It was not long after his ordeal near the cliffs that Sarviur saw it - a strange little creature, not a shadow, but grey and blue and so, so frightening. He did not know why, but he swung at it quite wildly - that blue part was certainly not a core, and it certainly did not beat! Feeling massively disappointed in her performance with the gliders, Annabelle decided maybe some exploration in a place she knew a little better would lift her spirits. Granted, she did choose the place that looked a little... Unkept, at least more so than compared to the rest of the ruins. But at least it wasn't long until she heard one of those odd little monster things from before. Only this time, there was someone else too...
"Ah! I'll help!" She shouted at the other figure, glad to see another blue glow. But by help, she meant trip on the way over and not even get close to hitting the creature.

Another one of these monitor monsters?! How many of them were walking around? It attacked someone else and they were wildly flailing. She furrowed her eyebrows and made her way over there to punch it. Even up so close, she missed it. (what a failure!) She took a hit from the monster instead of saving the other being.

He felt blue hearts thrumming behind him and turned and smiled. O-oh! There were others, and they were...uh...trying to help Sarviur beat them, so that must have meant he was doing the right thing. "Hello!" he sang, before realizing that the...thing...was hitting them, too.
No, that was definitely not supposed to happen! He frowned quite emphatically and swung again, managing to, uh, actually hit it this time.

"Hi there" Eidhis replied. It never seemed to seep into her head that battles were NOT the best time for introductions and greetings. Still, it'd be rude not to reply. After the other being's punch, she swung a fast fist towards the monster and managed to land it in the side of the monitor. For once she did something right and didn't miss.

Sarviur watched her punch the monitor-monster passively and swung into action again without waiting for the third member of their party.
Anndddd...it hit! Somehow that brought him a lot of joy, the cool smack of his fist against the unnerving blue that didn't pulse or glow like any of their own hearts did.

"Woooooow! You guys are pretty good at this!" And it was true! After only a few hits, already the little thing looked ready to fall over. The girl did not want to be outshone, even if she felt really bad at this whole fightin thing, and this time tried another kick. That had worked once before and it seemed to work again. A cheer left her when she connected with the monster, a loud peal of enjoyment. "Keep going! I think it's almost down!"

Feeling very energetic despite the monster before them, Annabell decided to try her hand at leading by example. And since one good kick deserved another, she tried the same move again. After a triumphant sound of accomplishment, the girl looked back at her party members. "This thing looks ready to fall over!" She chirped with a grin.

The odd blue glow was flickering on the creature's head, its stilted words all the more unsure as it teetered on its tall legs. For a long moment the girl looked up at it, considering what to do. When it looked like it might just fall over right there, she decided she didn't want the chance to slip past them. If the creature ran away, it could hurt someone else! Might as well get to it now! With a grunt, she rushed the monster and pushed its large, square head hard enough to cause it to tilt over. That seemed to do it for the thing crashed down onto the ground with one last feeble noise, the blue flickering for a few more moments until ti went dark.

Two very small vials fell from the monster, little red dots that caught Annabell's eyes. Without a thought she picked them up and pocketed them. They might prove useful later! With a grin she turned to the two she had seen and waved at them. "Thanks for helping me with that! My name is Annabell, so if you ever need anymore help just let me know. See you around!" She chirped in a giddy voice before she turned and skipped on her merry way.

It was all Sarviur could do - to stand there and, well, gape. "Forget us - you're good!" He loped over beside Annabell and knelt to scoop a memento up for himself.
"Huh. See you around!" he added, looking down at the little red vial in his hands and forgetting to mention his own name. He had to get better at this!

Before she knew it, the monster fell. "That was great!" She said excitedly. "Thanks a bunch for the assistance!" She said as she headed over to pick up her loot. She reached in and grabbed a gold edge from the fallen beast.
