No matter your vice, no matter your budget, please come and join us here! All roleplay characters with time to spare, come in and enjoy yourselves...
((This is a thread for IN CHARCTER drinking and revelry, for characters who are waiting on others to post in their specific roleplay. There is no corolation between here and the actual storylines of such places, (unless both writers choose to carry over 'in' jokes >.>) and gives the writers something to do while they wait for others to post. There is no limit to how many characters you can bring in, only that you RP them leaving if you decide to do become inactive here. I don't want to have to scrape inactive RPCs off the bar stools and toss them out at closing time. All characters ported can use their normal formats or no format and I would appreciate it if they would post the following format at the bottom of their first post each month. And that writers with multiple characters keep characters in seperate posts, if they are playing any of the games. [color=red][size=9][b]Character Name[/b]:

We have a very well stocked bar, and on the back board behind the barkeep, is a tally board listing the strongest drinkers, and their records. Drinks are 2 Gold a piece if you choose to join the drinking competition and free if you are just drinking and shooting the breeze.
((Allow me to introduce the Drinking Game, there are two ways to play. Tabs incured by the drinking game, are more for fun then anthing, you can pay them if you like (daily chance more then covers it lol) or you can let it build up and let the barkeep harass you about it on occasion.
Way One: You post entering the bar and asking for a drink, and roll a D6 with this post. In your second post you check the chart [as seen in the spoiler] to see what you were given (by post one's D6 roll), so when you post your reaction to what you were given you roll another D6 which will tell you what your second drink was.
Way Two: You post walking in and roll a D6, with that post. You then check [on the chart in the spoiler] your roll and edit the post, accordingly, each post having the dice's roll above it.
While you drink please keep the format at the bottom of your post, to keep track of your drinking total. And quote me when you reach your limit so I can come add you to the completed list for the month.)) Posting Format

What drinks you get as of your D6 roll.
1 - A wine cooler (Some fruity, girly-drink 5 proof or less) Add 1 Drunk Point
2 - A beer (any kind you like) Add 2 Drunk Points
3 - A shot (hard liquor but a very small amount) Add 3 Drunk Points
4 - A stiff drink (hard liquor but a larger amount, a small glassful) Add 4 Drunk Points
5 - Moonshine (Garunteed to take the shine out of the moon) Add 5 Drunk Points
6 - Coffee (Black, hot and strong) Subtract 1 Drunk Point We also have various slot mechines off to the side, some of which have rather high jackpots~! It only takes 1 Gold to play!
((Allow me to introduce the Slots Game, it is similar to the Drinking Game in it's requirement that you roll dice as you post, you can use either posting method, as seen previously, and kindly quote me if you hit one of the pots, and I will get you your prize at the end of the month when the bar closes. Also, the tabs here are equally as volentary, the donations based on how much you play are always welcome but if you don't -shrug- They just add up and look impressive razz

Seems like I got the less crazy of the partners..." She said with a laugh, tapping the bar and signaling to the barkeeper that she wanted a drink, and when he pointed to the sign she shrugged, "Sure why not, sign me up." And waited for her drink, only a second before a hot black coffee came sliding down the bar to her, taking a sip she found it a bit too strong for her taste, but she might enjoy it a bit more if she weren't already sober. "Thanks..." She called to the barkeep, setting a twenty-gold piece on the counter to drink on. "So much for getting drunk, oh well... bottoms up!" She tossed back the scalding coffee and coughed slightly as it burned down her throat, "Okay, I'm not doing that again, at least not with the coffee..." Drinks: 1

She called with a smile, she had never gotten drunk before and now that she knew her life was likely to end before the end of this calendar year in the world of the writers, concequences such as liver failure, bad breath and splitting headaches seemed far less intimidating. There was promise for her discovery of inebriation in the cool bottle the bartender slid her, but once she took a sip of the lime green liquid and rolled it around on her tongue she found it was far from the harsh taste of stong alochol. Rather it was some lime and kiwi mixture of flavors that was very sweet and reminded her of ramenade from the one time her ex had dragged her to an anime convention. The carbonation made her sneeze and Krysta laughed, she might be gettimg drunk but she sure was enjoying herself. Drinks: 2

Another cold bottle came sliding down the bar and she took it, gingerly sipping only to make a face of mild disgust. She turned the bottle to glance at the red beer lable and resisted the urge to drop out of the contest if it meant drinking this swill but she wanted to see how far she could get, so with an air of resignation she pinched her nose and chugged it. She was short on air during the last few swallows but it was better then the taste when she finally got to inhale and set aside the bottle. "God, that was vile..." Drinks: 3

<Peak Fighting Condition> <Dormant: [Previously injured ankles] [Previously injured knees] [Previously injured right hip] [Previously injured left shoulder]> Praying for anything but another beer Krysta hesitantly made the motion for another drink, setting her empty bottle aside, with the other bottle and the empty mug, her drink total up to a whopping three. Another bottle came skimming down the bar and Krysta hesitated before catching sight of it's content in the dim light she noted it was a rather dark pink. Taking a sip she savored the flavor on her tongue finally deciding she could taste watermelon, strawberry, guava and passion fruit, a lovely and lush combination that sent deligthed shivers up her spine. Drinking it all down, and beginning to feel warmth travel up and down her limbs she tapped the bar for another drink, a faint blush beginning at her cheeks. Drinks: 4

<Peak Fighting Condition> <Dormant: [Previously injured ankles] [Previously injured knees] [Previously injured right hip] [Previously injured left shoulder]> Krysta set aside her second wine cooler with regret and awaited her next offering, and hoping for another wine cooler with their low alochol content and delicious flavors. An earthenware mug came sliding down the bar and Krysta picked it up and sniffed, before taking a cautious sip. The mug slammed down on the counter sploshing slightly and Krysta was startled to see the liquid didn't eat through the table as she coughed, her eyes watering. Finally managing to catch her breath she looked back at the glass and glared her watery eyes unfocused, before grabbing the mug back and slugging it back, swallowing so quickly that she almost choked, but it couldn't be worse then going slowly. Slumping forward on the table Krysta gasped for air, her eyes shut and her whole body shaking, that last one had been harsh, too harsh for her tastes but she was in it to win it, and there was no turning back. Her hand where it lay spread on the counter tapped twice a signal for another drink, but she wasn't sure she could do much more. Drinks: 5

Grinning down at David, "No thanks for the wine cooler, at least for now, I don't want to break my streak." She said slowly and deliberatly, careful not to slur her words. A steaming mug of coffee came sliding down the table and Krysta made a grab for it smiling, what had seemed so bitter and unwanted at first now felt like a ground hardening steadying solution. Guzzling the steaming liquid with gusto she tapped the bar again, hoping for another. Drinks: 6

For a first time drinker she wasn't doing so badly, but she wasn't far from the end either. She waved her hand and a wine cooler came sliding down the bar, she wasn't sure if it was the one David had bought her or the barkeeper had simply tossed her another, grinning, regardless Krysta nursed it down, hoping the slightly alocholic taste of pineapple and lemon would somehow sober her up, but she only slipped closer to her limit. The taste of pineapple still sweet on her lips she hoped for another tasty drink to at least go out on a good note. A steaming mug made it's way down the bar and Krysta glanced up at the barkeep, his face impassible, but she suspected he was rather enjoying tossing her back and forth between done and sobering. Logic told her that she had already had too much, but coffee in her system told her she could still have one more, or maybe more then one. Deciding to ignore the little voice in the back of her head telling her that this was a bad idea, Krysta grasped the tiny shot glass and soluted the barkeep wryly before tossing it back feeling her brain seem to sink and then swim around inside her head. No matter what had come before, she was done now. Drinks: 9
