Here is my application and in all honesty I set it up to be a bit longer then I needed but I didn't have the time the finish the conclusion so the ending my seem a bit rushed. This doesn't necessarily depict my character or the actions of any of the character described in the sample.
Tensuri had a long day of guarding the Kazekage even though he highly doubted that anyone except the very most powerful ninja could even pose a mild threat to A'kio. Ten as he preferred to be called pulled his mask over his face, he was part of the Sunagakure's ANBU special forces and he was the team leader of the ANBU in charge of the defense and protection of the Kazekage. His mask depicted a wolf and the rest of his body was clad in a sand colored cloak with a hood. Beneath this lies his secret arsenal of ninja tools as well as many secret weapons that the Kazekage him self had no knowledge of. Ten laughed a little to himself as he contemplated the ease of his job on most days since anyone who wished to attack a Kage would need to mount quite the offensive to even get though the borders. With Sunagakure's massive nature barrier surrounding the village and that there Kage had power that was next to the top ninjas in the world and was believed to be the most powerful of the Kazekage so far nearly no one had the kind of resources needed to make an attempt on the village.
He appeared outside A'kio's door and heard him speaking with another person, Ten decided it was best not to interrupt in less there was an emergency and only droned out most of the conversation listening only to there tone in case it became physical for one reason or another. He pulled out a clipped board and began scribbling down orders and routes as well as various jobs that he needed his men to preform for the day. Soon the other person that A'kio was speaking to left the room. It was a woman and quite the attractive one at that but Ten immediately pushed those thoughts out of his mind and entered A'kio's office without much of a sound. "Village has had it's daily sweep and a constant overlapping guard watch has been put in place" he said. A'kio then congratulated him on his good work leading the special forces for the guard duty and finished by asking Ten to train a few Genin for a while since they where short on available Jounin and someone like Ten would be a great temporary mentor until another Jounin could fill the spot. Ten though about this and had always wanted to have his chance to train some of the talented youth of the village. "I accept" he said to A'kio who seemed relived that someone could help out in a tough time for the village when there Jounin numbers are so low.
He was given an envelope the next day with the information on his charges, Ten didn't really need A'kio to get it for him since he had access to that information already as well as many of the classified secrets of the village that the Kazekage has entrusted to him but accepted the information happily all the same. He left the room and before even looking at the file elected his second in command Erzen as the new team leader while he mentors the Genin. Erzen had shown his dedication to the village multiple times and had even saved Ten's life once. He felt that there was no one better for the job and that Ten had even considered stepping down to have Erzen take command. He left to the training grounds feeling confident that Erzen would do great, he had messenger birds deliver a letter to his charges stating to meet him at the grounds. He as expected found them all there awaiting there new sensei's arrival.
He walked through the door and announced "Hello my name is Tensuri Mokoto and I'll be your sensei for the time being" he said as one of them kept looking at something in puzzlement. What he was looking at was his prank trap he had laid that hadn't engaged for some reason or another, in fact Ten had thrown a very thin needle through one of the mechanisms on his way in but he didn't want to let him on to that fact just yet. "You may call me Ten or Sensei for now, I am a Member of Sunagakure's ANBU special forces and I am going to make you three the elite of you class" he said with a grin still hidden by his mask. He lifted his hand to his mask and almost removed it but decided not to and to make a bit of a game out of it. "We are going to have a little game test so that I can get a feeling for your ability's but after you tell me your names and your greatest aspiration" he said to his students.
The first a little with pig tails in her blonde hair and freckles on her face started the introductions off with a bow "My name is Yu Theresa, and I want to be a get medical ninja and save all of the ninja that get hurt doing there missions" she said. the next a large strong looking young man with curly brown hair spoke "I'm Max Zeni and I'm going to be the next Kazekage with out a doubt" he finished and it was quite for a moment before the last one spoke this was another girl but she seemed to be overflowing with potential and confidents but she had began day dreaming and hadn't even realized it was her turn yet "oh sorry I'm Gaze Himitoa, am I would like to invent a perfect jutsu someday". "You all seem to have talent and have great goals and I believe you could be great together so the first to remove my mask will be the winner of the exercise. Max and Gaze took off as if they where expecting this to happen followed by Yu. Ten jumped back and added "And you may use as much force as you can to achieve this goal" and after saying this Max and Gaze seemed to get even more fired up.
After six hours of the three trying and failing to remove Ten's mask he told them to go home and get some rest because they where going to continue the test then and that they where going to have to work on there team work to have a chance. "These three are going to be great one day" he said at his own home before laying down and falling asleep.

It was raining. Through the darkness swift blurs dashed through the tree tops. The faint glow of the village illuminated their masks as the three stopped momentarily before they entered. They escaped the rain as they arrived at the Intelligence Division, all stepping inside as Katsu was in front of the other two. Each headed to the main office as they turned in the mission report. Katsu peered behind the man at the desk as the sun’s rays were starting to peep over the horizon. He sighed thinking at least he would get a day off to take a much needed rest. They were dismissed, each leaving for their respective homes.
Katsu opened the door to leave the building only to turn and see the secretary running to catch him. “I have a letter for you from the Hokage, you’re being assigned a new title.” She told him politely as he took off his mask for the first time, revealing his light blue eyes as they looked down at the envelope. He grinned as he turned and waved to the secretary. “Thanks, I’ll be seeing you around.” He replied as he shut the door to return to his home. She blinked as she stood in the doorway and sighed. “Doesn’t he know he’s leaving the intelligence division… He won’t get to see me much anymore…” she said to herself as she turned to return back to her desk.
Katsu returned home as he undressed and jumped into the shower. I was a long mission and he was just now getting to go to sleep at seven in the morning. He put on clean slacks as he plopped down onto his bed and opened the letter. His eyes scanned the words as his expression changed from content to confused in a matter of seconds. He laid the paper down on his chest as he glanced around before picking the paper back up and reading it again. All was quiet in the apartment until a loud “WHAT?!? IS THIS A JOKE?” roared from Katsu’s bedroom. His title was changing alright, but it wasn’t the one he was expecting. He slammed his head down onto his pillow as he dropped the letter in the floor. Is she joking with me? She’s moving me from the intel division to become a genin squad leader? What the hell… He thought as he was slightly hurt on the gesture. He was to meet with her tomorrow…Well today now as he rolled over to get a few hours of sleep…
[Fast Forward] Katsu didn’t dream nor sleep well. He was still lost on the new title. He had to run by and turn in his badge for the intelligence division before meeting with the Hokage today. Not to mention he was now in charge of three kids. He sat up in his bed as he glanced at the letter then his closet. She better not expect me to wear that bulky jacket all the chunnin and jounin wear…I can’t reach my full speed wearing it…. He thought as he instead put on black slacks, a V- neck shirt and a light-green jacket that vaguely resembled the normal vest. He glanced at himself in the mirror and looked for a moment. He wasn’t used to see himself in a normal outfit for missions as he was so used to wearing his anbu outfit. He grabbed his old headband, holding it as he determined where to put it. This will work… He though as he tied the headband around his left thigh, displaying the Konoha’s leaf symbol. Letting out a huge sigh, Katsu turned and headed out to the streets of Konoha.
It was fairly late as most people were eating lunch at this point of the day. Katsu grabbed a sweet bun from his kitchen before he left, but he would definitely need food soon with his high metabolism. He walked swiftly through the streets as he made a beeline for the intelligence division. He opened the door and looked at the Secretary. She gave him a light grin as he walked up and gave her his anbu badge. “I see you’ve taken to the news fairly good. Honestly, I imagined you a lot angrier.” She spoke to him as she took the badge and turn to put it in his file.
He huffed as he glanced up the stairs up to the meeting rooms. He wouldn’t be setting foot in there again for a while, quickly shaking off the thought. “Yeah, I was actually mad, but I’ve gotten over it, someone has to watch over the genin.” He said bluntly as she giggled at his comment. “Think of it this way, you are now in charge of three future shinobi. You’ll be shaping them for what they will become, helping them grow and become stronger!” She said brightly as he grinned at her. She blushed lightly as he turned to leave. “Thanks Shina-chan, you always know how to make me feel better about things.” He said to her as he opened the door, waving goodbye as he turned and headed back out into the streets.
Back on the streets Katsu didn’t waste too much time heading over to Miss Hokage’s office. He didn’t really know what to expect or what the three kids would be like. You watch…I’ll get three brats…. He thought to himself as he rubbed his head. He turned and started walking up the stairs as he turned to see some genin already heading down from her office. He glanced at them as they walked by. They seemed too excited to take notice in Katsu as they talked about missions and new jutsu. Heh…I remember when I was just like them… He thought as he had reached her door, knocking before entering. He walked in as he noticed her gathering papers on her desk. “Good morning Miss Hokage-sama, aren’t you looking lovely as ever.” He said in a peachy tone as he walked up to the front of her desk, displaying his charming smile as he awaited for her response.

Example:
The soft wind whistled through the village as a lone woman sat up against a wall on the top of the tallest building, her coal black hair wavered in the wind as she snored softly. It was apparent that she was not awake at the current time; however that did not bother the woman. Her cheeks were stained with red fang like tattoos on each of her soft cheeks. By her side lay a large grey almost white colored wolf, nuzzling it’s snout into his master’s hand in an attempt to wake her up, however the wolf could clearly see that his master was not going to going to awaken with his futile attempts. A Low growl escaped his lips as he grew agitated with the way she had waved him off and rolled onto her side, her whole body now on the ground as she snoozed gently, her chest rising and falling with each breath. The wolf rolled his eyes at his Master’s childish action and tugged on her hair with his teeth, only managing to cause her to lie on her back and stir slightly. Baring his teeth, the corners of his mouth tugged into what seemed to look close to what a smile would look like, rolling his beady black eyes at her. Turning around he flicked his master with his tail, causing her to sputter and roll over once again. Turning back to face her, he exhaled loudly, sounding close to what a sigh would sound like as he shook his head disapprovingly at his Master. Really, she was so difficult sometimes. Opening his mouth he prepared at howl at her, in order to cause her to awaken faster, she was already late as it was to see what her students were like and with her sleeping habits, the wolf doubted that she’d meet them at this rate.
Taking a breath in from his nose he prepared to give out a throat howl into the woman’s ear. Immediately, as if she had sense he were about to do something she would hate, her eye snapped open to reveal the most unique shade of amber orbs one had ever seen. They were like a mix of crimson and gold, which glimmered when she would stare at someone for longer than an hour, unblinking. Getting up, she got in a sitting position, tilting her head towards the wolf’s direction as he had been seconds from howling into her ear, her hand snapped his snout shut and gave him the most threatening glare she could muster up. "You even think about doing that Akumu and I’ll chop off your bleep, including your bleep and you’ll never have any pups, then I’ll go and feed them to the cats," she growled, causing the wolf, twice as big as her to whimper and back away from his irritated master. Akumu pouted in some sorts as he narrowed his eyes at his Master who had stretched her arms over her head, letting out a loud yawn as she tried to become more awake. Deciding that after five minutes, she was now less likely to chop off his privates, he reapproached her and nuzzled at her side in order to get her attention, then tilted his head towards the Kazekage’s office, as if to tell her that she was going to be late to meet with him and her squad. The woman cursed under her breath, realizing why Akumu had been so desperate to awaken her, even at the risk of losing what made him a man.
Walking to the edge of the rooftop, she stared down at the ground, in order to access whether it was worth being late enough to the office just to climb down the stairs or just jump off the roof top. Akumu sighed at his Master’s actions and whacked her thigh with his tail, causing her to hiss in not only pain, but surprise as well before she glared at him again. Tilting his head towards the rooftops he suggested that they took the roof tops to the Kazekage’s office. "Why didn’t I think of that? It was pretty darn obvious, thanks boy," she questioned herself, crouching down in order to scratch the back of his head. Akumu panted in delight then realized she was wasting time and growled at her, erupting from his mouth with a deep sound as if he were telling her off for getting distracted to get her a** to the Kazekage’s office. The woman pouted and sighed, turning her body to the roof tops as she jumped across each roof, reaching the Kazekage’s office in no time at all to find that she was already late. Behind her Akumu saw that she was late already as well, noticing that there were three genin in an orderly line staring at her. The woman waved her hand at the three genin sheepishly as she opened the window and stepped in. "Sorry I was late! I was helping an old lady carry her shopping bags home and ended up having some tea with her, because she had asked me to and I couldn’t just tell her no," she lied sheepishly, scratching the back of her head, which was mussed up from sleeping not only that, but her clothes were wrinkled from rolling around in her sleep as well.
The Kazekage turned to her with a quirked brow, obviously already having caught her red handed in her lie and shook his head. "So I take it you were taking a nap again Setsuka?" she Kazekage questioned, having already known the answer. Setsuka, the twenty-two year old woman who had stood before the Kazekage at five ft. zero inches tall with a lean, curvaceous body had lowered her head in shame. The first time she was meeting her students and she was already being told off by him in the first three minutes of appearing in the room. Puffing a cheek out she sighed, and nodded her head in shame as she heard her students snigger among themselves. Raising her head she stood tall, or however tall she could be at that height and glared at the three, causing them to choke on their own breath in fear and stop, turning to look anywhere but at the woman who was sending kill signals towards them, mentally daring them to laugh at her again. The Kazekage shook his head at Setsuka’s actions and chuckled, soon joined by a throaty laugh from Akumu who had reappeared at her side once again. As if just noticing the wolf beside Setsuka, the genin stared in wonder and amazement as they began to crowd Akumu, pulling and tugging on his fur, his tail, his ears and even his bleep. Akumu hissed at the teens, however they didn’t seem to notice it, continuing to tug at his limbs.
Setsuka snorted under her breath at the sight of Akumu being toyed with, to his complete and utter horror, Setsuka giggled under her breath at the look of fear and begging he gave Setsuka to help him, however she ignored it. Setsuka felt that Akumu deserved it after he had been laughing at her being scolded by the Kazekage. Speaking of which, he had been starting at her intently ever since she had entered. Turning her attention to the Kazekage, she saw his shake his head and sigh. "Setsuka, you’re a Jounin, you need to start taking your responsibilities seriously," he started off, crossing his arms over his chest, as he bore his eyes into her soul, "I mean really? Helping an old lady carry her groceries? If you’re going to lie to me, at least make it believable and stop looking like a child caught stealing candy," The Kazekage grinned at her teasingly as she huffed and puffed out her cheeks, narrowing her eyes at him. Crossing her arms over her chest she chose to ignore him, however it wasn’t long until he started laughing at her childish actions. Stupid Kazekage. . . you’re only three years older than me, what right does that give you to laugh at me? I’m just sleepy, really sleepy, a lot of the time, Setsuka had thought to herself bitterly. No matter how long she’d known the Kazekage, it seemed like he’d never let up on a chance to tease her no matter what it was.
"Stupid butt face. . ." Setsuka had mumbled under her breath bitterly as the Kazekage had stopped laughing to stare at her intensely, once again with narrowed eyes. "What was that?" he had questioned her in a low, almost deadly warning voice. Setsuka inhaled sharply, backing away from the Kazekage in fear as he raised a brow at her actions. Clearing her throat she patted her outfit down and ran her fingers through her rain, taming her limp, coal black hair. "Nothing, nothing at all Kazekage-dono," Setsuka had said coolly with a smirk, trying to cover up her nervousness, with fake confidence and mischievousness. Setsuka had secretly hoped that he wouldn't notice that she had just insulted him in his own office in his own village. That was a first for her. Sure she went a little overboard when she was in the comfort of her own home ranting about how much of an a** he was when he teased her, but never had she slipped up with what she was thinking and what she was saying. She kept her thoughts private and remained professional. "Anyway! I’m just going to grab the kids and start seeing whether they’re worthy!" She stated, rather flustered and uneasy as she grabbed each of the kids by the collar of their shirts and dragged them out of the room, Akumu following soon after as she used the door this time instead of the window. Watching Setsuka exit the room, the Kazekage shook his head with a chuckle as he watched her.
Really it’s too easy for me to tease you when you get nervous like that. . He had thought to himself, his hand on the door before he had closed it shut. Already on the outside of the building, Setsuka had been dragging her three students who had been complaining the whole way down the steps, but the stern look that Akumu had given them had seemed to keep them quiet enough for now. Finally on level ground, she let them go and watched them stumble, before they stilled and stood tall. Staring at her students, the girls were either around her height or taller than her and the only boy in the group was definitely taller than her. "Stand in a straight line!" She had ordered as she paced back and forth in front of them, waiting for them to do as she had said, however they did nothing but look away from her and pretend like they hadn't heard her orders. Of all teams, I had to be stuck with the brattiest? Thanks A'kio, really . . thanks. . She had thought to herself as she ran her fingers through her coal black hair in irritation. Thus started the Setsuka's new status as a babysitter for a bunch of brats, but that didn't matter since she was going to show them who was the boss, sooner or later.

Takumi was quickly jumping from branch to branch. He was sent o. n a mission by the Mizukage. He was directed to go and capture a potential enemy spy. This spy was part of the Mizukage's inner circle. The inner circle was where the Mizukage shared all of the information that he knew. He kept some things to himself and what he thought that he could share he told to his inner circle. Everyone except for the spy thought that the spy was a spy. Information was being leaked and the potential spy barely ever showed up for most of the meetings.
Takumi was told that the spy was residing in the outskirts of the village. When Takumi arrived he could barely make out the spy. Due to the hard pouring rain. He climbed down from his tree and tried to get a better look of the spy. He quickly stopped and jumped into a nearby conversation, when he noticed that the spy was also in a conversation. The man that the spy was talking to had on a straw hat so Takumi couldn't see his face. But the coat said it all. Akatsuki. The Mizukage was right and this made Takumi smile. There was never a moment when he was wrong.
After getting over his moment Takumi started hearing bits and pieces of their conversation." The attack will take place at............. There will be teams located here.............Wait there's someone listening to us?? Takumi?? Is that you??" That's when Takumi looked up to see that the spy and the Akatsuki member were both staring at him. Takumi looked a bit shocked. They started to approach him. That's when Takumi took off into the trees. He could hear there foot steps close behind him. The spy's name was Bob. Takumi could still not make out who the Akatsuki member was. He shrugged it off. Everything was going as planned for him.
After going straight for awhile with the two ninjas behind him Takumi took a hard left and quickly made some water clones. He put his hands together to form the necessary signs and out of smoke there came about 7 clones. They all broke into different directions stopping just above the two ninja. Then in unison they all said." Bob and Akatsuki member give up now or we will be forced to cause harm upon the. You are being arrested in the name of the Mizukage and I shall hereby carry out his will." The Akatsuki member and Bob looked at each other then began to laugh. After rolling around for a bit they both got serious once more and got into a battling stance. Takumi and his clones also got into a battling stance. Once again in unison they all said." Okay don't say I didn't warn you." After saying this all the clones charged Bob. But just as they were about to punch him the Akatsuki member jumped in the way and tried to grab one of them. This Takumi smile. In the blink of an eye the clones and Takumi all disappeared with the rain. They would appear in front of the two ninjas in a punching motion but would disappear a second after that without sending the rest of the attack.
Takumi was only playing with them but when he actually went for the attack. He had appeared I back of them and sent a kick to both of their spines. Launching them in the air. While in the air two of Takumi's clones made hand signs to produce to water sharks from the rain. But as the sharks connected with the bodies of the enemy they both became to wooden stumps. Takumi and the clones both looked around for them but couldn't find them. Then in the blink of an eye all of Takumi's clones began to explode into vapor one by one. When the last one vanished Takumi was left standing there in the rain like a complete dunce. When he made a move to go get t cover he had a kunai knife to his neck.
Bob was standing behind him smiling and the Akatsuki member appeared in front of him with his straw hat off and his Sharigan activated."No wonder." Takumi spat." Looks like it's over for you." Bob whispered, with a hint of laughter in his voice." You're insane, you think I'll let the likes of your kind kill me?" Bob became confused." My kind?" Takumi smirked and shook head. Making sure not to touch the blade." Yeah your kind the traitor kind." After saying this Takumi quickly put his hands together to make a hand sign." Exploding clone technique." Bob and the Akatsuki member both began to take cover. Takumi smirked. It was a false hand sign. He quickly ran over to the Akatsuki member and kicked him in the stomach winding him and knocking him out." Could have been a bit more of a fight." Then Takumi turned around to go and fight Bob.
Bob was ready and was charging at Takumi. Takumi took off Hiramekarei from his back and got into defensive stance. When Bob attacked Takumi there was a clash of sparks when Bob's kunai clanged wit Hiramekarei. It was obvious who was going to when the fight if they carried on a weapons battle. But Bob didn't catch the drift. He kept slashing at Takumi. Takumi was taking quick timed moments to strafe or block the oncoming attacks. Then there was an opening. Takumi took it. He kicked Bob in the arm and released Hiramekarei into it's hammer form. He swung the hammer into Bob's hurt shoulder that sent him flying into a nearby willow tree. Takumi had accomplished his mission and was ready to go turn in.
He summoned another water clone to help him get the Akatsuki member. The clone picked up the knocked out Uchiha and Takumi picked up Bob. After a bit of traveling they finally appeared at the Mizukage's office. Where they sat the now conscience Akatsuki and spy." Good job Takumi. Your reward will be handed to you shortly please leave my office. Me and my friends here shall take care of the rest." She pointed to the group of ninjas in the room then the door. Takumi happily left the room. Mission accomplished and Ramen on the way.

Kazu sat at the top of the Hokage's mansion, with his arms crossed across his chest. His feet dangled off the edge of the building, and his hair floated in the wind. It was clear that something was on his mind, the question is what exactly it was. Kazu simply stared at the horizon, it seemed like it was nearing sunset, the sky was painted with the slightly darker shade of the moon. Kazu let his body slide of the edge of the building, and he fell towards the ground. He spread his arms and legs out, and closed his eyes, feeling the wind rushing past him. He loved the feeling of falling, but not the feeling of splatting against the ground. So he let his legs flip himself over, and a web of coral shot from his hand to the wall dangerously close to the point where he was just about to hit the ground. The coral acted as a rappel and reeled him into the wall, where his feet met. Kazu dropped to the ground, and began to walk in the direction of the Ramen shop. The jet black hair of Kazu was complimented by the icy blue eyes, and finally the intense gaze that finished off his determined facial expression.
Kazu yawned, and stretched his arms, he had quite the long day, and it was no wonder he just wanted to sit around. His new squad was quite a lively bunch, but he did see potential in the young souls. The power in youth was something that was not to be trifled with, they had the willpower that could make such a difference in the world. The power that people like the Akatsuki crave, yet how ironic that they had it once but simply threw it away for their pathetic intentions. Kazu continued walking through his beloved village of Konoha, looking at the signs and buildings and the people. It was very calm at this time of day, as a matter of fact it was the calmest of the day. In an hour or two there would be the hustle and bustle of Konoha nightlife. It was a lovely village, in Kazu's opinion. He honestly believed that there was no other village that was as amazing as Konoha. Just because the energy, and people in Konoha were fantastic. The weather was always beautiful, and the environment was equally beautiful. Plus nothing can beat the original village of the shinobi world. Kazu went on these evening strolls a lot, he was a person that liked to have some time to think and be with himself for a little while, no matter how social he was. Kazu ended up at the end of the village, staring up at the village gates. How large they stood, a sign of Konoha's security and strength. One of the guards asked what he was doing hanging out at the gates and all. "Evening stroll Yuuki, nothing new. I'll be back in a little." He said, followed by a friendly smile.
He headed out of the gates, and on the long scenic road that connected the world to Konoha. He continued to walk, and now the sky was painted an orangey color, with a hint of yellow, signaling the positioning of the large fiery star. He kept on walking, hands in pocket. "Oi Kazu, where exactly are we going.." Came a light voice at the back of his head. He would never get used to the fact this huge monstrous beast that could destroy villages, was shy at some times. Taking a walk Boku, you know that already. He said, while spotting a caravan lead by horses heading to Konoha. He wondered what tradesmen would try to get sales at this hour, there was rarely people walking around at this time. This was usually the time where people relaxed at him with the family and had dinner. The caravan had a torch laid at the left of the window. It came to a slow stop upon approaching Kazu. The door opened, and a bright lamp was in sight, slightly hurting Kazu's eyes. "May ask what business you have here?" Kazu asked politely. There was no response, and Kazu raised an eyebrow. "Oi Kazu I don't think these are businessmen..." Whispered Isobu. This wasn't news to Kazu, and ideas on what he should do flooded through his mind at this time. A hand reached out of the caravan, and grabbed Kazu by the collar of his vest. Kazu grabbed the arm, and yanked the body out with ease. The body laid on the floor, and Kazu had a puzzled expression on his face. "What the?" Kazu then realized what it was, and then he saw two men inside, emerge from the caravan.
"Leave Leaf-nin. Or we will have to kill you." Said one of them. Kazu sighed, and looked down at the puppet. Locating exactly where the chakra threads were located. "You big bad guys always say the same thing." He said, before his right hand erupted in lightning. His right hand planted on the puppet, and the lightning spread outwards in a shockwave. "Chidori:Nagashi." He said quietly, as the lightning shot up the chakra threads, into the caravan, and all around it, trapping the men in a lightning field. The wooden caravan wasn't a very good conductor, so the lightning didn't last as long as Kazu would have liked, however it looked like it did the job as the two men inside weren't moving anymore. Their screams also lead him to believe that he did the job pretty well. Kazu looked inside, and noticed a hatch on the floor of the wagon. He lifted it up, and the second he did, a blade shot up from it, and almost impaled Kazu. The blade lodged into the ceiling, and Kazu jumped out of the wagon. He felt his cheek, and there was some blood dripping down form where the blade grazed him. He clenched his jaw, and waited for his final opponent to emerge. A younger man stepped out of the wagon, and he didn't wait very long before attacking. He lunged forward and swiped down with his sword, and Kazu's right hand blocked the metal blade. It was his steel gloved brass knuckles that allowed him to not get injured, but he still felt the impact of the hit. With his blade stopped, Kazu sent a flying left punch, embedded with chakra, for a devestating blow to the face of the man. He didn't even make a sound, but his body flew into the window of the wagon, and movement ceased. He felt his hand, and made sure it was okay. "Well.. now what do I do.." Realizing he was going to have to bring these guys all the way back to Konoha.

Jounnin application for Konoha Iwagakure
The rain was spilling down from the clouds, each droplet of water could be felt on her arms as she walked down the muddy road. Each step would sink into the earth, making a quiet squishing sound before the next step would drown out the old one. A lady in a dark red robe, made darker by the rain, walked towards the village gates, the slight glow from various lights could be seen through the trees, she knew she was getting closer.
As the a large group of trees began to form in front of her, she looked around cautiously, the trees continued to thicken as she walked forward, making the area darker and darker, yet the rain was still able to pour through unhindered. With the snap of a twig, she stopped dead in her tracks, not making any sudden movements, but not allowing any area to go unchecked. Something, or someone was with her on this cold night. She slowly let her hand fall to a pouch on her left thigh, popping the button open to grab a kunai.
As she slowly removed it from the pouch, using her robe to hide her arm, she took a grip on it, running a finger down the hilt to confirm the feel of paper round the base of it. With a satisfied change in texture, she tightened her grip and continued walking. Her pace had only changed in that she walked a little slower, taking in the area much more thoroughly. Hearing the second snap of a twig, she spun around quickly, throwing the kunai towards the source of the sound. With a satisfying thunk, the kunai hit a tree somewhere in the darkness, and several treetops began to rustle. The woman smirked before several men all jumped out at once, burying a dozen weapons into the ground where she once stood.
All of them exchanged confused glances, several well built men in old armour, well into their age. They stood, withdrawing their weapons from the ground and looking around for the woman. One of the men motioned to an object buried in the ground, a small, dual pronged kunai with an odd looking tag on it. It wasn't explosive, so what could it be for? One of the men looked up to meet the confused gazes of the others. "Search the area then, make sure we find he--"
With a hard thud, a small boot collided with the head of the man holding the kunai, who was sent face first into the mud, tossing the kunai in the air. The dark robed figure, who had just sent a well trained mercenary's head slamming into the ground, grabbed the weapon and vanished in a flash, as if it was a ghost. One of the men drew his long sword, a terrified expression on his face. Then a larger man begun barking orders. "Everyone spread out and catch her! I don't care how you do it, just find this b***h!"
With that said, each of the men scattered in different directions, diving into the forest with their weapons drawn. A young man with a scruffy beard that hadn't quite grown in yet walked over to investigate the area where the kunai first landed. He walked around the tree slowly with his weapon at the ready. He took a look at the hole in the tree where the kunai made impact, it was gone now but the woman must have taken it, she couldn't be far. He turned around, to see a set of footprints in the wet mud, leading off deeper into the forest. "Ok, I can do this." He said to himself before running off in the directions the tracks led.
As the man continued walking, he spotted a small object in the mud, another kunai? The woman must have dropped it when she ran off. He bent down to pick it up, turning back to leave the way he came as the rain was washing away the tracks now. He didn't want to get lost, instead, joining up with the others would be his best idea. Maybe he could convince them that he killed her and took this as proof. The reward for this bounty was huge anyway, even if he couldn't get the bonus it'd be enough to live off for a long while.
An hour passed when the mercenaries regrouped. All of which brought back a single kunai that bore a resemblance to the older one. "So none of you idiots could find a single trace of her? What am I paying you morons for?!" The captain of the mercenaries was obviously annoyed, but let out an exasperated sigh. "It's been a long night, let's head back to the drop off point and hand in these Kunais as proof of the kill, everyone good with that?" The man looked around the group, who seemed to have no complaints.
As the captain turned around, several loud thuds were heard behind him. In horror, he turned around wide eyed to see the group of men laying on the ground, and the dark robed woman standing there once more. She pulled down her hood and gazed at him with an amused smirk. She reached over, taking her kunai from the man's hand. I'll just take that..." She whispered before turning around and walking away. "Have a good night, make sure to keep them out of the rain. Don't wanna get sick." With that said, the woman vanished, with nothing left but a puff of smoke where she once stood.
Most of the men in the small team of mercenaries lived on, most quit their job after the event and went to live decent lives, the captain ended up dying in his home, someone had set it ablaze and he managed to get his family out. But no one saw the woman in the dark red robe again, leaving nothing but a nickname "The Crimson ghost." Some say she's living as a high ranking shinobi in Konoha, some say she still wanders the forests.
(Sorry about the lack of words the first time, I meant to leave it for awhile until I could get back to it, but my computer had to restart.)
