of his shoulder, sending a few droplets of blood flying into the air. It sent him wheeling, rolling on the ground until he could stop himself with his feet. He slid to a stop as a dust cloud billowed around him. Bony or not, they had the ability to hit hard, much harder than a simple minion. And that blade... Koudou looked at his shoulder. The wound had already begun to sting with infection. That blade was no joke - it was razor sharp and seemingly riddled with dark magic.
A weight of seriousness fell upon his heart. These beings were abominations. Twisted playthings, created by someone for sheer amusement and made from some poor living creature. Judging by their cries and fragmented language, they're most likely human based. Sure enough, the one that had previously injured Koudou was chattering off in some kind of fragments that sounded like the ramblings of a broken mind. To cleanse the earth of evil like this was the very reason he had come to DWMA - this was his personal trial.
With a imperious gaze into the dark eyesockets of the hollowman, he shoved his katana into the earth beside him. Drawing in a deep breath, he transformed his forearms. into weapon form - two wide blades, one black, and one white. He crossed them in front of his head, as they faintly began to glow with a faint pink aura. (Rolling for damage)

The power flowed from the blades like a cascading waterfall. Very deliberately, he wheeled both arms outwards in a circular motion, creating two hovering circles of pink energy. His arms came back to rest in their original position. With a sudden increase in pressure, the earth at his feet cracked from the weight while he swung both swords downwards, sliding their edges against one another. The pink circles were connected at where the edges of the swords had sparked against one another. A sudden blast of wind erupted from Koudou as both of the circles shattered into pieces. The pieces hovered in the air, gliding carelessly back and forth like falling Sakura petals. The air was filled with them, a pleasant pink glow, bringing a sense of elegance and nobility to the malevolent air.
Koudou's arms transformed back, while he grasped his sword, pulling it firmly from the earth. With a deft movement, he gracefully pointed the tip at the hollowman. "Falling petals - blow."
The petals stopped their graceful fall, and burst forward with the intensity of swarm of hornets. The soul energy charged petals sliced through the hollowman like wind of death, quickly and silently. There was no hiss and scream, there were no sounds of blades - there was the whisper of the wind, and then, nothing. The petals faded into the wind, their only memory the sweet smell of Sakura blossoms.
Quickly sprinting behind his comrades, he took this brief chance to try to recover. He planned on using one of the medkits after he had recovered a bit of stamina.
((ooc: damn, I am getting some lucky rolls. koudou is kicking some serious butt. Oh and does the act of using a medkit take up a turn of action or can I use one AND attack?))
HP: 850 Medkits: 5 Stone got cocky, it had been too long since he had last fought and he thought this may be easy. He was elbowed right in the solar plexus, one headphone fell out. The boy looked up at the monster after hearing the strange cries. "You don't want to fight, this isn't right. Allow me to help." One hand reached into his pocket and the song coming from his headphones changed. Something a bit more fast paced came up. It wasn't right for anything to be forced to do something it didn't want to. He jumped back and held a hand out towards the monster "Now be free." One of his many soul wavelengths shot out from his hand, one full of energy and the only real offensive one he had. A beam of pure blue outlined in black electricity. The blast had torn the beast to shreds, nothing was left but a memory. Stone sighed slightly and looked towards Wolfgang, his partner "Well I guess you should change into your form, we got this!" He smiled, knowing that one blast could take one out had given him a bit more confidence.
Looking at the creature made Vandheer's eyes hurt. Such a sight should be kept in the dark. Yet there was still more to come. As he outstretched his hand a sword appeared.

As the rest the group fought the hollowmen, Max walked through the portal as he was ready for a fight. Well, seem like you guys started without me. He said as began sensing the multiple different wavelength in the area.
Wolfgang attacked one of the hallowmen before looking to his partner and nodding. He noticed a hallowman behind his partner, coming closer to attack him and attacked it while pulling his partner closer to him to get him out of it's range. He didn't care about the monsters. He was just going to do what he had to and get the mission over with. "That'd be smart right?" He said to his partner with a smirk and transformed.

Fading away their souls formed as a pearl and shattered into pieces on the ground. Whispering in the wind, they blessed the humans with a hint of the coming raid. "Fear ye whom devours the heavens..."
