Sebastian was a whirlwind as he set things up. This napkin here, these spoons with these forks, not the white plates, the black ones. He wanted everything to be perfect. And Arri, despite the fact that he'd been trying to put a stop to this idea from the start, had absolutely no control over this situation. His newly hatched son was running all over him, demanding and conniving things out of him that he was pretty sure he'd said no to when he'd agreed to raise this child... erm... teenager. Regardless, he was still sitting here helping set up a party that might very well bring this entire house down on his head. Not that he minded that, exactly.... A house party was the least offensive thing he probably could have been agreeing to. At least Sebastian wasn't old enough - or experienced enough - to have anything untoward in mind.
"Hurry father!" Sebastian called, tying a black balloon to one of the banisters of the place to match the rest. "They will be here soon!"
Arri paused, and sighed. "Seb, you realize that going into a place, dropping off flyers, and waiting isn't really going to get you many guests, right? You should have at least said hi to people..."
Sebastian shook his head. "I had to get ready. This party is going to be huge!"
"... If anyone shows up." Arri muttered beneath his breath, setting out a black-and-white candle set on the dining table, along with a couple of appetizers like black-and-white ham and cheese curls, black-and-white chocolate-covered strawberries, Oreos, chess-pie..... anything with a black-and-white theme, pretty much.

"Seriously Auden you know how to dress yourself," Victoria mumbled as she undid her son's shirt and buttoned it back up correctly. "If you want to get it right the first time, remember to button from bottom to top."
"I don't understand why I have to wear a shirt to begin with," he muttered.
"Because it's proper," Alison giggled. "Just like we have to wear pants, skirts, shorts, or something on our bottom half when we have legs." She ran her hands over her skirt trying to smooth out nonexistent wrinkles.
"I'm sure we'd all like to run around with less to none but as your sister said it isn't proper. Every occasion has its own attire. For example, if you go to the swimming pool you wear a swimsuit."
"No, I'd wear a tail and nothing at all." Auden smirked.
Victoria rolled her eyes, "Okay so I gave a bad example but I'm sure you got the point."
Alison nudged her brother, "Just nod your head brother before she turns any redder." She could tell that her mother was not too happy right about now and the last thing she wanted was to have to go home.
Auden did as instructed by his sister and nodded his head.
Victoria took a deep breath and smiled. "Please remember to not fight over any of the food. I'm sure there is plenty of it."
After getting a 'yes mom' from the two of them, she knocked on the door.

The man who answered the door.... wasn't, really. He looked about eighteen, rather harried, and maybe just a little tired. He had a black suit on, with white pants, black shoes, and white accessories. No tie. His hair was black, and streaked through with rainbow colors at intervals. His right eye was red, but his left eye was pinkish, and there was the faint tracing of a scar over it. Regardless of how he looked, he beamed a smile at the trio at the door, bowing a bit, and extending a hand inward.
"Welcome. I take it you found the flyer at the main building? My name is Arrikanez, and.... Sebastian is preening, I believe. He's going to be thrilled someone actually showed up."
He laughed gently, and stepped aside to let the three in.
"There are refreshments inside the first room on that table. Dinner won't be for a while, as it's still cooking, annnd... our party entertainment will be arriving shortly. Honestly, you're a bit early."

Victoria was anything but ordinary. She wouldn't reveal her age to anyone but she looked to be about 18, maybe 20. From what the eye could see there was ivy that climbed her skin and eyes that didn't match. She smiled and with a hand on her chest she bowed. She almost always fell out of her top no matter how tight the corset. "Afternoon and yes we found the flyer."
Her children politely chimed in after her.
"Thank you for the invitation," Victoria motioned for her children to step inside. "I'm Victoria and this is Auden and Alison."
Auden and Alison neither use to a pair of legs did there best to walk normally. Aside from various objects along the way they used one another for support.
"I'm so never doing this again," Alison whispered to her brother as she lost her footing and caught herself on the nearest table. She was referencing the use of legs and not the party.
Auden did his best not to laugh because he knew that his sister went down then so would he. But still it was funny. "Let's just get to a chair."
"I hope the chairs are somewhere near Sebastian. I would hate to be a bad guest." Alison frowned.
"It isn't like we've got bugs," Auden mumbled.
Victoria looked from her children to Arrikanez still at the door and smiled. "My apologizes. They're still learning."

"Please, please! Come in! There are chairs in the dining room or the sitting room. The dining room's to your left, past the white pillar. The sitting room's to your right, just through that archway." Arri said, waiting until they came inside to shut the door. "I have personally prepared special party favors for you, but that can wait until later...."
He paused, and stopped talking, as though he were listening to something they couldn't hear. "Sebastian is in the sitting room. I believe he's on the ottoman inside." he smiled, and motioned for the children to continue into the sitting room.
"I'll bring out some snacks so the kids don't have to walk. If they want to shift back into whatever they're used to, and you're alright with it, so am I. Sebastian is the one that dictated this be formal, not I. We're rather used to... the odd and unusual around here. Embrace it even."

Alison went wide eyed at the opportunity to loose the legs. "Is there a powder room?" She wasn't about to just wiggle out of her skirt in front of a couple of boys. Also she didn't want to tear her skirt- it was one of her favorites.
Auden practically fell into the offered chair. He was too exhausted to stand. He was thankful that the man had made the offer- because he knew he wouldn't be able to focus for too much longer. He peered around the room until he spotted Sebastian. "Afternoon Sebastian."
Alison blushed as she realized that she had completely ignored who they had come to see. "My apologies. Afternoon Sebastian." She smiled.
"Thank you for going out of your way. Once Alison gets comfortable she won't have any issues. She floats. It's her brother." Victoria hoped that Arrikanez really did embrace the unusual like he said he did. It was not everyday you met fish tailed teens.

Tokala arrived at the house wearing a short kimono that was black with white flowers and white leggings. She would have gotten a traditional long Kimono, but she didn’t have time to find one and get it tailored so she could put her tails through it. She had only found the fliers for the party not to long before said party was supposed to star, so short kimono and leggings it was. The teen knocked on the door and waited for it to open before asking if this was where the party was.

Arrikanez finished making the other children comfortable before he went to open the door for the other person that knocked. As he looked out at her, he smiled, and opened the door wide.
"Yes, this is the party. You're welcome to come in, and sit wherever you'd like! Please, don't be alarmed at the.. erm... lack of decorations."
He blushed lightly. "Sebastian planned this whole thing himself, and I wasn't exactly one-hundred percent prepared for it."
As he backed up to let her through, he gestured to the tables. "All sorts of snacks for you, whatever you like. If you don't see anything there that tickles your fancy, I can always whip something up in the kitchen that might be more to your liking... Just let me know. Sebastian is in the sitting room with the other two guests..."
Sebastian, meanwhile, was playing perfect host. He rose from his position, and bowed to the both of them, wide grin panning across his features.
"Welcome! Welcome to my home. Please, make yourselves comfortable. And Alison? There is a powder room just adjacent to the stairwell. On the right. It should have everything you need. Would you like me to walk you there?"

"I've got this," Alison said as she took a couple of wobbly steps forward towards the powder room.
Auden watched as his sister left. Another person in caught his eye. He wondered if anyone else would show up or if it would remain just the handful of them. He felt a bit out of place without his sister at his side.

Tokala bowed slightly with a smiled as she walked into the house. “Don’t worry about it, It’s the people that make the party not the decorations.” She replied to Arrikanez’s comment about the decorating. She grabbed a chocolate coated strawberry as she walked by the table. She ate it before entering the Sitting room as she wasn’t sure if they were allowed to eat out there. She sat on one of the couches and wrapped her extremely fluffy tails around her, one on each side and curling up on her lap. “Nice to meet you guys, I’m Tokala.”

Sebastian opened his arms to his guests, and greeted them - again - properly. He was beaming. This wasn't as many people as he'd like, but it would definitely do to start!
"Welcome, welcome. I am Sebastian - and my caretaker is Arrikanez. Don't mind him, he's a bit shy." the boy chuckled. "At any rate, it is wonderful to see you. Once we have all our guests back, we can begin the games! I have some basic party games planned, and we are expecting a WONDERFUL dinner."
Arri groaned a bit, and leaned on one of the walls. Seb was a handful at best... a terror at worst. The kid didn't like to NOT get his own way. Problem was - Arri had a very difficult time saying "No".
"I believe first, we should attempt to get to know each other a little better. SO. What is everyone's favorite color, type of music, and food?"
Sebastian seemed completely oblivious to his caretaker's... exhaustion. He continued on like he'd heard nothing at all.
"I think... You. Auden was it? Go ahead and begin."
