Well, here's my first real post other than the one in the introduction thread since joining. I'm new to both this guild and to the website, so I'm looking to get started in at least one roleplay thread here before the new year starts. I've seen a few that have been inactive for over a month though, so if anyone could suggest any for me to get started in, I'd appreciate it.
I usually enjoy anything if I can get the hang of how I play it out. My only real condition is that I'd like to join something that doesn't have a minimum required amount of lines per post. I haven't taken part in any roleplays for a good few months, and if something is going slow then I'd find it difficult to make one or two actions in a post into a full paragraph about five lines long.

Hi! :3 Nice to meet you! ^^ I just recently joined this group as well. I'm not new at all to the website, though. I really don't know what to tell you about your problem with witting more than a few sentences in a post. ^^; I'm pretty sure everyone in this group writes at least two paragraphs per post. We're all pretty detailed. Really, though, it's not hard to learn how to write more. ^^ instead of focusing on your character! take in pieces of the environment! or share what your character Is thinking or feeling. Here is a sample. First, a simplistic post: Erin shook her head. "No, I hate snow." She said. "I always get stuck inside. It's so boring!" Instead of writing a simplistic post like this, try adding more detail: Erin shook her head. "No, I hate snow." she said with a shiver, pulling her winter coat more tightly around her to fight the cold. Snow pelted against her, slowly building a thin layer of white atop her shoulders and head. "I always get stuck inside, it's so boring!" She heaved a sigh, knowing this snowstorm would surely keep her locked up inside her home. "At least I have some video games to keep me busy." She thought to herself, though it didn't offer much comfort.----- See what a difference that made? ^^ Longer, more detailed posts are way more engaging and fun to read. It's not that hard to learn once you get some practice. If you want to RP with me to try it out, I'm up for it! biggrin

I've been here for about 19 days now and I'm only taking part in one roleplay at the moment, so I'm still looking for pretty much anything.

I'm fairly new here 50 days whoooh
anyway, I've never done role-play before joining this site, but I love rpg on pc and xbox, i also love reading.
One thing I do if stuck for ideas is think about how some of my favorite authors write and what grabs my attention in their work.

Still searching for at least one more roleplay to join. I haven't seen that many in this forum that seem like they would suit me so if anyone wants to start one and needs someone to take a look and most likely join it, let me know what your idea is.

A lot of the role-plays you will find here are probably going to require 1-2 paragraphs per post. Have you perhaps looked at the list of role-plays that are currently active? If you're not finding anything there, I would recommend a 1x1 search, if you are into that sort of role-play. It seems a lot of people enjoy using that forum. If you're still feeling a bit rusty, they're a good way to get things moving again, at least they always have been for me. Sorry if I'm just repeating things you have already tried. I would ask if you'd like to join mine, but I do require 2-3 paragraphs ^_^'.

The thing is, multiple paragraphs isn't just inconvenient for me due to not being a creative writer, I genuinely don't see how something like that could work out well if you're just posting about doing or saying a few small things. Not to mention that being involved in interaction with another person only exacerbates the issue, on other forums I've seen people doing strictly multiple-paragraph roleplays and yet they still had to resort to, at most, a single paragraph when it came to asking another character an important question that required a response from them. Even for people considering themselves the best it still wasn't possible and many turned to just spamming the same location description each time to try and make up the required amount of text.
As for the 1x1 search, I'm assuming that means roleplay between just two people? If so then I'm already looking for one of those, as the thread title would suggest.

About the 1x1 thing, I'd be willing to rp with you.I usually just try and match the length of my post to that of the other person, though sometime it's more, others it's less.I have no preference as long as it's not one liners every post.

Sounds good to me. Anything you want to suggest for us to do? I know the guild is called Lands of Imagination but I'm not creative enough to come up with an idea for an RP.

Well, there's your generic vamp and werewolves/shifters and humans, the more of the fantasy type, bringing elves and dragons, the magical stuff.There's also the fanfic types.Or we could just brainstorm until we find something.

I've never really tried vampire and werewolf stuff, nor have I taken part in many fantasy or fanfic themed roleplays. If you want to do one of them though then I'm up for taking part.

Well it's nearly been a full month since I've posted in this guild. The only RP I'm in right now still hasn't had any more replies, so I'm bumping this in the hopes that someone wants me to join another RP with them.
