Victoria saw the look in other children's eyes. They didn't have to say or out right display the restlessness like Alex. "Go ahead and go on." She only gave in so easily because she knew there was staff keeping an eye on things. "Come on let's have a look around. Maybe we'll find someone else our age." Alison suggested as the three of them walked out the door. Willow had a firm grip on her sisters hand. She was not entirely thrilled about leaving the safety of the room but since she was with siblings she would deal. "Hey look," Auden said once they were out in the hall. He turned himself to the width of the hall. "The hall can barely accommodate me." "You sound proud," Willow giggled. Alison rolled her eyes, "So you are. We will remember that in case we need to use you as a barricade." Auden snorted.

A man with raven-colored hair and bright green eyes made his way down the hall. He had a pencil behind his right ear, and carried a messenger bag filled with pencils and sketchbooks. Closely behind him, a pale child with fuzzy ears and tail followed behind, clutching a sketchbook of his own in one hand and the older man's hand in the other.
Keegan didn't want to admit it, but he was lost. After the initial panic when the blue lights had gone off, he and Skye had tried their best to stay together. There sure were a lot of people rushing around. Keegan had even held onto the youngster's hand despite the awkwardness he felt, to make sure they weren't separated. He wasn't sure if Skye minded though. He was probably just as shy as Keegan was. 'Hopefully I'm not making him uncomfortable,' he thought to himself.
Skye didn't mind though. It actually made him more comfortable. He felt better knowing he was with someone and not alone. He hung onto Keegan's hand tightly as they made their way down the hallway. As they turned the corner, they nearly collided with another group of individuals that neither Keegan nor Skye recognized. They immediately found themselves apologizing.
"So sorry, We weren't watching where we were going-" Keegan began. But he found himself staring in wonder. No matter how many manifestations he saw, he could never really get over the fact of how fantastical some of them looked.
Skye noticed Keegan staring and gently elbowed the man. Being a manifestation himself, he wasn't quit as surprised. "Um hi, we were just uh-" he fumbled for words.
Neither of them were very good at socializing it would seem. They both blushed, and waited for someone else to say something.

Tokala had been wandering around the city when the lights went off. She probably should go find her guardian and let her know that she was all right, but the kitsune was curious about what was going on and opted to just walk around a bit more. She wasn't sure how long they would be staying here before they went to her guardian's homeworld.
She wandered around for a while before seeing a large gathering of people. She would have kept exploring but most people where starting to flee inside and she had met two of them before, at least she though she had, one of them looked a a lot different than last time she'd seen him.
"Alison, Auden! Hey!" She said as she wandered over to them. She looked over at the other people in the group curiously.

"Oh now you've done it buddy," Alison teased, "you've caused a hold up in the hall." She took a moment to those that had gathered.
"Well at least we know the barricade theory works," Willow pointed out. She scooted a bit behind her sister and looked at all of the people also.
Auden ignored his sisters banter. There were others around and this was not the time or play to argue whether playful or not.
"We know you," Auden said as his eyes fell upon the tailed one, "It's Tokala isn't it? You were at that party- right?"
Willow peeked over her sisters shoulder and noticed the cat like one. "You remind me of my sister," she scooted a bit closer to him. After a few more seconds of looking him over she reached out and grabbed his tail. It was more for touch than for grip.
"Willow!" Alison lightly smacked her forehead. "You cannot go and grab other peoples parts."

Skye's eyes widened in surprise as the stranger grabbed his tail. Right away, he ducked behind Keegan. He held onto his guardian's shirt, like a frightened child, before mustering his courage to peer back around. He blushed in embarrassment. "S-sorry I just-"
"He's kinda shy," Keegan finished for him.
Skye sighed. He knew knew Keegan was shy too; the fact that he was handling himself pretty well right now had Skye a little jealous.
Keegan was trying his best, he really was. After receiving so many complaints that he wasn't friendly enough and that he needed to socialize more, he had given in and worked every day toward bettering himself. So maybe now was the perfect opportunity to make some new acquaintances, and possibly friends for Skye. So Keegan cleared his throat, "ahem, so uh.... My name is Keegan, and this is Skye."
"H-hi," Skye finally managed. He stepped out from Keegan's shadow and gave a small wave. "So, I remind you of your sister?" he questioned, in attempt at conversation. "Who's that?"
Keegan smiled with a sense of relief. Hopefully things would run smoothly from here on out. Though in the back of his mind, he wondered what the commotion before was all about. The messages said something about a stray hatchling right? I wonder if any of these manifests are the one they're looking for? "......Um...would any of you know about what's going on?" he asked curiously.

Tokala smiled, "Yeah, that's me, nice to see you guys again. How have you been?" She turned the the people she didn't know "I'm Tokala, Nice to meet you. I'm not entirely sure what's happening something to do with a manifest I think."
Her gaze wandered around looking at the other people, there sure where a lot of them gathered here. Auden had apparently turned horseish and there was a new girl and someone else with a tail.

The moment Willow realized she had spooked Skye she started to cry. She was trying her best not to but she had no real control. She cried often times just because.
"Willow," Alison pulled a tissue from her pocket and handed it to her sister.
Willow instantly knew. Embarrassment was barely evident on her face. But she was quickly pulled from self thought when she heard Skye ask a question. "Yes you do," she sniffled, "her name is Alex. She isn't as fluffy as you."
Alison though keeping an eye on Willow returned her attention to Tokala. "We've been better," and that was all she was saying. She was so not going into the earlier incident that nearly crippled the three of them.
"It is best we not speak of what is going on out there within these halls... We wouldn't want to startle others." Auden felt that though it was vague it was good enough to give warning. This family knew all too well what was going on.

Skye's ears drooped a little when he realized he had made Willow cry. He felt bad, but couldn't help being shy. He kind of wanted to curl up in a corner by himself so he didn't accidentally hurt anyone's feelings again. He still felt the need to apologize again. "I really am sorry," he said with a bow.
Keegan could see the look on Skye's face and patted him on the head. "It's okay. You're new at this." He explained to the others that he and Sky weren't really all that social until recently. "I spend most of my time doing art. The few friends I have always pushed to get me out of the house. And as for Skye, he was born recently so..." He trailed off, blushing a little.
When Willow answered Skye's question though, he was intrigued. Someone like him? He wondered what she could be like.
As for receiving an answer about what was going on, Keegan was slightly disappointed. It would seem the others knew something he didn't. Though he gathered that whatever it was, was pretty serious.
Skye glanced over at Keegan, sensing how he was feeling. He wondered too if whatever was going on was reason to maybe find a safe place. "Should we find some place safe to go?" he questioned, wondering if the others would like to go with them.

"That's to bad, hope things start looking up for you guys soon." Tokala said to Alison. She wasn't sure what to do about willows crying so she let the others handle it. "Yeah, a lot of people are probably freaked out enough as it is with the lights going off." She said hearing Auden's comment about not wanting to scare the others.
Tokala turned to the other two people who had joined the group a little bit before we did. "Sounds like a good idea, got any ideas where we should go?" She asked Skye.

"We're perfectly safe right were we stand," Auden said mater of factly. "We are inside the complexes housing area. There are techs and such. The only way we are not safe is if we go outside of this area and start poking our noses where they don't belong." He himself had already had his fill of getting in trouble for the day and had no intentions on leaving the secure area.
Willow nodded her head. "Just not as fluffy as you," she repeated. "She is sorta greyish with splotches. Short fur. Nice sized ears and a long tail. She isn't really graceful but she loves to climb trees." She intentionally left out the part of her sister being a constant mud ball. Once more she reached out and touched Skye's tail, more towards the tip. She just couldn't help it. She loved the way it felt.
"They are already looking up." Alison grinned. "After all we ran into you." She ran her fingers through her hair and glanced around the hall. "There has to be something we can do in the safety of these walls. We weren't prepared for this so we didn't pack anything. Not even a change of clothes."

Skye listened intently as she described her sister. 'Another cat...' he thought to himself. 'How curious.' "Interesting.. I've never tried my hand at climbing trees before...." he began, watching as Willow reached out a second time for his tail.
Skye was a little more prepared this time. He was still a little uncomfortable, but he managed a smile. After all, he had no real reason to be scared right? These people seemed nice enough. At least that's what he told himself.
When Auden mentioned the fact that they would be safe with techs being around, it was Keegan who felt kind of silly for having thought otherwise. The he had a point. People who knew what was going on were around to keep them safe.
"Surely we can find something entertaining to do then..." Keegan finally said.
Skye nodded and glanced over to Tokala. "Hmm I'm not really sure. I don't know my way around just yet. But it might be fun to explore..." he trailed off, wondering what the others thought of the idea.
Keegan didn't mind though. He figured it was something to do and if they got bored, he had plenty of paper and pencils to go around if they wanted to draw. "Alright, if that's what you all feel like doing."

Tokala listened to Auden, he was right, they were safe is they stayed here. but that also meant doing nothing and that was boring. The kitsune's twin tails twitched, she hated being bored.
She grinned at Alison, "Thats good, I'm glad that I got to run into you guys again. That's not good at all, and it's probably not a good idea to go cloths shopping the chaos. Hmm Maybe we should talk to one of the staff members, they probably have something set up for situations like this since people come in and out of the dimension for the day all the time."
She perked up hearing them ask about what to do. "Exploring sounds like fun, if we are lucky we might be able to find a game or something to do! I wonder if they have a game room around here?"

Auden and Willow glanced at one another. There was a frown and a small sigh exchanged between them. As much as they wanted to go exploring they weren't any shape to do so.
"Alison you go on ahead. Willow and me are going to head back to the room."
Willow smiled softly and came to stand beside her brother. "Yeah, you go on ahead. We'll both slow you all down." She held up her hands, "remember the glue needs to set."
Auden felt a smidge bad. If it hadn't been for his sister trying to help lift Xander onto his back she would have never popped her joints. He sighed. "At first I was okay but now just standing here I'm realizing how bad I'm hurting."
Alison briefly frowned. "Well okay then. I'll tell you both about it later."

Keegan wasn't really sure what had happened, but it seemed some of the others weren't feeling well.
Skye looked worried. "Are you sure it's okay?" he asked, I'd feel bad if you were to miss out on the fun."
"Well if you do decide to stay, I have plenty of paper and pencils you all can have if you feel like drawing," Keegan added. He didn't want the kids to go back to being bored.
"So then, what shall we do? Should we still go or stay here and draw?" Skye asked the others.
"It's all up to you guys," Keegan replied. "We can split up, and just Auden and Willow can draw if they like while you explore. Or we can all draw."
Skye was torn. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do. He did like drawing and didn't want to leave the others out. But part of him wanted to see what else was inside the building. He looked to Tokala and Alison. "What do you two think?"

"Drawing sounds interesting, It will be cool to see what everyone comes up with" While Tokala wanted to run off and explore the halls, it was better if they could find something everyone could do instead of excluding some members of the group. She could all ways explore latter on.
