So I'm planning on making the main meal for my family's christmas dinner.
I was considering roast lamb, rack of lamb, prime rib, pork roast with crackling or even duck.
What's your guys' experience with special event dinners, even if you haven't cooked one yourself tell me from a guest at the table point of view perhaps?

DJ Wise Fox Heres a list of dishes Fettuccine With Lobster, Tomatoes and Saffron Horseradish Shrimp Light and Crispy Fritto Misto Struffoli ect. Holiday Meals sauce biggrin Ah I appreciate it, however I'm allergic to shellfish except shrimp. What is Fritto Misto though? I'm curious.

I have to say the best is always the normal stuff heart I fave has to be a beef roast with mashed potatos and corn. for the perfect roast you put a quarter to half a cup of water on the bottom (more water for more roast) little less than a quarter cup of vinegar (really softens the meat) and rub the roast with a little salt and pepper and a bit of oil (to keep in the juices) and cooking depends on size but at least low for 3 hours mrgreen

Haha to tell the truth me either sweatdrop you can tell we don't eat too much seafood I guess (except fettuccini noms!! blaugh )
