Well, basically I love myself some fantasy so get ready for a crazy ride!
Cassian is meant to be a floating country!
• Mainlands
The mainlands are where the humans reside. At the far end is the castle of the king, and around the castle is the largest city of the main lands. Small villages scatter the largest area of Cassian. It's surrounded by mountains to protect it from attack from other countries in the surrounding area. Most of the surrounding is earth, though there is a large river running through the land that leads to a waterfall which provides mist to keep the country hidden from time to time.
• Saby
Saby isn't too far off of the mainlands, floating just a bit away. Many of the lands are covered in rock and mountains. For water dragons must travel to the other areas of the country. It can be a inconvenience at times, but most rocky dragons don't need water for days on end. Most dragons from Saby tend to have harder hides from long days spent in the mountains. Dragons from Saby are known as the 'Knights' of the dragons.
• Vivec
Vivec is the second largest island next to the mainlands. It's mostly covered in swamplands and the more vicious dragons come from there. Most dragons from Vivec are titled ogres due to their outlandish looks and less than moderate etiquette. They're rough, disgusting and rude, most of the time they stay in their own lands, but from time to time they wreak havoc on the residents of the mainlands.
• Vertille
Dragons who are from Vertille are almost constantly calm. They're referred to as the 'wizards' of the species. Most dragons from Vertille are accustom to the wet territory. Most of vertille is covered in bodies of water, which are deep and hold hidden mysteries with the dragons. Most of the water dragons from this area can use minor magic. They often stay to their own but in battle they prefer being with the dragons from Saby over the Vivecians.
• Sealigia
Sealigia is covered in ice and snow. Many dragons from this area are vicious, while others can be quite mysteriously calm compared to others. Most of the ice dragons don't have the ability to breathe fire, and often the land is covered in ice due to the ice dragons around the lands. Many dragons from different parts of the country don't wander into this area, seeing as the temperatures drop too low for other dragons.
