It seems with the Insanity Titan business, disappearance of Merlin, and all around abuse of Deus Ex, the once pristine sands on the most northern tip of the beach, where all the water washes up to, has become something of a junkyard. Almost all the good stuff is gone too, because after word got in there was a junkyard full of interesting s**t, the looters came in first. But, if anyone wants to try their luck, they can always give it a shot, just be careful of any threats that lurk nearby.

OOC: BEACH SCAVENGING

BEACH SCAVENGING

- Your Hunter is allowed to beach scavenge once every three (OOC) days if you are a trainee, once every two days if you are intermediate, and once a day if you are a full Hunter. Simply post IC rolls below. You can interact with anyone you see currently in the thread. So scavenge, rp it out, and then walk out with your loot. All loot is purely for IC purposes only! You can only pick up one thing at a time, whatever it is, as the Insanity that lurks nearby is watching you and you don't want to have the whole area desecrated.
- These items you find are IC and permanent. You can add it to your room collection/ etc etc as you wish, as right now leaving Deus is not an option. This can add flavour to your rps as well!
- You are free to ICly trade items with others in rps (or sell/ barter) as you wish in RPS or in this thread.

  • gaia_star STEP 1: - Roll a 100-sided dice and match your result

  • gaia_star STEP 2: - RP IT OUT

  • gaia_star STEP 3: SUCCESS

  • gaia_star STEP 4: EDIT YOUR JOURNAL POST. MAKE AN AREA AND POST IN QUOTES YOUR CURRENTLY OWNED ITEMS. Once again all these are tradable so when you do just edit your journal/dorm post as you need.
*NOTE these items listed are considered items that are normally not easily unobtainable anywhere else. If it doesn't make sense for your Hunter to have it otherwise, such as if they were a trainee but somehow found booze despite not having portal access, this is a good chance for them to discover it icly. It also makes a great barter system! OF course you can barter other items too, these are just fun ones that are not as easily obtainable but somewhat useful.
    - YOU MAY FIND MULTIPLES OF THESE ITEMS

With a short sleeved shirt, rubber gloves, and sunscreen everywhere, Konstantin promptly made his way down to the beach, intent on being resourceful.

Fortunately, he saw something sticking out of the sand.

Lucky had picked a particularly bad patch of sand to explore. Maybe it was because he was keeping a good healthy distance between himself and the ocean. Just in case...

Ultimately he found nothing.

Taym had a lot of experience with this.

Too much experience. Rooting around in the garbage for vital supplies and a nicotine fix felt uncomfortably familiar, so he didn't try very hard.

He stood around for a bit and glumly watched everyone else digging around like rats, before deciding to try some other time when the beach was less... populated. With people watching. Even if they were doing the same thing.

There were things in the sand, as much as he heard heard going around the island. So, Milo followed suit and decided to do his own scavenging - because, why not really. Useful items might have been found, either for himself or for later trade maybe.

His spot of ground didn't turn up anything really exciting though. Soap and a seashell, well soap would be nice. The seashell, well it just kind of reminded him of home.

Leon was starting to get tired of the water, the stuff that floated in and onto the rocky shore that clung to the sand.

It was time for a good old fashioned non runic induced cleanup. One that involved a long staff with a sharpened pointy metal spoke at one end for litter. "Time to go be productive" Spotting the ever so careful Konstantin and his........ gear, Leon could only shake his head. "This is not the time to use a rubber, Konstant." he replied, using the informal nickname he had for the other male, and poking at the sand lumps without reserve with the skewer.

He was sure to find something eventually, it might even be alive.

Unfortunately he didn't find much, some seemed to be having a better day then him. All he got was a bar of soap and seashell, lame.

Prizes. That was what Stormy told herself when she went to go look at the beach and see what she could see near the sea. A bar of soap and a shiny seashell made great consolation prizes, though!

Mostly because one could never have enough soap to use while on lockdown. =n=

Cleaning up the beach was not his idea of fun. Nor did Jack find it funny that his scavenging only elicited a few meager items. Ah well. Cleanliness was next to godliness after all . . .

Dakota liked the beach, so when he saw other hunters rummaging around, he moseyed his away on over and looked around.

"AH. SOAP!!!" Dakota picked it up like it was the jewel of the sea.
