Sacred Priestess Kikyo ~Nel~
"Lady Nelia? No, I'm just Nel." The girl tilted her head to the side in confusion. "Or do you mean the Goddess? You mean I'll get to meet her?" She smiled wide. "That would be wonderful! I'll be able to tell Mommy about it when I get back home!" She then looked around her. "All I know before I fell asleep is that we were supposed to go into the Tower to get to Ce Palym really quick."Hallie Neko-chan I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ "Thank you," Hikari said, sheepishly accepting the Teru's help as she stood. She saw the worried expression on Rhaplanca's face as she studied Nel. "To be honest, Rhaplanca, we were shocked, too. But Lady Nelia said she didn't recall travelling with us. Nel here has been with us for quite awhile. It's like she's a whole other person." Hikari gasped. "I wonder if I did something to her with that Hymn I sang..." She hung her head. "If that's the case, no matter what I do it'll never make up for it. If her memories are completely sealed..." She shook her head. "Sorry, but I can't worry about that right now! Melody is in trouble! Gannon's right, we have to get a move on!" She ran ahead to the terminal by the door, frowning at it. "I don't think it's going to react to me. Rinna, Rhaplanca, can one of you open it?" My Song is a Shining Light
Together We Shall All Unify in Radiance Reyvateil_Shurelia Rhaplanca Rhaplanca stared dumbfounded at Nel. She barely registered Hikari's words out of shock. She knew how she should feel about this situation, but to her own guilt and repulse she was relieved that her isolation was prolonged. But Rhemi.. Conflicting inner emotions were tearing her apart.
"I'll get it," she muttered as she walked up to the door, "[I implore you to open so we may serve the Goddess]," the door to the outside gave way to Rhaplanca's plea.Hallie Neko-chan I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ Hikari stared over at Rhaplanca with a solemn expression. She remembered what Rhaplanca had told her back when they first had met about the Life Giver. The Eternal Singer. With Nelia there, of course Rhaplanca was probably thinking forward to when she would have to replace the current Life Giver. She could see it in the other girl's eyes.
Rhaplanca didn't want to do it. She didn't want to be alone, just like Hikari didn't want to be alone. Their prisons were both different, and yet identical at the same time. The end result was the same. Hikari placed a hand on Rhaplanca's shoulder and stopped her. "[If that time comes... the time you told me about,]" she started in Hymmnos, but speaking cryptically enough so that even if Gannon was listening in, he wouldn't know what she meant, "[I want to stay and sing with you. No matter what. Forever.]" She only hoped that Rhaplanca knew what she meant, before turning to nod at everyone else and stepping out of the Tower and into the light. My Song is a Shining Light

I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ She sighed, wishing that she wasn't so weak. If only she were stronger, she could stay with Rhaplanca and keep her from being lonely. Hikari changed her mind, a new idea coming. "[Then, if I can't stay with you forever, I'll stay with you until the end.]" With a nod, she added, switching back to the universal language, "Let's do our best!"
It was such a relief to be outside again. Certainly, the lightning flashed around them, but it didn't bother Hikari too much. She rather liked it. And, a grin spread across her face when she saw the edge of the Tower. "Yes!" She ran to the edge and dove, almost looking as though she were going to fall off, but then simply hanging part of her front end off of the side of the Tower, getting an up close and personal view of the Sea of Death below. "It's so amazing!" She breathed, overwhelmed with excitement. "I wish that I could fly... I want to see everything!" She slowly pulled herself back, reluctant to leave the excellent view but reminding herself that there was no time for it. She stood to face the others and started up the last few meters to reach Ce Palym. My Song is a Shining Light

Gannon…
Gannon followed Hikari to the door, silently listening to the conversation she had with Rhaplanca. He wasn't exactly sure what they were talking about, but he didn't like the sound of it at all. He cast a quick glance at Ishira. It was obvious that the other Teru didn't have a clue about what was going on. He slowed his pace to match Ishira's. "Believe me, ya dun wanna know." He switched to the Teru language to keep the Reyvateils from hearing. He was about to say more, but then Hikari bolted for the edge of the tower. The hell is she thinking!? He wasn't worried that she would try and jump off, but with how clumsy she had been in the past... Gannon was ready to dive off the side to catch her if he needed, but the situation seemed to resolve itself. She apparently just wanted to look off the side of the tower. The Teru nodded a bit to himself before turning his attention back to Ishira.

"Ah I can't wait to get out of this town." Isis said to her self as she was sipping her thrid drank at the bar in the inn of Ce Palym "if only i could find someone to gard it would be so much easier to get out of here. Espically since...it's no use thinking about...Ah what good will it do now.

Nereus Nereus walk with the group outside the tower and saw Hikari running to the edge, he wanted to do the same thing but decided against it. It took him a while to realize that there was lightning flashing around them. Nereus close his eyes for a mere moment to feel the breeze. Out of the blue he began to ponder, It's funny, ever since leaving Behdla, I haven't heard of that sonic like noise. What a relief...

~Nel~ When Hikari ran to the edge, Nel's heart nearly jumped to her throat. She stayed near the Tower, not liking the view of down below nearly as much as the Third-Generation seemed to be liking it. When she finally got up and continued walking, she let out a breath in relief. Nel didn't like being on the edge of a cliff, and she didn't like her friends being on the edge of a cliff either.

The soldiers began clearing rooms in the Inn. They burst through the door that lead to the bar and leveled their weapons at the only two people in side. It was clear that they would use lethal force if their orders were not followed. "Get down on the ground! Now!" The soldiers shouted at the bartender and Isis. The middle aged bartender responded instantly by laying down on the ground with his hands away from his body. Three other soldiers entered the room and began sweeping for anyone who might have been hiding. After a few moments, a second signal was sent to her bracelet, letting her know that the two Teru were headed in their direction and her men were in place. She stepped out into the wide hallway, blocking Melody and Zek's path. By now, the tunnels behind them would be filled with her soldiers. It was perfect. They were trapped like rats, and there was nothing they could do! She couldn't help but giggle to herself. It was so good. She couldn't wait to see the look on that Teru b***h's face.

So they do know we're in here... Melody thought. I don't know what else to do. Unless I use my illusion spells? She closed her eyes and concentrated. When she had her magic at the ready, she grabbed Zek's hand and ran. As soon as the end of the tunnel was in view, she saw someone standing there and knew immediately who it had to be. "Illusory Dance!" An explosion of imaginary fire blasted the Reyvateil right in the face and Melody only hoped that she could slip by with Zek in the distraction. She quickly ran by, silently praying to the Goddess to be able to slip through and for some assistance from somewhere to arrive. Someone, anyone, please help! Brother... Resonance!

"Oh, so predictable." The Reyvateil began singing. The words flowed from her with frightening speed. [Feeling no remorse, I dispell your magic and banish your power to the four winds!] She pointed a finger in the general direction of the Teru woman and unleashed her song, enjoying the look on her face as the spell that she was counting on melted away like ice in the rain. How fitting... "Oh, my dear Melody. Aren't you happy to see me?" She spoke in a cheerful manner as the soldiers behind her closed ranks and leveled their weapons at the fleeing couple. "After all the trouble I went through to get here, how could you just run away?"

-Zek-
The exhausted Teru stumbled along with Melody as they headed down the tunnels. "We gotta hurry... They're coming..." He repeated himself over and over as they raced toward the exit. His mind was dulled from the constant running. He didn't even notice the sound of troops behind them, nor did he see the woman standing in their way. When Tessia finally spoke, all he could do is stand there as his brain tried to wrap itself around the situation.

Gannon…
Gannon picked up his speed a bit. They would be within sight of the Inn in minutes. He couldn't help but be worried. It was true that they had cut through the tower, but what if they moved quicker than he predicted? "..." Before he realized it, he had broken into a run. You'd better be safe...

The young Teru woman took a step back, pushing Zek behind her. She knew that he was completely exhausted and rambling. Between the two of them, she knew for certain that she was the more powerful of them both right now, and she wanted to do whatever she could to protect her friend. She was terrified, but she set her jaw in grim determination as she glared at the woman before her. "If you were actually the Tessia I know and love, I would have been delighted to see you," she responded quietly. "But... Tessia is gone, and you're not her. Not if you could do these things!"

--Aaron Leon Cecil--
By the time Aaron had made his way outside of the Tower, he saw that Hikari had chosen to dangle herself over the edge. I really wish she didn't do stuff like that, he thought to himself in dismay. He remembered back as a little girl she used to climb as far up into the tree as she could, and he even remembered her falling out of one when he hadn't been paying close enough attention. He sighed with a shake of his head when he saw her get up and start climbing the Tower. He turned back to the half-Teru beside him. "Take my hand," he told her encouragingly, offering his hand with a small smile.
