"Sit down child," Tori huffed, "you'll wear a hole in my floor." She had watched Alison pace the sitting room over a dozen times.
"Mom," Alison groaned as she flopped into a chair.
"Don't do that either you'll mess up your dress." Now Tori was making a fuss over Alison's dress and hair. And doing her best to make sure everything was absolutely in place.
"Seriously!"
"Yes seriously! You'll want to look you're very best. If you continue what you're doing you'll look like a used floozy."
"MOM!"
"What?"
"You know I seriously have no issues dressing myself. He likes the way I look. It doesn't mater what I wear." Alison was up and pacing again. She was nervelessly awaiting Sebastian.
"I certainly hope you wear more than your nickers."
Alison turned red. "MOM!"
Tori crossed her arms. "I'm not going there because we've already had THAT talk but please be a lady."
"I am a Lady!"

Sebastian took a deep, slow breath, and put his gift behind his back, biting his lip a bit as he walked up the steps to knock on the door. His hair was slicked back into the ponytail, which now sported a pretty white bow instead of just a scrunchie. His clothes were pressed and perfect, one of Arri's old suits, a black one, with red-velvet lining. Arri said he would have bought one - but since he was still under the weather, he suggested he wear this one instead, and they'd go shopping for one once he felt a little better. Seb waited for the door to open with bated breath, playing back the instructions to get to Capriccio's in his head. It was a nice little cafe, and they'd be able to have a lovely dinner there, maybe a talk, then he was planning a walk along the waterfront, and a paid horse-drawn carriage ride around the square.

Tori opened the door and smiled. "Come in." She motioned towards the door that lead to the sitting room just off to the right.
Alison knew better than to jump up and make a mad 'dash' to the door. Not that she had any but she just hoped that her mom would save the embarrassing moments for another date, a date that was a very long ways aways.

Sebastian stepped up to the threshold, and executed a bow toward Tori, stepping into the room with a quiet sort of grace. Of course, his cheeks were pink, as well as his nose [as it was sort of chilly outside] but the blushing was very typical of dates between people of his and Alison's age.
"Thank you, Ms. Rolfe." The boy said, smiling up at her."I'm sorry for the intrusion, but I'm here to pick up Alison? My father will drive us to the waterfront... Oh! I have... something for her... if you approve?"

Tori followed his bow with a curtsy. "As long as it isn't a box of condoms or so negligee I don't mind you giving her a gift at all," she chuckled. She was sure that Sebastian hadn't brought either of those things but still she couldn't help but to tease. She followed after him. The door was already opened.
"Sebastian," Alison grinned and stood. She had really dolled herself up. All the way down to having a pair of legs and wearing panty hose. She knew that her mom insisted on her being herself but she was going on a date and she wanted to look nice. Not that she didn't anyways but she wanted to look extra special.

The boy coughed a bit, and swallowed, and tried to regain his composure. To say he was attracted would be a serious faux pas, so he didn't. Instead, he just let his eyes do the talking... and the walking where he would like to be placing his hands right now - which was all over her. He looked her up and down, before catching himself, and clearing his throat.
"You look... absolutely lovely." Sebastian said with a self-conscious grin. "It would make me very happy indeed if you would accept this small token.." He pulled the box from behind his back. It was a white box, tied with a neat blue ribbon that faded to a much lighter blue at the ends. There was a pretty bow tied in the ribbon, and a note hanging off the side of the package, attached by a necklace of string and medium-sized beads in all colors of the rainbow.

"Thank you," Alison blushed bright red. Knowing that her mom was watching her, the both of them, she didn't hug him and kiss. That could come later. At dinner. Her cheeks turned darker at the thought. "You look dashing yourself." Sebastian already looked good in every day wear but him in a suit was better than swim trunks. Something about the mystery of what was underneath.
She smiled as she accepted the gift, "you didn't have to." What she planned on giving him was far from finished. Her and Willow were both working on making a stuffed kitty.
She ran her hand under her dress as she sat back down. She was extremely careful of the ribbon. Then her attention was caught by the shiny. The necklace. She held it up and gasped. "It's gorgeous." She sat the package in her lap and pulled her hair up with her free hand. "Please?"
"You two seem as if you'll be a minute. Sebastian I'll go entertain your father. Don't take too long or else I'll have to think the worst." She gave her daughter a look before giving Sebastian the same. She left the room.

Sebastian fastened the necklace around her neck, being careful not to pinch, and hoping she'd like the necklace.... AND that she'd like the gift that was actually inside the box. The note that was attached to the necklace said 'I love you' in simple, sweet cursive - and was probably written by hand.
INSIDE the box, once she opened it, was a circlet of silver, with copper veins through it, from which was dangling a silver pendant with held more beads in rainbow colors. It was obviously a circlet for Alison's head, and this one - unlike the necklace - was clearly the work of a professional. It had floral wire-work all throughout the circlet, and a couple of bronze-silver flowers sitting inside the box, with places they could be attached after the circlet was put on.
"Do.... do you like it?"

The moment Alison felt the necklace on her neck she picked a mirror that sat on a nearby table. "Absolutely lovely." She smiled. She would have continued to the admire the work but didn't want to come off as rude if other things got ignored.
Humming softly she sat down the mirror and read the note. Her blush darkened. Knowing that if she attempted to say it back she'd get tongue tied and fail she settled on signing it to him.
She slowly opened the box and pulled out the circlet. Her eyes went huge. She couldn't imagine the cost. She didn't want to. She took off her floppy hat and picked up the mirror. After making sure her hair was just so she placed it on her head. Looking into the mirror she saw a princess looking back at her. She grinned and giggled.
She reached out and grabbed his hand and pulled him in her lap. She hugged him tight. "I love it. Thank you so much."

He hugged her back, and kissed her cheek, his hand seeking her own, and twining his fingers with hers.
"We're going to this cute little cafe down at the waterfront, and I've got some special things planned for later. My dad's going to drive us there... and drop us off, and he'll come get us when I call him." He smiled, and squeezed her hand a bit.
"I HOPE we're going to have a good time... so just try and relax, and let me take care of things for a while... I'm not really good at this whole... caring for others, bit, so.... It might take me a time or two..." He blushed deeply. "Don't... give up on me if I don't get it one-hundred percent right tonight...."

"You mean were going to get in one of those motorized death traps?" Alison swallowed down the lump that had formed in her throat. "I've never been in one before. Mom says they are extremely dangerous."
"If they have a porch can we sit outside please?" She really loved the idea of going to a cafe by the waterside. Especially since they could catch the sunset.
"I'm sure we'll have a lovely time. And I'm not aiming for perfect. Life is no fun if it is perfect." She winked. "And, don't worry I'll take care you." She hugged him again. "If we don't get outside soon mom will think we're up to something." She grinned.

Seb smiled, and nodded. "Alright. And Dad's a good driver. He says a car's only dangerous in the hands of an idiot." he said, standing up, and extending his hand to help Alison up as well.
"I want this night to be something you enjoy, so... Feel free to ask for whatever you want, and I'll try and make it happen... even if I have to seriously bribe the wait-staff to let us sit outside. I don't... quite think that will be necessary though."
He cracked another grin, and offered to hold the door for her to get outside.
Arri was in the car, talking to Tori. "Seb's a good kid. We'll be sure to get her home by midnight and no later." he was saying, leaning with one arm over the front seat. "And no worries - I'm not letting them both sit in the back seat. One will be up front here with me the entire time we're driving."

"I appreciate you going out of your way but you really don't have to. I kinda like it when things just happens." The red on her cheeks went all the way to the tips of her ears. "Like the other day at the pool. Life is better when it is unexpected." She gave his hand a squeeze.
She was extremely slow making it to the front door. This was just further proof of how terrible she was on two legs. "When our parents aren't around please don't let go of me. I'd hate to fall and get a run in my hose."
"You don't have to go as far as separating them in the car. I doubt they'd do anything in front of you. It is what they do when were not looking that we should worry about." Tori grinned. "And if it isn't exactly on the dot midnight I won't scold her."

Sebastian made sure to support most of her weight, to make walking easier on her. He would help her as much as she wanted, down to carrying her if needbe - although he'd have to build up some muscle to be carrying her for any more of a distance than a couple yards. He still wanted to make sure she was okay, taking time to help her down each step.
"I'll try to be on time. Oh! There they are now." Arri said, waving to both of them. "We'd better get going or else the seating's going to be tough. It was a pleasure talking to you, Tori. I'm sure we can continue our conversation some other time." He smiled, and reached over to open the front-seat door for Sebastian and Alison.
Seb walked Alison to the car, and helped her into the front seat, making sure to cover her lap with the blanket there, and giving her a light kiss on the cheek as he pulled away to get into the back. "It's about an hour to the place, so I figured you'd be more comfortable in the front where you have more room." he said, reaching over to touch her shoulder and let her know he was there.

Alison was extremely grateful for the help. She could walk but there was no grace about it. And to make it that much harder on herself she'd worn heels. Not terribly tall ones just modest ones. But still...
She didn't make as much fuss over her dress since she had a blanket. She just hoped that when she got out that she wouldn't flash anyone. She again was terrible with these legs. "You could have taken the front. You are a smidgen taller than me. But thank you."
"Evening Sir." She said once they were situated. "Night mom."
"Night. You two have a nice time and don't do anything I wouldn't do."
"That's nothing at all mom."
"Well then do the opposite." Tori waves.
