It was raining outside at the time. Foxx was sitting just inside an awning near the clinic, on the steps, waiting. He had arrived a bit early for his appointment, and had about two hours to kill. Okay, so he had arrived a whole hell of a lot early. He had a tendency to do that, loose track of time.

The rain was fun to watch, though, as he looked up and across the yard at the drops falling hard and fast to the ground, where they splashed in brilliant succession, making the most lovely sound... And the thunder coming in over it all made the best of Nature to give him a perfect orchestration of the weather. It was days like this he lived for - even if he'd been inside, he would have been listening to this brilliance.

It almost made him forget why he was here, and he guessed that was kind of the point. Also? It made him feel like drawing. He took his sketchbook out of his backpack, and opened to a fresh page, pondering on what it was he should draw. He could work on that anime-character he had yet to nail.. but... What about.... Well, he didn't exactly have a subject in front of him to draw, so he started on just some scenery. The scenery in front of him. He was hard at work sketching before too terribly long, oblivious - or nearly - to the world around him.
