Backstory

In our world, on Earth, it's another boring day in a regular old big city setting. So much to see but little to do. Humans go through their day without a care. Day in, day out, a different day, a different drama, and yet...nothing seems to change much. Some people enjoy the perpetual peace. Others yearn for an adventure they can never embark. Little do they know that their world is about to change drastically, whether they like it or not.

Meanwhile...

In an alternate world where animals rule, all is not well. The previous king, the Great Fox, has recently died of old age, but do to reasons unknown, no heir has been produced, nor announced. This has left a large void of power within the Animal Kingdom. Many species lay claim to the throne, citing their various gifts as evidence of eligibility. The animals were on the verge of war...That is, until a wise Owl came up with an idea.

"We shall have a contest!" he said "A battle royale between the species for the throne. winner take all!" At this the predators laughed,"It will be no contest!" they sneered. But the owl wasn't done. To ensure that the contest was fair, the animals would lend thier powers to strange creatures called Humans, who resided in an entirely different universe. The prospect of going to another world was quite the shock and discouraged many entrants, but the bravest of the brave decided to take the risk and thus traveled to the Human World to find partners who would hopefully lead them to victory.

Plot

Basically in this RP you can play from the point of view of a human, animal, or both in this struggle for power among superpowered animals. I highly suggest that if you're not playing a pair, that you come in with a friend to be your partner. For the time being, there is no way to determine a clear winner.(Mostly because I don't want to put a time limit on this RP) However, the object is to fight other pairs(including NPC pairs) build a reputation for yourself, forge alliances and plot conflicts within this conflict. This RP will begin with the animals travelling to Earth. As such the humans will start off with no idea of what is to happen.

Rules

1. Follow the Guild rules and ToS- I'd rather not get this guild, or myself banned.
2. No godmodding- Every animal has powers, but don't go overboard. No autohits/autododges.
Remember: Unless they have no viable way to dodge, your attack hasn't hit yet. And just because you have a viable dodge doesn't mean your character will always think of it.
3. No killing characters!- This is one of the guild rules but I'll reiterate. No killing! And keep the blood to a manageable level please...
4.Be literate!- I find it juvenile to base literacy off of post length. However, this does not mean you can fly with 2 sentences, nor does it mean I'm willing to read a text wall. Be sensible with your post lengths. Also no txt tlk, 133t sp33k, or smileys ( 3nodding ). BAd spelling and grammar are only allowed in dialogue. Outside that, try you best to write your best.
5.Be sensible with language! - Another guild rule. F bombs are fine, but I don't need to see "********" used 52 times in one post.
6.Pretty posts please! ^^- All I mean by this is, add a picture and some color to your posts. You have the freedom to be as fancy at you like, just don't go overboard, stretch the page, or use neon colors.
7.Be active... I understand we all have lives and different time zones but try to post at least once a week...If you're gone for more than a week without notice, your character and thier partner will be put to sleep.
8.PG 13 No cybering/animal sex/bestiality. Just no. Romance is fine and even encouraged, but keep it clean or take it somewhere else.
9 PM all profiles to me, or someone on the whitelist before RPing!- and put a ninja in your PM so we know you read the rules.
