Sheria huffed and puffed as she climbed up the mountain path. Even though she run almost every day, how fit she was had posed no match to the narrow trail. Her eyes squinted in to daggers, stabbing every spot her hooves were about to step on. What would Evan think of a hot mess, out of breath hair blown all over the place with these darn harsh winds? What did she care? She didn't even know the guy... She lifted her head when the mountain trail came to a halt at a cave as dark as night. A distant light flickered at the end and she knew she must go through it to meet her mate-to-be but her nerves had tied in to knots. She was having second thoughts but knew she couldn't turn back now. She had come so far, even abandoned 'him' for this.
Lips forming a careful frown, she pushed herself forward and entered the cave. Every step felt as though she was being hailed with stones and when she was coveted in the light of Eden, she froze. Gazing down at the angels at the bottom of the hill she was struck with awe at how the light seemed to dance with attraction upon them. The question still lingered, which one of these heavenly creatures was Evan?

Evan stood near the edge of all the excitement. He honestly wasn't to worried about making any commitment to talking to anyone unless it was necessary. His glowing blue eyes peered around as everyone talked and blabbed about something he truly didn't care too much about. Giving a slight sigh he turned to wander around the caved in area to just find a much more secluded area. He wasn't aware that Sheria would be showing up early. Evan told some of the herd he would be sending out a couple of others to get her.Though her arrival being so early would ruin the plans he had made for them. Noticing the new comer on the caves entrance he perked his ears.Who was it? He wasn't sure who it was since he was so far away.Deciding to make his way up towards them,he started on his way.

Managing to pry her hazels away from the group at the bottom of the hill, after admiring the sight for quite some time, her attention wandered to the surroundings. A large plain, a forest that stretched out wide behind them and the stream that crept through the middle and to the edge, of what appeared to be the world to her. There, she noticed a figure who was on the march and marching her way! Sheria panicked, throwing her head left and right in a somewhat startled fashion before slowly moving her eyes back to the approaching figure. She gulped, stepping forward a touch. "Err... Hello?" She paused, trying to collect herself. "I'm looking for Evan! Can you point me in the right direction..." She squeaked as he drew closer. "Please?"

He gave her a weird look as she started getting all startled about him coming near her. She was new in their lands it just didn't seem right that she just showed up without notice."Hello.."He glanced around them and then back to her."He's speaking." Evan almost let out a slight sigh, what did the mare want to do with him? He didn't think he was that well known. His scarf blew in the wind a bit as he stood in front of her waiting for what she wanted. Tossing his mane to keep it out of his eyes he grumbled a little bit. Those darned bangs never ever kept out of his eyes so that he could get a straight look of the mare.

This was Evan!? Her jaw dropped slack. The stallion before her hadn't been what she was expecting at all. He was tall and handsome but that skull marking on his face looked as if it was going to jump off at any moment and swallow her whole. She lifted a brow and moved forward, the nerves that had encased her before completely forgotten and transformed in to curiosity. She stopped by his side and picked at the scarf with her mouth, tugging gently before letting go and then moved around to his back, staring a moment before giving a light shrug and a more than satisfied smile. Starting to move back around to his front, she flicked her tail so that it clipped his hide, standing still once more when she face him straight on.
"So this is the Evan almighty I've heard so much about! Not bad, not bad at all. My brother told me a lot of great things about you, I never really knew whether to believe it or not but I hope it's all true." She grinned at him. "I'm Sheria, your mate. Great to finally meet you." Finally, she rolled her eyes. A part of her mad that he had put off coming to get her for so long.

Evan watched her as she started wandering around him. When she started picking at his scarf and then flicking him with her tail,he started feeling a bit agitated. He wanted to n** her and give her a piece of his mind, but in front of all the family just wasn't the right moment. He just gave a sigh and shook his head.It was her,why was she here so early."Why are you here early?" Evan gave her agitated look. "What did he tell you?" He wasn't sure if what the stallion had told her was all great and dandy. Quite worried in his mind he looked at the mare."Sheria,I see. I probably wont be what you're looking for,Maybe what he told you was one huge lie." Evan didn't want her to come so early,he wasn't emotionally prepared for her to come. It made him extremely anxious and nervous about her coming near his home.

Sheria flinched as he gave her an annoyed glance, his glowing blue orbs fierce and full of intensity. It was clear he didn't want her here but what gave him the right to be so annoyed at her coming unannounced? She had no say in this, this was something he had agreed on before she was even born! She frowned, eyes peeling away from him and wandering off to the side. Sulking like a scolded child. "I couldn't wait any longer." She muttered, glancing over the family of mutants. She grit her teeth at the last thing he spoke and turned a troubled look his way. "Maybe it is a lie! What do I care? I didn't ask for this, just like you didn't ask for me to come today. What difference does it make?" She snorted. "I'm here. You got what you wanted and if you must know, if it wasn't for my brother saying how kind, how brave and how loyal you was I wouldn't of had any interest in seeking you out at all. Id of run, far away from here. Far away from you..." She was starting to feel very insecure. What was it? Wasn't she good enough or something?

Here she went, blabbing on and complaining about how she was forced to be his mate. Giving a huge sigh he looked down around the ground and then back to her. Why was she staring at his family like that. "You didn't have to come here, and you didn't have to see me.You could easily escape from this whole trouble and go off."He simply said to her and he tapped his back hoof. She was being somewhat of a bother to him. "I guess you'll find out of he was telling the truth." Evan followed her slightly. "I see. Let's go somewhere else, there is more privacy instead of having everyone staring at us." Turning away from her he king of gave a tug to her braid. He wanted to give her a moment to think instead of blurting out a whole bunch of bizarre junk in front of his family.

Sheria wasn't expecting that to be his reaction at all. On first impressions he was rather strange and couldn't care less whether she was here or not, the more he spoke. Did he have any passion in him? Or was the baby making process going to be as dull as their relationship? "Well that's just great." She sighed, looking out the corners of her eyes at him when he tugged her braid. "You would of only come looking for me if I had." She didn't know why she hadn't turned back yet but she was compelled to follow him. Possibly it was because part of her felt safe in this makeshift paradise, in the hands of others and not her mother. "Fine, have it your way." She made her way after him, wondering where he was taking her.

Evan tossed his mane again as they walked. "Maybe I would've eventually. I'm sure you would come to find me. I was only going to send others to get you so they could provide for your safety. "He was only being honest. Evan didn't want anything to happen to her on her journey here. "Do you really want them to sneak in and try to figure out what we're talking?"He said to her and gave a huge sigh. "I just want to give you a chance to explain yourself for coming early in private rather than letting everyone in the whole place know your life story. For goodness sake..." He snorted and rolled his blue eyes.

Sheria gave him a swift nudge with her front hoof to the side of his front leg and watched as his hair flipped back behind him with regretful admiration. "Hey, why don't you cool it! I get it ok. Geez." She shook her head, that frown finding it's way to her lips again. He wasn't nearly as fun as she was hoping he would be. He was grumpy, like an old man. "Thank you for your concern but I can handle myself but your right, how would you of known that." Not that she was going to mention the skinwalker incident as a foal to him. If that had of happened any differently he wouldnt have a mate. "I have to explain myself? You have no idea about being spontaneous at all, do you?"

He snapped back at her and pinned his ears. "Just trying to be nice.." Evan was getting quite agitated by this female, why would they choose her to be his mate? They clearly weren't going to be wonderfully happy together. "Exactly, I don't even know you.I was simply concerned. I don't want my mate to be killed you know?" Did he really just say something like that? That really didn't seem like him. He gave a another large sigh. "I just want to know why in your right mind would you come here so early without giving me a notice?" He shook his head. "I do,but I am not like that very often. Does that make you discouraged?"

Sheria stopped in her tracks, ears falling back. One front leg raised, pausing mid step as she eyed him, carefully. For a few moments her tongue was caught, rolled to the back of her throat and the words she could of thrown at him were set in hiding. She was a little discouraged, not by learning that he wasn't spontaneous all that often, that she didn't care all too much about but the fact he was clearly not happy with her and hadn't been since she had arrived. "What do you expect me to do?" She asked softly, placing her hoof on the ground once more and lowering her head to peer at him from under her brown bangs. "I just wanted to meet you. To see who you were. I didn't know who you was because Ive never met you, only heard stories. My mother is an enemy of your herd, sure she could of come in secret but I didn't want her to know because... " She didn't really want to explain that part, just yet. "I'm sorry ok. Am I not enough for you?" Still, her voice remained quiet as to not upset the stallion further.

He raised his ears back up and turned towards her. Evan was pleased that she had shown up,but maybe it just wasn't the right time for her to. "Nothing," He simply said and looked at her in the eye. Evan stayed quiet as he listened to her,he raised his head and waited. He felt a little bad for the way he had been acting, but thats just how he was."I am glad you came.I have been waiting to meet you as well.Just this moment in time probably wasn't the best Sheria." Evan gave a slight nudge to her face and moved back looking around them."Don't worry about it,you're here now. You are good enough for me.But I am just probably not fit for your standards." Evan stood there with the mare making eye contact.
