ＲＥＧＵＬＡＴＩＯＮＳ RULES TO ABIDE BY IN THE ADOPTION PROCESS
ＡＤＯＰＴＩＯＮ ＰＲＯＣＥＳＳ
➤ To apply for a Plague, please follow the steps listed at the time the adoption center opens. If you are approved for a Plague, you "own" the Plague for a probationary period, and no other person can apply for it. There is no fee to apply, but you may only apply for one Plague at a time, so please only apply for a Plague you are interested in playing.
➤ Once you apply for a rehome Plague, you must then create a profile for it in the "Tentative Candidates" subforum within a month for approval by a staff member. You will be assigned a staff member to contact for critique. All adoption center Plagues are clean slates, so you don't need to be concerned with incorporating the Plague's history with its previous owner. The bio template may be found at the bottom of the first post in this thread.
➤ If you still have not written/got approval for your prospective Plague's bio one month from the day you applied for the Plague, you will be disqualified from owning it and it will be returned to the adoption center. If you fail to make your bio approvable within three crits, the staff will confer with each other, and if the crits were considered fair, the Plague will likewise be returned to the adoption center. If the next person to claim it fails as well, you may try again after.
➤ If within a month your bio is finished and approved by the staff member assigned to approve it, you will receive an official cert, art, and journal, and be allowed to roleplay the Plague. However, if you do not show signs of IC activity or otherwise warn us that IRL is currently interfering with your ability to participate in the shop for up to a month after you've been given the character, the Plague will be returned to the adoption center.
➤ Once your probationary period passes, the Plague is completely yours, only subject to the normal ownership rules of Plague Doctor. There is no fee involved in winning your Plague.
ＲＥＳＴＲＩＣＴＩＯＮＳ
➤ If you are found to be willfully sabotaging another applicant, you will be disqualified from ever obtaining a Plague through the adoption center.
➤ If you are guilt tripping other applicants, you will be given a warning, and failure to heed it will result in being banned from applying for the Plague that you were guilt tripping them over in question.
➤ If you attempt to pressure staff into approving your bio, your application will be rejected. However, if your bio fails to be approved in time because no assigned staff member had time to help you (hopefully not a fate that will befall anybody), you will receive an extension. If your staff member is exceedingly busy, you may request a new staff member, but you may not request one if you dislike the feedback your current one is providing. Remember that the month deadline for your bio thread is for both setup AND approval, meaning that if you wait until the last week of the month to get crits, you may run out of time regardless.
➤ If you relinquish a Plague for any reason, you may not try for another Plague for one month. This is to ensure that you only apply for a Plague that you are willing to commit to playing, rather than any Plague that happens to be available at the time.
➤ If you have previously tried for three adoption quests and failed to complete them due to time constraints and not critique, it will be assumed that your real life is simply too busy to have a Plague, and you will be forbidden from trying for another Plague from the Sanctuarium Putre unless you are able to give the staff sufficient cause to believe that your irl circumstances have changed.
➤ If you are found to be a mule account belonging to the old owner of the Plague or another Grimm, you will be blacklisted.
➤ If you roleplay your Plague before the bio is approved by a staff member, your application will be denied.

ＰＵＴＲＥＳ GRIMMLESS PUTESCO
A previously claimed Plague whose applicant has passed their deadline without approval is not available for new applications until announced by a staff member or the mule. Applications are currently CLOSED.
This is a strange sort of relic, battered with age and rough handling. From the look of it, it should keep the owner in health and happiness, but the black substance dripping from the long ivory tusk suggests a more ominous fate for the unfortunate keeper of this fanciful broken bust...
A strange pumpkin has turned into a dapper squire. The scent of sweet rotting leaves and rich spice nearly obscures the scent of death, And, thick and cloying, clings to his habit.
This round, all Plagues will be claimed by sending a brief concept pitch to Der Pestdoktor. Please put the item you intend to try for as the subject header of the PM, then in the body of the PM, include a brief concept description of what you have in mind- no more than two paragraphs long. We will choose pitches on the 16th of February, and if a Plague gets no pitches, it will become first come first served.

I relinquish all temporary rights to the Narwhal's Tusk Adoption Quest. I may be removed from the list and the Narwhal's Tusk may be put back up for adoption.
