Eyphah had just recently returned to Eowyn after his meeting with Rhazes, a meeting that had helped him to gain a whole new power. He had been planning to go straight home, wanting to show off his new form to his mother, clan, and student... but something distracted him as per usual. There was the wonderful scent in the air that spoke of a recent battle, something that he just couldn't resist. The Drakeinian gazed over the battlefield, his tail swishing from side to side behind him, his lips pulling back into a smirk, "Ohhhh, yes, how wonderful!" He purred.
It seemed that this had been a particularly brutal battle, which was of course the best sort, and there were plenty of bodies laying about. Trotting forward he found himself taking it all in, wondering if there just weren't any survivors this go around. A battle to the last man, a foolish and prideful way to go, but he was all for this sort of battle because he was the one that won out in the end. After a quick scan of the battle, making sure that nobody was still moving, he set to work picking through the battlefield. He would take any coin they might have on them, any treasures that interested him, and finally he had to figure out which of these tasty morsels that he'd be taking with him. He'd really love a good Orderite, they were his favorite, and he couldn't wait to get a nice stew going for dinner.
From time to time the Diabi would pause, looking around the area, before returning to what he was doing. Best that he did this quickly, carefully, and cautiously, not wanting to get bothered by any foolish two-legs that would try to chase him away from the prizes he had found thus far.
"Easy, easy." Erionda commanded of the Hastar under her. She could feel the beasts muscles twitch and clench as they moved forward. Above her both Lanzecki and Uassae swirled about relaying what they could see to their bonded partner on the sandy ground below.
Looks messy. Lanzecki drawled lazily through the bond. His eyes catching on several multi colored feathers strewn about the sand. Blood absorbed into the tips and ends, dotting out their beauty.
Looks like a normal battle to me. Between the ever stupid black holes and the filthy blood thirsty birds.
Erionda twitched. She hadn't heard that term from Uassae before. However she had heard them from some of the strange Drakein that frequented the area. Including the strange green one who claimed to have met her parents.
Now wasn't the time to dwindle on those thoughts. Pulling on the reigns of her Hastar Erionda's eyes narrowed as she approached the battle ground. Another day and another sift through. The only reason she had come to the field was in search of orbs, coins, and to make sure Killians young cousin wasn't listed among the dead here. The small girl should never be involved in battle. At least, according to Erionda.
Sighing Rio kicked her leg over the Haster once they had stopped. Shifting closer to the first of the dead bodies Uassae entered her mind again. Watch yourself. Looks like some strange creature off to the left. Doesn't look friendly. Do you think it's what killed everyone.
I doubt it. Erionda replied. Her missmatched eyes flashed in the warned direction. The figure looked oddly familiar. Like the one she had taken instructions from before to fetch strange materials from Soudul. Could this be a brother? A friend? Something akin to the strange abominations she had seen down in the tunnels when she was held captive by Alpha and Beta. She was aware Beta had escaped. Was that one of it's cursed ofspring?
Erionda's feet scuffed in the sand as she drew out her long sword from the shieth on her back. Her body crouching low as she pulled her shield into place. "I'm not taking any chances. If I attack first, it wont have the chance to take me back to that hole!" Erionda shouted in a whispering form. Her feet pushing herself forward as she moved to attack the strange being in front of her. A light near white blue flame burst to life around her sword.
