          G i v e n N a m e:: Riku Kurosawa (last name meaning 'black swamp')
          O t h e r N a m e s:: Doesn't have many nicknames: Riku-sama, or Ri-san (for those who have a close relationship to him), or just Riku.
          A g e:: 25 years old
          B i r t h d a y:: March 11th
          O r i g i n:: Somewhere on the Hokkaido Island
          S p e c i e s:: Human....?
          H a i r C o l o u r:: Dark bluish purple color, weird but natural
          E y e C o l o u r:: Sea Green
          H e i g h t:: 6'2
          B u i l d:: Muscular but not like a body builder. His body has a more natural look to it, and his torso is deeply etched with a six pack
          S e x u a l i t y:: Hard to say since intimate relationships don't seem to be where his mind is. If it really came down to it he's probably more likely to 'do the deed' with a female than a male, but let's not count the men out

          ☒ Complicated missions

          T a l e n t s:: -Staying calm, he doesn't get angry or upset easily. Full fledged anger is something you may not see for a while. He'll get annoyed though, but that is if he's actually taking you seriously.
          -Appearing out of nowhere, or when you least expect it. He walks really quietly at times, probably on purpose to spook people.
          -Noticing details like slight changes in facial expressions or changes in voice tone; this doesn't mean you cannot hide things from him. He may notice you seem uneasy but he won't know why.
          -Hearing noises from far away, which at times can make it look like he's 'sensing things' if his company fails to hear it too

          Q u i r k s:: Seems to have trouble relaxing because he stays up late alot, like he has trouble settling down enough to actually sleep. It's not uncommon for him to be found wandering about late at night or even asleep in weird positions like sitting up with his back against a wall.

          He has numerous scars on his body from injuries over the years, some from his childhood when his father would train him and his siblings...in a rather harsh fashion

          He randomly grabs women, pushes them against the wall or something of the sort. Usually doesn't do much, and he never explains why he does it. (Sexually frustrated much?)

          S k i l l s::
          Swordsmanship, fighting (hand to hand, with jutsus, as well as with the kusarigama), knife throwing, stealth, walking or running for long periods, good balance, strength

          P e r s o n a l i t y:: Rude or curt, dismissive, picky, hard to please, and at times a man of few words. He likes handling problems on his own and that includes doing missions for his clan, however, he puts up with working with others because it is necessary. He doesn't reveal much about himself if he can help it so he comes off as an enigma to some. Most people say he's mean and too difficult to get along with, or get to know. One probably needs patience so that his attitude doesn't get to them...too easily.

          Oh and he doesn't like weaklings, whether you are male or female. (Gentlemen, if you're weak he will be especially hard on you.) He will likely point out your weakness whenever you make them obvious. He will expect you to learn how to protect yourself at least a little bit, and is likely to even try to train you because he cannot bear having someone so weak around him.

          He claims not to care for love, or sex, but still tends to make random sexual advances from time to time, whether it be a simple grabbing of the wrist, pushing one against the wall while he talks to them or long bouts of staring. xD He also never explains why he does it. Therefore it's hard to tell if he's just playing or actually serious. In his home village it's common for females to spread stories about what he did to them. He is somewhat known as a heart throb, but no female seems to have his heart. It's nice to dream though.

          H i s t o r y:: He is a child born from the black water clan, a clan of ninja who's special jutsu seem to revolve around darkly colored water; it would take many forms: liquid, mist or even thicken into dark sand, among other forms. The more tradition techniques a ninja learned showed their amount of skill. The nature of their jutsu is where his family name stems from, however his family are the only ones with that particular last name among the clan members, since their family serve as head of the entire clan.

          His father Kai Kurosawa was an especially strict man, training all four of his children in the art of ninjutsu from the age of six. He ignored their young age though, and trained them as if they were adults, which led to some serious training sessions that left each child bruised and battered. Riku's mother, Maiko, had been the less strict parent; she had seemed more like a breath of fresh air to the four children. While father made them practice their balance until one in the morning, by making them stand on long, high wooden perches in the middle of their villages rushing rivers. They weren't suppose to fall in or they fail. Their mother always made sure to have a hot meal waiting for them, after a long day of hard work.

          She had always been smiling, a real contrast compared to their father's never changing face. Because Kai was head of their clan he felt especially pressured to make sure his children were not 'failures.' This led to the strict training. Their parents actually argued about the severe training, but their arguments were kept confidential--though the servants of their household did whisper about their 'marital problems.'

          Riku is actually the second oldest child, he has one older sibling: brother Hayato, and a younger brother and sister named Kyo and Kikyo, who are twins. Kikyo being the only girl out of the four children. Over the years the training helped sculpt each member of the Kurosawa family. All four of them grew to become exceptional ninja, which came in handy for when their clan began having conflict with their neighboring ninja clans like the Yukimura clan (snow ninja) and the Kimura clan (earth ninja). They remained on good terms with other clans though like the Inoue clan who's jutsu center around sound waves.

          These conflicts--especially the conflict with the Yukimura clan, stretched out for years, until each of Kai and Maiko's children were well into their adult years. They all practically grew up with war around them, but it was war amongst their own kind: ninja. These wars also helped shape them as people, toughen them up. Of course Kyo never seemed to lose his spirited personalty and Kikyo still secretly dreamed of true love like any other female. Mostly Riku and Hayato seemed to take their duties and devotions to the clan seriously, and thought of nothing else. They completely threw themselves into their training and ended up surpassing their other two siblings, causing them to fall behind and have to play 'catch up.'

          Hayato and Riku were teenagers when their rivalry began. They constantly tried to beat each other. Trying to figure out who had more stamina or strength. Who had better balance? Who could strike the most fish with their shuriken? Who could run faster or leap from one tree to another without falling or making a mistake? They also sparred with each other and practiced their jutsu. Hayato seemed to always be just a little bit above Riku though, no matter how much he increased his training. There was another remainder of his inferiority as well, that fact that Hayato would go on to represent their clan when father passed his title as head ninja down to him. Riku wasn't exactly envious or bitter about this, mostly he felt disappointed in himself.

          The war with the Yukimura clan was at an all time high when their father started to become ill. The fear that they would lose their clan leader was strong--it spread through each and every black water shinobi. However, Kai continued with his duties fearing that Hayato was not yet ready to take over for him. Besides, he was not bed ridden yet, he could still perform his duties. Then something else happened...

          There were attacks from the snow ninja left and right, for a week straight and their numbers were lower than ever. Riku had been 22 around this time, and tried his best to help fend off the attacks. For a while there was tension and the pressure seemed to aggravate their father's condition. To add onto their issues Hayato had an accident when he was ambushed by 10 enemy ninja. He suffered head injuries that lead to some brain damage. This lead to him losing function in some of his limbs.

          The snow shinobi retreated after several failed attempts to kill Riku's father, their numbers soon also took a beating, and there was a long stretch of silence afterwards. Still the village was battered and so were their people, they had alot of work to do. Hayato's injuries were pretty bad and due to his limitations Kai ended up making the decision of passing his title to Riku instead. Hayato said he didn't mind it, and that he understood and would respect their father's decision. Just like that heavy responsibilities were passed to Riku.

          He worked hard to live up to his father's expectations afterwards. For months he trained and worked hard to make sure he was prepped for his role as leader. He did seem to fully devote himself to his destiny. Most now say there was never a female samurai staying in their village. No one seems to know what her name was, she stayed in their village for at least two years. She likely had been a ronin, and a reliable ally. She was constantly seen with Riku. Then one day she was gone and he went back to training. Most of the ninja now either never saw her around, forgot her, or perhaps do not want to acknowledge the fact that a ronin was staying in their village at one point, because most of them say they do not recall there being a samurai in the village. Could they be lying?

          Nowadays Riku works close alongside his father, ready to take over whenever the day comes that his father cannot continue. Hayato now 29 still has problems with movement due to his injuries, he has been married for sometime with two children, but seems to be burdened by that accident. Kyo (23) is engaged and Kikyo (also 23) and Riku are in the process of choosing spouses. Mostly Riku checks up on the needs of the clan, trains young ninja, keeps an eye on their enemies and goes on spy missions to make sure they are not plotting anything (along with other types of missions), and trains. He can care less about marriage but pretends to care in front of his parents. Why he doesn't care for it is unsure, unless that mysterious female samurai has something to do with it..
