Do you like playing video games where you create your own character or play as the original character that the game provides? Or do you like to play both? I don't think I have seen anyone discuss this on Gaia, only on youtube lol so I am curious as to what are others thoughts on this. Personally I like to play both, but I guess being able to create your own character more so lol.

When it comes to consoles, Playing as the main protagonist (Mario, Link, etc) is fine by me, but I like to be a little nontraditional at times. This is when I turn to MMO's. I don't really know many console titles where you can customize a character.

I don't think I have any particular preference to either, as long as the character and mine 'mesh', it'll be fine. Very few games or MMO offers as much customization as the Sims franchise.

Bao Sanniang I kind of prefer being able to make my own. Same here and having to make decisions that can change the outcome of the story like Dragon Age: Origins. Do you know of any other games where you can create your own character?

I love, love, love playing games where you can create your own character. It's my favorite part. But then I tend to get distracted and just keep remaking characters.
I actually play the games when they give me a character, because then I'm less likely to get distracted.
