Does anybody know of any beginner sewing projects they can show me?
I have a Singer sewing machine that's been sitting there in my room and thought that it's time to put it to use!How my Grandmother taught me was she went through all her old clothes and things that needed mending I mended with the sewing machine. Then I stepped up and did small projects like cloth bracelets or headbands. Then we cut up old old clothes and made a quilt project and since then it just comes natural. You get the feel of it, just make sure you take care of your machine. Know the right needles it takes, clean up any debri that builds up from fabric and thread, oil it if it needs it, spray wd40 on the needle action work, clean up the bobbin area, and you know just simple stuff like that. My Grandmother taught me you must love the machine and take of it before you fully use it.
