'Most trainees might have trouble finding this room, if they're that new,' Clyde thought to himself. Not that he cared if they could find the damn room. He was just told to set the thing up and give them a "warm welcome," whatever that was. On the third underground floor, they had many recreation rooms, including a room for group meetings.

The room was simply a large box. Four white walls, black carpet with cream specks. The Executive had done his best to adorn the ceiling of the room with black and red streamers. It wasn't a very festive event, he wasn't sure why they gave him the streamers. The Team Rocket themed posters on the wall were more than enough decoration for him. The white walls were plastered with various designs advertising the greatness of Team Rocket, all seeming to belong to different eras. He wasn't sure why they were there. To boost moral, he supposed. That seemed to be the point of this whole party to begin with.

Earlier in the day, Clyde had set up nondescript black folding chairs in a random fashion around the room. A circle felt too much like a support group, a line too much like an audience. Random was fine. Most would flock to the table of free food; a cheap red tablecloth protected the wooden table from chip, cookie, and pretzel crumbs. It wouldn't do much against any fruit punch spills, though.

The alizarin-haired man surveyed the room. Seemed fine. Clyde dragged a chair closer to him and sat down, arms folded across his uniform-clad chest. He spread his legs apart in a confident, but comfortable stance, and waited for someone to show up. In addition to setting up the room, he had to baby sit the newbies. And worse, give an introduction to their new lives at Team Rocket. It wasn't like he was bad at public speaking, he didn't mind it, but he had dreamt of more...interesting assignments once he was an Executive. Now here he was, throwing a welcome party.

Consider a hobby. It might take your mind off things.

A rainbow flecked hand clutched the door's frame, the owner of the limb surveying the exterior of the area as if it were the cage of a wild beast. Her lips, thin and terse, was a forced flash across her face, despite her want to feign surety of her decision. Branch out, she had told herself. Converse with others. Consider a hobby. It might take your mind off things. Mr. Councillor's words were more than mere advice. Moreover, they were like an epitaph spoken of a greater, more profound, and equally uncaring good. To her chagrin, she was actually obeying like a child, but acting on her premeditated choices took an arduous effort without someone to guide her paint-stained hands to the door knob and gingerly force her to open it. The hundred second internal conflict ended with the unconscious push of her hand to the brass mechanism. A twist, a push, and a winding creak signified the inevitable. Standing at the agape mouth of the door, framed against the fluorescent lighting of the exterior hallway, Lennyka strode in and curiously mapped out where she'd nest her skinny bum.

There was but one lone chap situated near the center of the area, his stance comfortable, but certainly something of an act. What Executive wanted to be amongst his lowly inferiors? With her dark teal plait-tails trailing behind her like intertwined vines, the trainee made a beeline aim straight towards the concession stand. The snacks were not her main reason for being there, namely it was the desire to feel comfortable amongst company after months of physically avoiding others from grief and mourning, but acceptance, for Len, at least, was likely going to take a while.

Besides, I probably come off as shallow, she reasoned, considering how her physical prowess pretty much aerated unpleasantness. I envy open people . . . A watercolor masterpiece snaked its way over to the pretzel bowl, snagged a few of the aforementioned, and returned to the bosom of its bearer. Popping a few in her mouth, she chewed precariously, finding the ceiling the most mesmerizing piece of artwork at her workplace. I really should've washed my hands better before I came here, she aimlessly thought next, loving the random crack in the corner than was almost the outline of a Psyduck. Paints are a heck to scrub out though.

Fifi cheerfully flounced into the room. Her eyes quickly settled on the snack table. Cookies! She skipped over to the tail, blonde curls bouncing. After a moment, she got herself a cup of punch and a cookie before looking around. Seeing the other female, Fifi made her way over. "Hi there! I'm Fifi!" she introduced herself, blue eyes sparkling over her happy grin.

Genesis peeked into the room, blinking curiously. It looked as if poor Clyde was saddled with the job of welcoming their influx of trainees, and she didn't envy him one bit. She wasn't much of a social person, but then again, she doubted a lot of the Rockets were. At least she could put on an act, though.

She slid into the room, giving a friendly nod towards any who looked her way. She made a direct line towards the food-laden table, but if anyone thought she was there to make conversation, it was quickly dispelled, for she made no move to initiate contact. Just because she could play the part of an amiable person didn't mean she would. Instead, she focused only on capturing the wild chip beasties and herding them into her open mouth.

Doyle had once more been roped into following Genesis around. So when she found out about the welcoming party.... well it was only natural that she dragged Doyle with her. He followed after her and walked into the room. Unlike her he made no attempt at appearing to be an amiable person and if anyone besides Clyde looked at him they were liable to get a glare in return.

He approached the table and grabbed a punch cup. He then grabbed a cookie and began to eat it. While part of it was hanging out of his mouth he was quickly shoving other cookies into his pockets. If the other trainees didn't hurry there wouldn't be any cookies left.

Psy! DUCK! Psy! DUCK! Psy! DUCK! Pssssssssyyyyyy Duuuuck!

The irritating chime of the pokemon shaped alarm clock roused the slumbering medic from her light sleep; it was early. Almost too early to actually be stumbling out of bed and dredging through her morning routine, yet Acacia found herself doing just that. Sitting up the slender built light-haired trainee licked her lips then yawned loudly as she pulled herself out of her silk sheeted bed and staggered in her dratini footsie pajamas towards the bathroom. Minutes bled into over half an hour before the light-haired medic exited fully dressed; prim and proper with her freshly washed hair gelled and styled in proper place.

Getting fully into the morning grind Acacia prepared her satchel as well as buffed and filed her well-maintained nails, she had a heavy schedule set for the day and needed to look her best, professionally perfect in every aspect including a light bit of make-up; lip gloss, power concealment, eyeliner, and a touch of pink shadow which made her crimson hued eyes sparkle and pop substantially.

Checking her watch the light-haired medic paced herself towards the third level floor of the base, there was a meeting of sorts for all trainees which sadly included her. Only a few months prior the punk-haired youth had been spending every waking hour with her nose stuffed into various medical textbooks and sullying her perfectly sculpted well-manicured hands on learning cadavers at a prestigious university yet here she was, a lowly peon starting at the very bottom of the totem pole with an evil organization oh how far she had fallen.

Peering towards the rather tucked away room that was used for conferences and other varying purposes Acacia flexed her fingertips and adjusted her uniform before suckling down a gulp of air and heading in the direction of the welcoming party.

Ring, ring, ring noisily chimed the sleek cellphone in the crisp, expertly pressed trousers that the low-ranking rookie medic wore.

“Hello---” Acacia paused for a moment as she listened to the person on the other end of the cell phone, rolling her wine red hues the overly-thin blonde leaned against the wall in the hallway, her mother had never been the sort that had decent timing. “Uh-huh? Really? No seriously? Wow mommy, that is good, uh-huh? Me? Oh you know---just relaxing---Oh yeah of course---the university is really something---super busy---this is the first time I have had a chance to---0h?” Acacia frowned as she pushed off of the wall with a slight grunt and a vex expression on her narrow face.

“No mommy it is okay, I understand, I love you, take care.” Mirthfully declared the slender woman as she slid her right hand into her pant pocket, the older woman on the other end of the phone voice softly spoke which caused Acacia to knit her eyebrows together, a sad deep frown found its way across her pale face. “Tell Daddy I said----uh---oh----sorry I have to go---bye! Love you!” With a brisk ramble of words the girl hung up the cell and slid it into her pocket before she had to listen or say more.

Dragging her thin hand across her gaunt cheeks the trainee sighed lightly as she found herself going stiff as she ambling into the decorated conference room, sighing deeply the slender boyishly framed medic dragged her left hand across her pale face then fastened on her bleach white smile, awkward.

Lennyka was taken aback by her new company. Regarding her with drawled, confused eyes, her scrutinizing settled on the fact that Fifi was referring to her, and she blinked to the bubble blue sparkle of the blonde's mirth filled expression. Swallowing her mouthful of pretzels, Len nodded her head, and poked her glasses up from nervousness.

"H-Hello," she said, nodding her head to the other. "I'm Lennyka." With it, she extended her paint flecked hand, than immediately withdrew her grip, smearing it on the front of her reddened uniform in dismay. Of course, it didn't do much, but it was enough to make the woman a bit anxious. Admitting her hand was dirtied might bring about some rueful opinions and questions . . . considering she was eating.

Clyde's glazed-over eyes snapped back to reality when a Trainee walked in. Hm. She looked familiar. He was was about to ask the girl with the dark teal hair if they knew each other, but then a small yet steady stream of people began to file in the room. Most all of them immediately went for the snacks. Fifi bounced in, and he winced slightly at the sound of her voice. Then he recognized Doyle and Genesis, giving a nodded greeting to both. Finally, another Trainee he didn't recognize sheepishly ambled into the conference room. Was that it? He mentally shrugged, this seemed as good a time to start as any. The small speech he had to give wasn't complicated, any stragglers could be filled in easily.

He stood up from his chair. "Alright guys, so this is a little welcome thing for our new Trainees, but those of other ranks can stay if they want," Clyde projected his voice loud and clear, without really yelling. It wasn't that loud in here anyway. "Trainees, the purpose of this event is to familiarize yourself with each other, and other members of your new life here at Team Rocket. I may also give you your field evaluation time and date today," He finished.

((OOC note: A field evaluation isn't required, but makes for good RP. You get a little mission, Clyde watches your character do it, and evaluates their strengths and weaknesses. If you want to RP that, have your character approach Clyde and ask for their date, or just let me know :3 ))

((Just a side note, since it seems to be common opinion, but Fifi's voice isn't actually shrill or exceptionally high pitched. It is on the soprano side, she isn't one of those people with a "husky" or "low alto" voice, but it isn't nails on chalkboard. It is very cheerful/perky/animated, which may bug the ever loving snot out of some characters, but unless she is deliberately pitching it higher and shriller (in which case I would note it as a shrill tone, or higher pitch) it is well within the normal female speaking ranges. Not a rage/upset issue, just an FYI note to you guys! wink )

Oblivious to the other girl's discomfort, Fifi grabbed her hand and shook it enthusiastically. "Nice to meet you, Lennyka!" she said with cheerful sincerity. "Oh!" she cut off whatever she might have been about to say and turned her attention to Clyde when he began speaking. When he was done, Fifi quickly excused herself and went over to the Executive, wiping her hands and dropping her empty punch cup and napkin in the trash on her way over.

"We have our field evaluations coming up already?" she asked excitedly. "When is mine? Do I need to bring anything special?" she continued, eyes sparkling.

Crimson hues upturned towards the ceiling, streamers of red and black adored the high surface in crisscross patterns. The overall aesthetics of the room lacked warmth and reminded the woman with the tapered-waist of cheap last minute parties that middle schools often held for students. For a few moments Acacia stood awkwardly as she debated placing her hands on her narrow hips or cross her arms over her chest however befuddled with her own movements the light-haired trainee rolled her eyes at herself before striding over towards the nearest seat that had been placed and sank down into the folding chair. Throwing a glance towards the redlined concession spread Acacia gave a scowl and pulled a face that denoted disgust. Communal bowls of sweets, greasy crisps, and salty pretzels weren’t exactly something that she herself would flock to yet it seemed like all of her peers were doing just that, hopefully they all had washed or sanitized their hands properly, just the thought made her gaunt face scrunch up with repulsion; at least the punch seemed to be something she could partake in.

‘Alright guys,’ casually began the man whom was obviously the supervisor of the event. The way he simply stood up and began without so much as a pause brought a tight wavering smile to the sporty-haired medic’s face; Clyde was all business and rather intimidating but the context of what he said wasn’t something that made her nervous. Once the man had finished his rather lackluster speech Acacia rose to her feet and approached the executive, for a moment she contemplated skating around the Goldilocks to address the man in charge however the medic merely came to a halt and waited her turn.

(oh woops, yeah I imagined it as high, though it's also plausible that Clyde winced cause he's annoyed that she showed up XDD)

Clyde tried to keep his business-like composure as Fifi bounded up to bother him. It wasn't that he hated her, from their last mission he knew she was a good Rocket (and confusingly intelligent?), but frankly she just annoyed him. "Uh yeah," He said, pulling a piece of folded paper from his back pocket. "Your's is after a girl called Saya...Monday at 3:45. We'll be travelling to the Grasslands, scouting for unsuspecting trainers and stealing from them," Clyde glanced up from the paper. "Just bring what you'd bring to a normal mission, regular stealth uniform and stuff,"

The Executive turned to the other Trainee who had approached him, the one he didn't recognize. "And you are?" He inquired.

Tugging a bleach white glistening smile onto her narrow, pointed features the stick of a woman directed her gregarious expression solely towards Clyde. Extending her polished well-manicured hand towards the taller gentleman the short-haired pixie of a woman eased closer to the executive so that she could make direct eye-contact with the rather fearsome man.

“Acacia Cretchfield, sir. Medic,” she worded professionally but without sounding arrogant. “Rather, aspiring medic, my qualifications are all in check.” Acacia corrected herself flawlessly while adding her credentials towards the latter of her sentence in a flowery yet reassuring manner.

Saya shuffled into the room. Not according to her own will, however. She was being guided into the room, firmly by the shoulder. She griped her knife tightly, but her hand was being held behind her back. The Rocket that was leading her, she assumed, was a higher ranked official that did not like her very much. The Rocket gave her a hard shove every time Saya did not want to move willingly.

The short girl's eyes darted around the room, making a note of where everything was and who was in the room. She recognized two; the blonde named Fifi and Doyle. Saya was cautious of everyone else in the room she didn't know.

"I believe this one is yours, Clyde." The Rocket smirked, his tone suggested he'd rather be anywhere except here. He released Saya, placing her in front of the person who Saya concluded as Clyde, and briskly left the room.

Upon her immediate release, Saya brought her knife close to her chest and glared at the Rocket's back until he was out of sight. Then, she brought her attention to the man before her, still with knife in hand. She made no other movements and said nothing.

Doyle looked up from stealing all of the cookies (really there were a few left but not many) when Clyde began talking. He nodded back at the executive and listened. Ah field evaluation time. That brought back memories to when he had his. His had taken place in Unova, just after joining Team Rocket. He had to steal something from some museum and ended up messing it up. His only saving grace was the fact that he ended up stealing something more valuable than his original target.

He allowed the trainees to speak with Clyde about their evaluation dates first and then offer to help Clyde if he wanted/needed help. He munched on a couple of cookies while he waited. As he was waiting he was slightly surprised to see another Rocket lead Saya in by force. He raised a brow and then walked over. "Now what are you getting into Saya?" He asked while Clyde was still busy talking to another trainee.

A familiar voice brought Saya's attention to him. She shifted her head ever so slightly.

"What is this... gathering?" She whispered, taking a step backwards towards the door. She didn't know what was going on and she didn't want to be here, not one bit. Not even the food was enticing to her, since she did get free food all the time now and has amassed an impressive supply in her room.
