Hey guys! In the spirit of re-animating the guild, I thought I'd start a topic on costumes.
Seen any? Or even have one yourself? Share them here! emotion_awesome A while ago, when I went to the London Expo in October last year, I saw someone dressed as Janos with a pretty decent copy of the Soul Reaver in hand. So I scurried up and pounced on them!  I'm pretty sure I saw someone else walk by with what looked like a knitted Soul Reaver sword with little LED lights in it, but sadly the crowd swallowed them before I could get close enough to grab them. sad

THAT IS AWESOME!!
I didn't see any LoK cosplayers at GenCon last year but maybe I'll find some this year? I would love to see it. I know Hatter goes to Otakon every year; does anyone else go to cons to try and find people?

It's VERY hard to find LoK cosplayers in the US. Most of the LoK cosplayers I have seen have been primarily in Europe, mostly because Simon Templeman is British. XD

Do you think these cosplayers will show up more as the Nosgoth game starts to go? The beta isn't open yet (still a closed alpha; waiting to see if I get in)

Lieutenant Turel Do you think these cosplayers will show up more as the Nosgoth game starts to go? The beta isn't open yet (still a closed alpha; waiting to see if I get in) It's quite possible. I think the vampires they have going for them are awesome along with the hunters. :3

I know 4 of the games have been ported to Steam. With proper advertising, the series could get a comeback.

Fans so hardcore on the older games are ruining the momentum though. : ( Like they aren't even giving Nosgoth a chance. I mean, that's sad because the graphics look cool. I even like how the game says: There's no good and no evil. You just pick a side, doesn't matter which and basically kill. Because they are truly emphasizing on the basic instincts of each race: Kill. Hunt.

TF2 started with absolutely no plot other than "kill opposing team and capture intel/control points/move the cart"
It is super popular.
Half Life had very little plot and little dialogue and was groundbreaking for FPS development.
So long as they don't Duke Nukem Forever the series, there is promise
