HereA loud roar echoed through the study. Erionda's eyes shot up from her book as she glanced down at her side. Lanzecki was usually with her, but had left earlier to travel the sands outside. Unlike herself, both Drakein were able to tolerate the early spring weather. Leaving rise to wonder how she would ever survive the worst of the summer out in the sands. She would probably have to work and find her way to a home on Aiskal if she wanted to survive.
Lanzecki. Erionda thought pushing herself up from the table. Scattering papers and scrolls about. The chair behind her knocked backwards in Erionda haste.
Pushing herself faster, driven by an urgency that stemmed from an unspoken fear, a nameless dread, Erionda pushed out of the house to sail over the sand as she scanned the horizon for any traces of the tiny currious Keinling. Something in the sand between her and the oasis... something that had felt to her like a subtle warning... When she looked at Lanzecki in the desolate bond, she'd felt a definite fear, as though something was coming for him. It was that fear that had convinced her to call out to Lanzecki, and Uassae. So that she could search for some answers as to what, exactly, had happened, and that search... She sighed again. It all led back to the skeletons. The very ones she had killed with Jun a few days ago.
The same day Kilian had arrived with Amadia. Lanzecki had acted weird around the Oblivionite's bonded. Though Erionda hadn't put much focus into her Keinlings actions. Was he possibly so upset that their training had been completely interrupted and she hadn't bothered to pick it up again?
She sighed as she picked up speed. Why the hell else would he leave her with so much on his mind and attempt to shut her out of the bond.
