This thread will be for our guild family characters. As more and more details are fleshed out, these will slowly get filled out. Using; http://www.angelfire.com/rpg2/vortexshadow/drownames.html to figure out names and http://www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htm for rolling dice. Just imagine, our Drow father in front there with our pregnant druid, who is holding her staff in one hand (with the bat hanging off near the top), belly in the other. The vampire son would be off to the right there with his sister, perhaps holding her at arms reach while she is in anthro form trying to bite him (while the wolf puppies dance around their legs trying to help bite him). The dullahan would be standing in front of his black carriage (w/ horses). And the uncle could be on top of the carriage, yelling at the sky or in the window tinkering.  Other Ideas!Meyaira Firespring I think it'd be fun to role play out the scene where after the vampire (who I've temporarily named Opheera) is defeated and out of the picture, the glacier finally gets broken and our ice queen gets released. Considering the glacier is named Triste's Glacier, why not name her Triste? I believe it means sadness, so there goes a little hook for us to make into her character story/background. There must be some reason she, along with her unborn baby, is sealed in that magical glacier. Opheera Short Bio:Appearance:About: A mysterious and hauntingly beautiful woman, Opheera is the vampire responsible for turning one of the Drow who had taken up residence in Springfog's secluded mansion. No one knows where she came from or just how old she is but her features appear those of person from a foreign land. Name: Triste Short Bio:Appearance:About: A queen of ice locked deep within the heart of her own magical creation. The glacier sealed away Triste's sadness along with all of her secrets. Her tears still flow in the form of the waterfall that comes out further down the hills.

Name: Neerdra De'urden (maiden name remains unknown) Neerdra translates into root-lover, De'urden meaning Champions of the darkness. Age: 151 Race: Elf Gender: Female Significant Other: Izzdrin (Drow Rogue/Assassin) Role: Wife to Izzdrin; Mother to Altondril, Nadzt, and soon to be born, Merzen. Currently expecting their third child and is 14 months pregnant (out of 24). Numbers figured out via the D&D Book of Erotic Fantasy pg 24 and 49 Personality: Biography: Learned the ways of forest from a young age. Was master of druidic arts for handful of years before her fall. As the favor of the forest left her in favor of another, she turned on it in a fit of rage, using her knowledge of nature to corrupt it and help Izzdrin on his mission to invade and kill an elvish noble. Appearance: A). Hair/Eyes: Black/Green B). Body Type: Very Pregnant C). Clothing: Confined to loose fitting robes due to her (huge) pregnancy. Also due to her training as a druid, Neerdra dislikes metal and tries to avoid wearing anything using or made of it. D). Extra sad Such at tattoos, scars, piercings, etc.) Due to her lack of exposure to sunlight, Neerda's skin color has lost a great deal of its normal fleshy pink color and most resembles the skin of her undead son.  Extra: Animal companion is a large fruit bat named Nightwing, who tends to hang from his perch near to the top of Neerdra's staff.

Name: Baleth Teken'rret Baleth means fire obsessed and Teken'rret translates as Delvers in the void. Age: 168 Race: Drow Gender: Male Significant Other: N/A Role: Uncle, Izzdrin's older brother. Training: Sorcerer specializing in fire magic but recently began dabbling in Necromancy with the aid of some magic trinkets he'd mysteriously acquired. Personality: Crazy and a bit unhinged at times but fairly happy go lucky otherwise. Biography: Forced to flee town after a spell of his caused a terrible accident leaving hundreds dead, Baleth was taken in by his younger brother Izzdrin, whom lived on the surface with his elvish wife and two, soon to be three, children. While his brother was away on a mission, Baleth got the bright idea of experimenting on his pregnant wife while she slept. This of course did not go well for himself or Neerdra. Baleth's spells caused the baby to grow and mutant in the womb (although the results will not be discovered until the baby is born). Eleven months later upon seeing his mutated newborn, Izzdrin knows who is to blame and after a brief scuffle subdues Baleth. Although Neerdra demands blood for what hes done to their child, Izzdrin refuses to kill his brother and instead cuts off his left hand. Being a spellcaster, this punishment sets Baleth back a great deal until he is able to craft himself another made of (jade, metal, crystal?). However upon discovering Baleth's loophole around his punishment, Neerdra curses his new hand causing it to randomly act of its on accord. Appearance: A). Hair/Eyes: White/Red B). Body Type: C). Clothing: D). Extra: Is missing his entire right ear (and later his left hand, but that gets replaced with a fake one).  Extra: Has giant spider(s) for pets.  Spiders:Name(s): Eye, Ear, and Arm. Biography: Each spider's name relates to something about it. For example, the spider named Eye is blind in two of its eight eyes. Arm, on the other hand (lawls that was a bad pun), is missing his second leg on the left side. And Ear... well it has Baleth's missing right ear grafted onto its head. Nobody is sure how, but the ear attached to Ear still works like normal ear. However rather than the spider hearing it, Baleth does.

Name: Altondril (pronuced Alt-on-dril) (probably Alt for short) De'urden Altondril means powerful warrior, De'urden meaning Champions of the darkness. Age: 45 (acts 16-18 by human years) Race: Elf/Drow before turned vampire. Gender: Male Significant Other: N/A Role: Eldest Son of Izzdrin and Neerdra Personality: Polar opposite of his father, Altondril is hot-headed and quick to anger. Enjoys rushing headlong into dangerous situations without care. Natural-born swordsman. Biography: With his sister, Nadzt, being a werewolf, shes turns on nights of a full moon regardless of her state of mind, becoming a more feral and less rational type werewolf. Their parents (Izzdrin and Neerdra) don't want her in the house during such a transformation so he has been tasked with taking her out and keeping an eye on her during full moon. Being nocturnal already its not a big deal and Nadzt won't bite him because feral or not she can sense what he really is (heightened senses as a werewolf and all that). In exchange for doing this his mother, Neerda, rewards him by releasing him from his fake blood diet and giving him permission to hunt for fresh blood for that one night. Being a druid, Neerdra holds a great deal of sway over him because she helps make the fake blood and it wouldn't be hard for a powerful druid to kill an undead. Appearance: A). Hair/Eyes: White/Blue B). Body Type: Well muscled and build for battle. C). Clothing: D). Extra: Two fang holes mar the flesh on the right side of his neck, revealing where he was bitten the night he was turned by a (female) vampire. Due to his new vampiric nature, Altondril's skin tone is a shade paler than a his sister and two shades paler than normal Drow.  Extra: Methods of turning;*Nectar of Death; Alt can produce a sweet nectar from a hidden gland, behind/in his fangs and kiss someone to pass it into their mouth where it absorbs instantly if it’s not swallowed. This poison can be coaxed from its glands and stored in vials to later coat weapons. If a person were injured by such a weapon (arrow, knife, throwing star, spear, sword, whatever), they begin to turn. This turning process takes about two to three days. *Black Bond; (Similar to the 'black kiss' from the Warhammer novels) If a person were to drink the blood of the vampire (willing or unwilling) the person would be turned into a vampire within two hours. Given how fast this process happens, the vampires produced by it tend to be VERY violent to start. This process creates a blood tie of sorts in between the two. In the Warhammer books this creates weird 'family' trees as you have older vampires calling their minions 'Sons-in-darkness' or 'daughters-in-darkness'.

Name: Nadzt De'urden Nadzt means cunning hunter, De'urden meaning Champions of the darkness.  Age: 13 (acts 6-8 by human years) Race: Elf/Drow with curse of lycanthropy. Gender: Female Significant Other: N/A Role: Daughter of Izzdrin and Neerdra Personality: Smart and cunning, Nadzt has a brain for combat tactics far beyond someone of her young age despite her natural curiosity. Biography: After the incident in which she contracted the lycanthropy curse, Nadzt's father Izzdrin went out, hunted down, and killed (much to his wife's protests) the wolf creature that had bitten his little girl. As the days when by a small group of wolf puppies turned up in their backyard. With some help from Neerdra, it was determined that they were the pups of the wolf that had bit Nadzt. At only a couple months old, Neerdra felt responsible for the death of their mother and took them in. They quickly became family pets but nobody connected with them quite like Nadzt, she was their favorite. Appearance: A). Hair/Eyes: White/Blue while in normal form, black and white fur while in werewolf form. B). Body Type: C). Clothing: D). Extra sad Such at tattoos, scars, piercings, etc.)   Extra: Shares bond with a small pack of (5) wolf pups, all of which only a couple months old. Due to this bond, she is expected to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a druid once she is old enough. Nobody expects Nadzt's bond with the wolf pups to go beyond that of a girl and her pets, however Nadzt has other ideas (and later becomes a Beast Master; sub-type of druid).  Wolves: Name(s): ?,?,?,?,? (Three males, two females) Biography: These wolves' mother was the wolf that bit Nadzt and gave her the werewolf curse, in a way making her and them family. The rest of the family sees them as just pets but Nadzt sees them as brothers and sisters. Due to how slow elves/drow age, Nadzt is expected see a great many of generations of wolf born by these pups.

Name: Merzen De'urden Merzen means doomed gem, De'urden meaning Champions of the darkness.Age: N/A Race: Elf/Drow (Minotuar) Mutant Gender: Male Significant Other: N/A Role: Third child, currently unborn, with another ten months to go. Personality: Biography: While Izzdrin was away on a mission, Uncle Baleth was free to experiment on Neerdra with his magic while she slept, which he did. Nobody is sure what Baleth was trying to do but these experiments caused the child to mutate while in the womb, growing in both size and bulk. Appearance: Lower body will be resemble that of a Minotaur, with hoofs, a tail, and black fur. In addition to those features, he will be born with nubs atop his head that will later become horns. His upper torso will otherwise remain like that of an elf/drow. The picture below represents the size of Neerdra's belly after Baleth's experiments. Already huge by elvish and drow standards, Izzdrin plans on keeping a careful eye on his expectant wife as she still had another ten months to carry this child. He has no qualms about stealing a midwife from town to ensure his wife's safety.  Extra:

Only name I found I thought was great so far was Shynt for the daughter. (Invisible, skilled, unseen) Incice could work for the new member of their family though.
I like Kilth and Godetlar for the family names.

Newest baby isn't gonna be coming for another ten months or so so we're not gonna bother naming him/her yet unless we have a really really good one. I made a character page for that child simply so I would have a spot to put the little story bit we came up with.
Shynt could work for the werewolf daughter as the name's meaning basically describes a predator.

How do you pronounce Shynt? Is it like the word 'shy' plus 'nt' or does the 'y' become an 'i' sound so it's like 'shint'?
I like these profiles so far. They really are coming together nicely. I like the colour and pattern of the werewolf girl's fur in her anthro form. It makes sense as she does have black skin and white hair in her more 'humanoid' form.
As for the family name, I agree with Shade on 'Kilth' but it would depend on whether all of the character names sound good with that attached.
I like Deurden and Do'iryn as Family names too.

I'm not really sure about how to say some of the names, thats why of the names I've generated, I've been sticking to some of the easier ones to read/say. Like Baleth and Neerdra. Simple to read and sound out (if needed).
And yeah, after trying to say the name myself and asking my mother her opinion, 'shint' is how we would say it. Although I keep reading it as sheet/s**t now. xD Maybe we should toss that one out...
If needed we could always say their lasts aren't names so much as a title earned.

I like the names being chosen so far.
I think Shynt also means that we can't nickname her Lu or Lulu. Although I'm not sure whether you wanted to keep that idea now. I don't find Shynt that bad, sort of like 'Flint' or 'flynt' which reminds me of the Flintstones. XD Lol.
It's not that cute but she would certainly grow into it. I think we just need to brainstorm a bit more for this one.
Hmm, I like the idea of a Family name that ties them all together though, because it seems they are going to be almost too split up if everyone has a different name. Just my thoughts, ^.^;
But it's going to be easier to figure that out once the firsts are all settled. Then we could line the names up on one side and try attaching a family name on the other and see how it all sounds?

Yeah thats what I was thinking as well, so only the Uncle and Butler are gonna have different last names and I think the ones given to them fit nicely.
Yeah, sounds like good idea. I liked the name Altondril (pronuced Alt-on-dril) for the vampire son and the new one I've added for the unborn child. What do you think of those?
