I see the dark arts teacher at his desk and what looked like a stern look on his face. I sat near the back but moved a lot in my seat. I gaze at the teacher once more and ask shyly "Do you know any magic that can block black magic?" I ask weakly; gazing at my desk once more.

Cyras Sylaria Architect of Thought "You should clear your mind of idle thoughts..." "The word your looking for, it's called a 'ward,'" a calm, smooth voice chimed in from the doorway, as a robed and hooded student seemingly floated into the room. He carried himself with a regal confidence, yet the look on his face was that of a cool, impassive bystander; it was clear even under the shadows cast by the hood he wore thanks to the illumination provided by the glowing lines on his face. They pulsed a light blue with his heartbeat with every step, and he extended a greeting in the form of a nod to the woman. "I believe the teacher stepped out momentarily, but if you'd like... I know a thing or two about magic. Wards and counterspells happen to be my specialty. Or at least, one of them." "... If you can't manage that, I suppose I'll have to do it for you."

EiraI sigh gratefully and gazed at the robed guy. He seemed so powerful from the energy pulsing from him and the way he held himself. I shyly look at his hooded face then back down again. "Thank you very much... umm... something happened to me when I was little and now I can't seem to control my panther side. My dad gave me an amulet but it's effects are waning. I-I don't know w-what to do" I toke a deep breath and wiped the tears from my face. "I might go berserk and hurt someone" I said as calmly as I could. Maybe he can help me before I kill some one in my rage. I wonder what type of spells he know sense he said wards are only one of his specialty.

-The teacher looks down from the stairs watching the students chat- i speak out with a deep voice but almost soothing "yes young lady black magic aka wards are the hardest to master but thing is im a spell thief one of the last of its kind im also an alchemist parshly. i really gave up on that skill... i still practice it sometimes but a nuff about me i want to learn about you guys a bit." -an power swells the room as i walk down the stairs and sit behind my desk, this energy makes some of the weaker students feel light headed, a dark presents seems to emulate off my body- "oh by the way..." -looking up with a small smile- "if you cant withstand my aria then please leave now. if you have the guts to stay then be prepared for what might come to you"

His dark like force reaches me and the panther that I try to suppress stirs in anger. The energy had a similar feel as the one that cursed me. I shut my eyes to try and keep myself in check. I look at the teacher as he said we can leave now if we can't handle it. A snarl escapes me with the effort it toke to keep the panther from protecting itself from protection danger. Finally the panther grew calm again. "No, I need to learn. I want to stay." I say in soft voice. leaning in my seat I gaze at the mage to gauge his reaction.

Cyras Sylaria Architect of Thought "You should clear your mind of idle thoughts..." As the girl described her problem, Cyras' eyebrow raised. "That seems less like a problem to do with wards, and more a problem to do with your own subconscious... Perhaps if the improvements on the warding amulet doesn't help, or fades after a time, I can help you with that. My true specialty is magic dealing with the mind, after all." He paused for a moment, before blinking suddenly and giving a deep nod. "That reminds me, I haven't introduced myself. How very rude. I am Prince Cyras Sylaria, Architect of Thought, firstborn son and heir to the throne of King Cyras Mondas, Fist of the Tempest and Ruler of the Kingdom of G'ralthul. It's a pleasure, miss...?" Before she could get the opportunity to respond, however, Cyras became aware of a dark presence in the room. He immediately readied himself to counter, and was nearly ready to unleash a serious haymaker of an attack before realizing the source; the teacher himself. Cyras became instantly wary of the man, brushing off his powerful aura with ease; Cyras' own aura was practically smothering the room even without the added flow of energy, and the two of their magical signatures combined almost seemed to make the air heavy. However, Cyras' was free of that taint the man's carried with him, and was almost a soothing, pulsing sort of energy; like calm ocean tide. Smooth and rhythmic, but wide, overpowering, and practically unstoppable.
When the man mentioned he was a spell thief- whatever the hell that means- and one of the last of them, as well as a partial alchemist, Cyras' eyebrow raised a bit higher. The implied threat carried by the man's warning of his aura was no cause for alarm in Cyras' view; his people's auras were constantly at full power, and most of them were so vastly overpowered that they couldn't be too close to flammable objects or glass. Cyras himself, while far from the most powerful of his kind, was one of the smartest; his own raw power was on par with any from this world, for certain, but his mind was leaps and bounds above that. He watched this man with a keen interest, wondering if there was anything the man could actually offer him. After all, he'd gone through just about every tutor in the entire realm, eventually making some of the finest look like chumps; surely, he thought despite even that, this man had something to teach him. And he knew that, outside of his magical classes, he'd be spending a lot of his time in the library. "About us?" He asked, before shrugging.
"Very well. I am, as my title would insinuate, royalty. No, I do not expect special treatment. What I do expect, however, is a certain amount of respect for my talents. If at all possible, I would ask to be taught on my skill level, so that I might not have to sit through years' worth of lessons I already know. I specialize in magics of the mind and subconscious, such as illusions, mental probes, mind rips, implanting thoughts, and manipulating others; my other specialties include hydromancy, aeromancy, warding and runes, as well as enchanting. I've been privately tutored by the best and brightest in a realm consisting of nothing but the best and brightest, and I am considered a prodigy amongst even them... So I would appreciate this be kept in mind while our lessons and tasks and such are given out. I'd rather not regress in my studies because a teacher underestimated me." While his words may have sounded confident to the point of arrogance, the tone in which they were said was so lackluster and without the urge to prove anything that it would be difficult to take what he said for anything more or less than face value; these were not the boasts of a foolish boy. They were plain and simple facts, easily observed by even the most ignorant of men. "... If you can't manage that, I suppose I'll have to do it for you."

Devral was hiding in the shadows right outside the door he had been a few minutes behind the Prince and had waited, he could also since the very dark energy coming from the teacher, but he did not fear it. He stepped from the shadows and moved through the door to find a dark place in the back of the classroom where he could see everyone, and listened.

Feeling a little at ease with the energy change. The panther still stired but wasn't quite as enraged as before. As I listened when he spoke to the mage I felt a little unease but I knew that he wouldn't hurt anyone with no reason. I toke a breath and reached for my neck. "I make no promise that I can control myself. There is a lot of energy in this room. Three large energies and my panther doesn't exactly trust what it can't determine." I say softly. I undo the clasp on my neck and hand it to the teacher. As I felt his dark energy I felt my panther snarling in my head. My head throbbed and my hands start to turn into claws. Well, this is bad I feel fangs start to form in my mouth and all my senses start to sharpen. I try to breath and calm myself but my panther was fighting me to protect itself from all the high levels of energy. "See, I told you. My panther has rages sometimes due to high levels of energy. Most of the time I can control it."

Eira "I'm staying cause I want to be able to find out what type of magic that sorcerer used to destroy our little village me and my family used to live in. Not for revenge but for helping me notice the difference so my panther won't be as enraged at all random high levels energy And to help incase something some other dark magic user decided to do me in again. I say as I held my panther back. My hair changed to black instead of pink and my eyes turned to a yellow color. I won't be able to hold back much longer.

Cyras Sylaria Architect of Thought "You should clear your mind of idle thoughts..." Cyras' eyes flared at the dark man's passing mention of his father being a weak king, and he strode forward with a fierce gaze in his eyes. "My father made the strongest mages of this world look like cheap tricksters and child's playthings," he hissed through clenched teeth, his aura beginning to swirl about the room. It overwhelmed the teacher's, and he began pulsating light. "You are but an ant beneath even my boot, and I am a far cry from the power contained within even some of the lesser nobles in the Kingdom of G'arthruk. I suggest you hold your tongue, before I put you in your place... Foolish sod of a teacher," he grunted, spitting on the ground at the man's feet. "I've had plants that had more knowledge to offer, and they'd do it without insult." The danger of the girl's 'panther form' forgotten, he stared at the man with gathering stormclouds in his eyes, threatening to unleash a hell unknown to the planet upon the foolish man. "... If you can't manage that, I suppose I'll have to do it for you."

Eira"Although I understand how you feel Cyras but do u mind not tearing up the class room? how bout you challenge him in the arena and beat him there. Otherwise my panther is gonna go lose with all this energy you two keep unleashing." I walk back to my seat and sit with my eyes shut as it became harder and harder to hold it back. "Based on what he said about being a thief, i'm guessing he can copy spells and be able to use them just as well as the caster. So if you two fight it might be a very close battle... but that's just my view of it"

Devral smiled amused by everything that was going on and the threats as they flew around. However he was ready to cover himself in the shadows for protection should a fight begin.
