As battles and wars commence between the many clans and realms, the clan of darkness waits. When a battle is won or lost, the victors are weaker and the defeated even weaker, but those of darkness stay strong. Staying neutral of all clans and realms, they may offer favours to those of other clans, but never swears alliegence and are not known for there loyalty. They only stay loyal to there own clan. Honour is of great importance so if they swear to do something, they do it or die trying. To have someone from this clan swear to do something is very unlikely. They only swear to help if they owe a life debt, which is very hard to come by. To be in this clan you must be strong at heart and show little emotion. Death and destruction must be out-glanced and loyalty must be true to us and no-one else. Let the darkness open your soul and shroud your enemies with fear. This is your destiny!

Races There are many races welcome in the clan of darkness. As long as the creature in question is dark, not evil, but dark. Darkness may come in many forms. Some associate darkness with evil, when that is not true. Darkness is the mystery, a 1 of the 7 elements of being. Darkness is that person you thought you knew, but had something beyond your understanding, or the place that you always went, but didn't know why and it always sent a curious shiver down your spine. If you are not one of these, then maybe this clan is not for you, but if you are you must remember that darkness is a mystery, you'll never understand it as you will never understand yourself.

Requirements All I ask of you is that you are literate, follow the rules and are dark in the way I described in the previous post. Although this seems very simple for rules, it is actually very complex. To begin with, I feel I must define literacy to you. Literacy The dictionary definition for literate is being able to read and write, however this is not all I ask for when I say literate, however the previous is obligatory. I ask for the following things. Good sentance structure, Elaboration, Correct punctuation, Good grammar (that's grammar, not Grandma), Good Paragraphing and Spacing Use of Literacy tools (Personifiction, metaphors, the stuff your teacher talked about at school in which you fell asleep and dreamed of sheep jumping over fences and then a masked maniac cutting down those fences. Oh, was that just me? Nevermind), Use of Synonyms (try using a thesaurus) and, Understanding words (try using a dictionary). I know a very good thread you can use to help you with the following tools and give you advice on how to write long paragraphs, make your profile and much more. Character's Name: Streak Lightning
Age: Unknown, even to himself.
Gender: Male
Race/Species: Dark Spawn
Strengths: On his own terms, he is practically undefeatable, with control over the shadows (see Special Abilities) the very surroundings help him in battle.
Weaknesses: Severly weakened to the extent of a human child in light, in twilight, he is better than the average person, but not undefeatable.
Alignment: To himself and those loyal to him.
Rank in Clan: Dark Lord
Appearance: His face is unseen by most of the world, the only visible features are his two glowing red eyes, that reach into the depths of your soul. He wears a black cape that weightly spreads across him, but with the strength of some strange enchanted armor when in the darkness. Other than the red eyes, he is practically impossible to see in the darkness of a shadow.
Profession: He was a freelance assassin until he realised something. The targets he were going for were no challenge at all. He felt he needed a challenge, he felt he needed a war. He is now the leader of his clan.
Primary (Melee) Weapon(s): Blade of Darkness, crafted from the darkness itself, the blade is deadly and silent as Streak is himself. It matchs Streak to perfection. The blade is Streak and Streak is the blade as they are but as one. He may summon them at any time as he never carries them with him.
Secondary (Ranged) Weapon(s): Black Daggers, basically the same as as the Blade of Darkness, only smaller.
Special Abilities: Manipultation, manipulation and, to a certain extent, creation of shadows. Streak can also teleport from one shadow to the next.
(Non-Magical) Talents: Good leadership skills and inspiring voice. Some say he can place spells on people making them believe anything he says, however this is not true, he is just very persuasive. He is also stealthly, even without his power and his accuracy with a weapon is incredible, for both ranged and melee, although it drops when he enters light as the light blinds him, making his shots hit off-target.
Personality: Clod, merciless and used to working alone, until he started the clan. He feels superior to all, which is his strength and his weakness. He would never call anyone his equal, even in death. He also keeps his past to himself along with other things. Eventhough he feels superior, he doesn't brag, as he never gives away tactical information about himself. He has learn to never trust anyone, not even family. If he ever trusted someone, then he would be at their mercy.
Brief History: Although he keeps his past to himself, he does have one. As a child he was brought up in a time of war. During this war, his mother was killed and his father disappeared. He was taken in by a dark warrior who taught him the art of combat and how to use his 'unique' power. Eventually, he surpassed his mentor. As his mentor became jelous, he struck out at Streak, but Streak defeated him. It hurt that he had been betrayed by the only one he had trusted.
A few years later, his father returned. His father fought for a rival clan to the one who he lived. He was a spy. When Streak found out he decided he had to kill his father. He felt nothing during his father's death. He was cold and merciless. Eventually, he was found out and the leaders of the clan of which he fought for saw it as a sign of treachery. They thought Streak's father was loyal to them, and wouldn't listen to Streak. They banished Streak from the land.
Streak eventually found a new way of living, as a freelance assassin. He had all the skills for killing and needed money.
As the years went by, Streak was killing for the sport as he already had a lot of money, but he was geting bored with the small challenge he was getting. When he heard news of a war, he wanted to be part of it, but no clan would accept him as he was marked as a traitor. He decided to make a new clan and be the leader himself. He founded the Clan of Darkness, but had no land. He wanted land, so he decided to conquer..............
Other Points: He rewards loyalty and kills traitors. Strengths: Dead Silent, Incredibley Fast, Unimanginable Aim.
Weaknesses: Finds it incredibly hard to kill...though He is a vamp and an assassin he has a hard time killing. But will not hessitate if killing is the only way out. Sunlight will not kill Rift but it dulls his sences a bit and stings his eyes. And of course his hunger for blood plagues him
Alignment: A vampire with a Conscience doesnt really fall under one category. I guess as close as you can get is Chaotic.
Rank in Clan: Wandering Darkness
Appearance: Tall and quite handsome Rift wears all one toned black, and a Blood Red scarf that covers all of his face accept his red eyes. A sleevless shirt. He wears long black pants and a large black cloak, he usually wears the hood up to cover his face. he also has on light black chainmail under his shirt, but it was so beutifully crafted that unless you look very closly you wouldnt relize it at all. He has short gloves on and long boots that go under his pants. he has a runic symbol imbetted above his right eye...It is small but very noticeable due to his tan skin. The symbol gives Rift the ability to see perfectly during the day. On his back, under his cloak rests "AGE".
Profesion: Highly trained Assassin spend 150 years prefecting his craft. Traveled the world learning a little from the best. Also spent his time being trained in the japanese sword by 3 different sensei.
Primary (Melee) Weapon(s): Only one. A katana known as "AGE". It was crafted in the early roman age by a japanese swordmaster named Sheio Age (Pronounced: She-o, A-gay) this man poured his life and soul into this blade. On the day he finished it he passed. The sword was passed on to the ancestors of Rifts most recent sensei. While being trained in the Japanese swrod Rifts dojo was attacked by a group of assassins sent to steal the blade. Rifts sensei was murdered protecting this blade. And so when Rift left he swore to protect the blade with his life. Rift decided to name the blade "AGE" and hung 3 tasstles from the handle, One for the Age past, One for the Age to come, and one for the Age that was taken from us. And that is AGE.
Secondary (Ranged) Weapons: 6 magical daggers that rest in 6 sheathes. 3 on each of Rifts thighs. The daggers will return to their sheathes at will. all Rift must do is think of them and they come.
Special Abilities: All classic Vampire traits. with the exception of shape changing, super strength. Hightened sence of smell, eyesight, speed. Silent as death.
(Non-Magical) Talents: An incredible linguist Rift has mastered many different languages and is quite the artist.
Personality: Rift is a Vampire with a conscience he is a trained killer but Rift prays after every battle and every night for the souls of those lost. He is an amazingly sensitive and caring creature under that "Hard murderous mask". All you must do is get him to lower his gaurd.
Brief History: Rift has been a loner all his life. Allways alone allways lonley. Rift found this clan as a place to connect and perhaps reconsile with his demons. Had Rift been a high rank he would have run his duties with the wisdom and noble desires that have plagued his being all Rifts life. Weaknesses: Weak against any form of silver, if she does not eat enough meat she becomes weak and wild, and she has a major weak spot right below the ears (if applied with enough pressure it would make her immobile).
Alignment: No set alignment. She is loyal only to the clan.

Appearance: Risika has short silver hair with red bangs, grey eyes and pale skin. She wears a long black trench coat over a red sleeveless shirt, and black gothic style pants, and black army like boots. She always wears a black collar, a long red chain necklace, and small black loop earrings. Her lycan form is white, with red fur around her neck and claws.
Profession: Trained Assassin. Was once part of a large group, until she was betrayed.
Primary (Melee) Weapon(s): Lupus: A twin blade sword made from the bones of a wolf demon, which she wields in her left hand. Dracos: A shorter twin blade sword that was made from the fang of a dragon which she wields in her right hand.
Secondary (Ranged) Weapon(s): a set of twelve daggers that were made from the bones of Risika's best friend, a wolf named Firiner, who was killed.
Special Abilities: Can turn into her lycan form at will, and can call upon wolves of any kind to help her.
(Non-Magical) Talents: She is a martial arts master and she can make anything into a usefull weapon. She is good at improvising.
Personality: Cold and emotionless, usually, but underneath it all is a lonely and shy person. She is loyal at all times, and would die if it would help the clan.
Brief History: When Risika was only about 190 she was betrayed by her group of assassins. Since then she has been a loner, and never let anyone get close to her. When she heard that there was a clan for those who were like her, she decided to join in and she swore herself to the leader.
