Fortunately, however, he managed to dodge the burning hot lava and continued pleasantly on his way to Potions class.

Race: Magmamonster - MONSTER OF THE VOLCANOES
Personality: Efreet is a bit of a troublemaker, he can't help but get involved in anything remotely mischievous. He's fairly optimistic and likes to look on the bright-side of things but struggles with keeping a lid on his temper. Like his body temperature he's got a bit of a fire within and has a tendency to erupt like a volcano when upset. He isn't very good with his words though and he'll often blur words together when excited or angry. He's got a fondness for the undead and just doesn't understand why they won't let him hug them. He just wants to show his love!
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? He was sent to the academy because his volcano has become dormant from the lack of fear. It is his, and his family's, goal to gather enough fear to bring back the ferocity of his home.

Natural Ability:
Magma Shift - Similar to a werebeing's ability to shape shift. Magmamonsters have the natural ability to shift into varying forms of magma. They can solidify parts of their body like cooled magma or liquify parts like freeflowing magma.
FEAR Ability:
Hot Lava Monster(Headlights) - Efreet's fear allows him to increase the ground temperature in a 10ft radius. The temperature can roughly be compared to that of a kitchen burner once it's hit it's high temperature. This heat can be diluted by objects on the ground or footwear. The primary purpose is to decrease an opponent's ability to attack.

What is a Magmamonster?
Simply put, magmamonsters are creatures of the volcano. They are created during the birth of a volcano, bubbling up from the magma that initially pours out into the sea. As all monsters, they thrive off off FEAR to keep the fire fueling the volcano going. When FEAR is absent then their volcanoes go dormant and they're left fretting whether or not it will be active once again.
