Since a lot of people are talking about it already, I figure I might as well clear the air now.
There are several reasons why CWA went inactive, and I could toss a lot of blame at a lot of people, or throw a huge bitchfit about activity and that kind of thing, but the fact is, I didn't have as much time as I would have liked to invest into maintaining my guild. I'm taking full responsibility for it, because frankly, its my project and it only seems fair that I take full care of it.
Now as I said, there were several factors that went into it going inactive, a majority of it being personal on my end (and I'd rather not get into it), and an overall thin spread of activity across the board from several guilds. As mine was the newest of the bunch, it flickered out quick.
Now bear in mind, I'm not giving up on CWA. When I have more time to devote to it, I will reopen the guild. However, when I do reopen it, I will also be starting fresh; I won't erase title histories, so don't worry about that.
For the time being, CWA will now be a special exhibition guild, devoted strictly to development or just having mock matches for the hell of it. I may even run a tournament over the course of the summer, if people are interested in that.
So, to summarize:
-I take full responsibility for the inactivity in CWA, and its closing.
-CWA will come back, starting with a clean slate (not including title history).
-For now, CWA is a special exhibition guild.

We all know the real reason CWA closed is because Three and Arson cost the promotion a fortune in damages, it's okay.

MrTNT: My contract includes a disclaimer stating I can not he held responsible for any damages to, CWA property, staff, merchandise, or intellectual properties. Any fault to be had in that match rests fully on Arson's pitiful shoulders. #underthebus

Weird Fox I look forward to its reopening. And I take it that the titles will be lifted from their holders? Haven't quite decided on that yet; more than likely the current title holders will be temp holders once the reboot happens, and we'll set up a tourney for the Olympian. As for the Myrmidon and Gladiator, I'm not sure.

How is an Indy fed going to survive when two people did well over $500,000 in damages in a single match. Hell if it didn't close for a while after what me and Three did, then I would have lost all faith in humanity. I have no problem closing the doors again if they ever re-open xD Three is gonna get his...that bed of nails was not as comfortable as he said it was gonna be. rofl

Oh no what will happen now? Jed won "The Golden Fleece" from Jacob Griffin "curing" Jed of the "Griffin's Curse". However Jacob Griffin stole the Fleece back after the match. What will happen now that Griffin stole the Fleece? What will Jed do? Why is a greek myth being mention in a guild full of Gladiators? Will we ever see Jed become Jason of the Argonauts( because of the Griffin's curse) and do a series of video's on a boat in search for Jacob Griffin and "The Golden Fleece"!?!?!?!?
