I've been trying to learn more and more about it so that I could make the clothing pieces myself! I actually plan on wearing it, too. I've loved it for a few years now but I just now gained the courage to try and actually wear it. I already have a shirt and two dresses. I got the shirt for Christmas and the dresses from a friend. I have a Lolita-ish dress as well... but I doubt it counts. I'm off to a wonderful, fantastical start! Wish me luck, my darlings! (Gods... I hope that didn't come off a creepy...)

I have to say, I have been rather curious about gothic lolita. The clothing itself would KO my wallet, though.... Big brand names cost a little too much, I think.... I've only seen pictures of the different types of lolita.
I just really like the creativity aspect of it. It's very alluring, yet strangely innocent. Learning to sew is a huge must. It's very tempting to walk around San Francisco, or where ever while dressed in a gothic get-up, complete with a frilly skirt. Quite the site, indeed.

It's pink and black plaid with lace trim. I've considered making some clothing, but I don't have the materials and I've never done it before. What type do you have?

I've been wanting to buy and make my own things. I only have two dresses and I can't even wear them because I don't have the things needed to wear it correctly. Petticoats, bloomers, socks/leggings/something else like that, correct shoes, and some kind of headdress. So much stuff that's needed. I've been looking up how to make this stuff and I'm feeling pretty optimistic about it!

ShiningStar KiraKira Gothic lolita! I'm not sure about my second dress... It's pink and black plaid with lace trim. I've considered making some clothing, but I don't have the materials and I've never done it before. What type do you have? I mainly do bittersweet coords, so basically like sweet lolita patterns but in black, or a sweet jsk paired with more creepy-cute accessories. c: It sounds like your second dress is punk loli! uwu Which is good because it means if you have a Hot Topic nearby you can find all the accessories you need hee~ I saw in this video that the average Angelic Pretty dress requires 30-50 patterns to be sewn which is totally terrifying to me haha. But they show part of their process in the video, it might help. c: The Angelic Pretty Video<3

I like the sound of that. It seems really cute! I do have a hot topic nearby. The dress that I think is lolita-ish is actually from hot topic. It seems kinda like ero lolita to me...

I have only seen photos of lolita fashion I don't know that much about it. I learned some about it by reading the manga KAMIKAZE GIRLS. I do like it my favorite I have seen so far is Cosplay/Maid Lolita and Wa Lolita.

A good website would be lolitafashion.org. They have all kinds of information that would help a lot!
