Welcome!This is where anyone can come and introduce themselves and chat. There's no rules or forms as long as you're polite! I'll go first! My name is Kamiki, and I've been actively collecting Soquili since 2005! My first Soquili was Stormwild. I'm happy to plot and RP with anybody, so if you're having trouble finding RP for your Soqs or familiars, please let me know! You can PM me, or find me on AIM ( SamanthaBlaire ). I also love to just chat about Soquili in general, so even if you're a newbie and have questions or just wanna talk shop, hit me up!

Hey guys and Gals! I'm Taz! I have been around Soq since 2010 when I was gifted my first Soq (Which was a basket, EEEEE) Amira. Since then, I have acquired 8 Soq myself, one of I which have co-owned, and 3 others that I have obtained from others allowing me to co-own. I obtained my first Soquili (well, Usdia), Badgey, back in 2007 during one of the Harry Potter events. I think it was for the... fifth movie? Maybe the sixth. Anyway. He's currently my only Soq, but I hope to change that soon! c:
I love to RP, too! I'm trying to get a lot of RP for Badgey right now, so if you're looking to RP, just send me a PM or take a look at my plot thread, which I have linked in my sig!
I'm relatively a newbie to Soquili, despite having come here for many years. Like many others I'm intimated by the fast pace of the thread. I'm sure I have tons of a questions buried inside my brain, so I'll be sure to ask them here when they come. c:
One current question I do have: Does anyone own a cosplay of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza (aka Princess Cadence) from MLP: FiM? And if not, is she currently being quested for? I was thinking of questing for her myself as a Wind Soquili with dove wings. If she's available, I'd totally appreciate some advice on how the questing here works, how to figure out if edits are minor or major, and how one goes about applying for customs when they open. c: (heck, I'd appreciate the advice either way!)

I'm pretty sure she would be considered a high-end Moderately edited if you were getting her "Naked" with her crown, and Heavy if you wanted to get her with her wedding gown or something.

Moderate Edit Points
up to 3 minor edits (Medium Tail, Complex Jewelry (crown))
Long Mane
Up to 2 pieces of horse tack (her chestplate and bracers)
That's how I would price it, but some colorists may think she's heavy either way, so you may want to save up for Heavy Edits just in case?
I always over-estimate myself.

Hmm... then I almost have the base price saved up, I'd just need to raise another... 200-500k for edits. Woo. o3o That's a lot, but doable. Cool! She'd probably look very similar to your two lovely ladies, so would the mane or tail be any extra? Or are those already templated?
And Celestia and Nightmare Moon are lovely! I especially love Nightmare Moon!
So pretty much the way it works is that when custom slots are opened I follow the rules of the colorist's thread (and also any general shop rules) and hope that I'm picked? Is that usually how it works?
Should I make a preexisting quest thread?

Celestia and NM Moon's Tails are edited - they look the same because I won them as twins, but its not a stock template you get with an unedited slot.
Here are the unedited hair styles - its missing some of the new ones.
But Moderate Edits is 200K which I'm sure you should be able to save up smile If customs opens and you're short some funds, maybe I can help!
When customs open, you will post your custom form and any other info the colorist wants. Usually the winners are rolled from a raffle, but sometimes they "CC" which means "Colorists Choice" and pick a few concepts they liek.
Whether or not you make a quest thread is up to you. Its not required, but some people like having a base of operations to advertise what they're trying for, and how their funding is going.

(as a friend, of course) Would you be up for something like that? c:

Hi there! My name is Baby Pandah, but you can call me BP or Pandah. ^^
I've been around Soquili since somewhere around '07.
My first Soquili was a gift from Kamiki herself, Copper.
I LOVE to RP and plot, making characters and stories are the main reasons I'm on Gaia. I also love to meet new people and make new friends, and so do my Soquili (well, most of them ;D). So feel free to check out my teepee and contact me for role-play. If you have any questions, I'd be very glad to help.
ALSO, I know that some newbies only lurk in Soq because it is rather intimidating. But there are a lot of nice people and I can guarantee that if Kamiki, Taz or I are around, you're safe. ;D Kinda like Dumbledore with Harry Potter...wow there's my geekyness showing. xD Anyway, we all welcome newbies who are eager to RP and have fun. <3

Hi there everyone!
I'm Cap, and I've been in Soq for less than a month! So I'm pretty new. 83
But I'm not new to RPing! I've been am RPer for a couple years now, and I absolutely adore it!
I'd love to get in touch with other newbies and have lots of RP when I have a Soq to RP with. xD
Since I don't have one yet, I'll share a concept I plan to quest for. Rowan, a Soq-ified OC of mine. He first started out as a Druid for DnD, and has been used in fantasy/medieval RPs since. He'll be a cerynei here in the shop.
