Left in the mail box is a flier.
"To the guardian(s) of Derek Dauphine, Grade 5, and Diana Dauphine, Grade 10th.
The schoolhouse has come under new management and, with it, a new name. To celebrate this, we will be holding a festival on Fall 1st. I hope you can come and join us, please, it would be nice if you could do it. You can meet your child's teacher, Mr. Tamaki and Mr. Pearson, and even some of the other staff! If you want to, that is, please don't force yourself if you can't make it. We understand, even if I think your child would benefit a lot more if you decided to come with them and spend this quality time. Children need a lot of quality time to be happy.
Please come and volunteer if you want to.
Yoakim Jr. Waldroup Principal of Little Red Hen Schoolhouse"

Next waaas~ Oh, Derek Dauphine! He was new to town, right? But he had also played at the playground and Daffodil love-love-loved it when children played at the playground! She didn't know him that well, but she hoped he would enjoy his present anyway, and come to play at the playground more and more! Maybe even she could play with him -- oh, no, she knew that wasn't allowed, don't worry! Daffodil zoomed through the Dauphine house, doing loop-de-loops as she soared up to Derek's room. At the foot of his bed she left a box wrapped in rainbow, sparkly wrapping paper -- he'd probably be finding glitter in on his clothes for the next season or two. The box contained a super cool puzzle of a sailboat on a pretty blue sea. Maybe if he used his imagination, he could pretend that he was sailing on that sailboat! Oh, how fun! With a content smile, Daffodil went off zooming to the next house~

Iris had finally gotten to the next follower – a.. Diana Dauphine? Iris didn't know very much on this one, but she had managed to figure out a few things! The girl was an artist, though what kind, Iris had trouble figuring out. The only time she had even seen the girl go out was to the playground, she believed, which was lovely to see her enjoying herself around her siblings, but.. It didn't exactly give her much insight on the girl outside of that! She really wished she could have seen Diana out more – perhaps with another artistic fellow or maybe even drawing the beautiful scenery around the island – that is, if she wanted to! Iris knew very well inspiration couldn't be forced! She decided to give the newcomer the benefit of a doubt as she went inside the girl's room, finding her nightstand so she could leave a sweet treat to welcome her to the island! A melon-flavored ice pop, promised not to melt until the girl first unwrapped it~ She was going to try to spice it up a little, perhaps provide a bit of inspiration to the girl, but then her brother had appeared the very next moment!
Ilex had his next follower within that same home and, boy, was he soooo happy to come in to see his fellow fairy, bent over and fiddling with a popsicle~ He giggled wildly to himself, which, unfortunately, gave him away. Iris had popped back up and given him a long look before shaking her head and fluttering away without a word. Oh, no, he hoped he hadn't upset her! Ilex was about to chase after her and apologize, but then he had a Victor Dauphine to gift before the night was over! He let out a soft sigh, deciding he would have to give the older ice fairy an apology later! In the mean time, he went to go see poor Victor in his room, still sleeping soundly, it seemed! He didn't know much about Victor at all, but he did know that the man really needed to go out more and make friends! Maybe even meet a pretty new wife and have a bundle of children that would all grow up to be Ilex's new best friends forever and ahhh, he wished that could happen! But, first, he had to welcome Victor with open arms! To do that, he left one of the pretty rocks from his mine in the mountain for the man to wake up to, all polished to smooth, shimmery perfection! It wasn't worth any money, but Ilex was sure a pretty stone was worth enough in happiness~ Happy with his work, he left to go on with his night!
