Teen - > Adult
3 Months Time (11/17/13 - 2/17/14) 1 Response to Growth - x 5 PDs - Tryce, Kirsi1, Kirsi2 2 Solo RPs or Journal Entries - Meta1 & Meta2 2 Skill Learned - 1 Evolution! - Not possible!
Hair Style: Straight (ish) this time, and sort of a lighter, brighter version. Not necessarily streaked, but sort of like this except male. Definitely that over the shoulder, little mermaid thing lol.
Eyes: Still blue! Confident
Attitude/Nature: He's still the same stalwart tough guy, but he's a little...confused by it all and isn't appreciating his newer girlier self - Example facial expression
Clothing Style: Draw inspiration from these refs and go buck wild. Iamnotashamed. Also, black nail polish is a must.
Body Style: Slimmer muscle now, a little taller (longer?) in appearance, but really it's just the lack of buffness giving him a sleeker look. Almost effeminate.
Pokemon Features: Wiggly tuff - Ears, Goldeen - Fishy tail instead of legs, fins, horn instead of curly cue; Combo - I'd like him to have Goldeen's coloration, but with Wigglytuff's pale pink instead of orange and fins everywhere like this[/ur].

Response to Growth
From as far back as Shousuke could remember he’d been a Jigglypuff. Logic dictated that for some length of time he would have been an Igglybuff, but he had no memories of that time. Anything that came before Reggie just didn’t matter.
As Shousuke flopped back into his studio recliner, he watched as track after track went on auto play. The dancers didn’t seem to notice that their DJ had mentally checked out. Shou pried his wallet from the depths of his pocket and with a practiced flip opened it to a worn photo of two young boys. Reggie had aspired to be the best Poke’mon trainer in the world, and to Shousuke, he always had been. The boy had big dreams that never came true. In the photograph his smile was timeless. Shousuke could trace the dimples in his cheeks with his finger, and could still hear Reggie’s snorting laughter. The photo had been taken during a Summer’s picnic, when Shou was still a Jigglypuff. Reggie had tried playing a song on his father’s guitar while balancing chocolate milk on the edge of the guitar. The result was a boy and his Poke’mon caught mid laugh, each soaked in milk.
Good times never seem to last as long as the bad.
A few weeks after that picnic Reggie got sick, and never seemed to get better. When Shousuke transformed for the first time Reggie’s parents flipped. They began to worry over raising another child; was it in the budget, would he go to school, were they parents or grandparents, etc. It never phased Reggie. Shousuke remembered Reggie getting out of his bed on weak legs and offering a pale hand to lift him up. ”Now we’re real brothers.” The fact that Shou had curly hair thrilled Reggie; to him it was a sign, since their hairstyles were just so similar now. He poked at Shou for being short, Shou poked at Reggie for snoring in his sleep, and everything seem to fall into place. The two boys were inseparable to a degree that they hadn’t been before. When they slept their backs were pressed against the others, legs intermingling under the covers. On good days they would answer each others sentences, and on bad they knew just the right buttons to piss the other off.
For a while Reggie seemed to get a little better. Both boys were being homeschooled at this point so that Reggie wouldn’t fall behind and no one would question Shou’s unique features. When Reggie felt up to it, his parents would even let him attend the martial art’s classes Reggie’s father taught. The same lessons that Shousuke never missed. When his partner was ill Shousuke moved. Keeping busy kept his mind off the sickly tint his brother had taken, and the racking coughs that would steal the very life out of him. He practiced martial arts, his singing, dancing, and even Poke’mon moves. As often as he possibly could he did these in the same room as Reggie so that the other wouldn’t feel left out.
One morning Shousuke felt small hands shaking his shoulder. He remembered groaning and rolling over, only to notice just how much smaller Reggie was. Somewhere in the night he had grown again, and this time evolved into Wigglytuff as well. The change further distressed his parents, who were already at the end of their rope. It was hard enough feeding two growing boys without worrying over bills and mortgage payments. With this change Reggie wasn’t as accepting as he had been. Although he never openingly said anything about it, the dynamic had changed. Now that he was the smaller, weaker one Shousuke had begun carrying him from room to room like an attendant. It bothered Reggie, and when he finally asked Shou if he felt like a servant, the teen remembered answering, “It’s just what you do for love.”
At night Shousuke would no longer sleep with his back to Reggie’s. Magnemite sheets were traded for white, and little Voltorb pj’s became hospital gowns. To keep his parents from worrying, Shousuke would run as many errands as they asked of him and when they were too tired to stay with Reggie he would. Very rarely in those last days did Reggie’s parents ask for Shousuke when they were in the room as a family. He would sit outside the room in a chair, his head buried in his hands as Reggie’s mother’s cries echoed in the hall.
His transformations had seemed like curses, but now he knew they were needed. If Shousuke hadn’t been able to carry Reggie as he danced around the room the boy would have been treated like a pariah until the moment he died. It was because of Shousuke that Reggie went outside, felt the grass under his toes, and knew song before he passed.
These days Shousuke felt smiles when he looked the photo instead of the pain of loss. His heart was lifted just knowing that someone had cared for him enough to call for him when his final time was near. Reggie had reached out his hand one final time, and Shousuke hadn’t failed to take it. That bond wouldn’t have been made without his change, and Shousuke would be thankful for it until he passed.
Many things had changed since then. Shou had made new friends, lived in a dozen places, and now had a steady job he was devoted to. Tilting his head back, he began to sing a low, sad melody; the same one that had had sung at Reggie’s funeral.
His friends would never know of the life he lived before this one, and it was better that way. That part of Shousuke had died with Reggie. In a selfish way he didn’t want to share it with anyone else, even if it might have lightened his burden.
