Erm..I can give a photo of my face if it helps...Or not. Whichever you guys prefer i guess.. ❤ (Fellow UKer here!) If you want to, you can! :3 I've always been very shy, but for a long time I dressed 1950s style every day - hair, make up, big crinoline skirts, etc. My other styles have all been very OTT too. Sometimes there can be horrid comments, but usually people either don't care, or have nice things to say. The main thing is liking what you're wearing. If you feel comfortable in it, that will come across to others - even if it takes some practice!

Hello! Im in the uk and i say go for it. I used to wear petticoats everyday. negative comments where way out weighed by people taking pictures for style blogs. The uk is known for its kooky street style so go for it

If you like it, go for it. Lolita is still mainly in Japan and conventions. I've actually worn Lolita in public and people like it. I've also seen people dress in Lolita in a mall once. Then again, I'm in America, so I have no clue. I'll have to ask my friend who's from the UK.

Caimbrie ❤ ❥~ Thank you, i think i will go for it, the problem is, most loli clothing is in the UK. I've found some petticoats, and i'm buying them. But...I'm in Dewsbury - 4 hours away from London. Do you know where loli clothing is that is not in London? Or at least...Slightly closer to where i live. ❤

I design my own and my mom makes them after some argument on the style of the skirt. Either that or we search the second hand stores and modify skirts to fit me. Same with shirts, only we just have to add the lace.

People get jelly of anyone who has a popular label. ❤ Well, it's not the bad kind of jealousy. It's like "OMG, she's sooooo lucky" kind of thing. It's mostly because it tends to be expensive. I think I paid $39 for a Baby the Stars Shine Bright headband and it was on sale. It might have been less, but it's been so long that I can't remember. It was still pretty expensive. It's also my only Lolita accessory that is a brand name. Everything else is independent people made or I made. I've also bought stuff that is close to being Lolita style from stores as well, you just have to keep an eye out and know what you're looking for.

Caimbrie ❤ ❥~ I see, so it also works out cheaper. I'm working on a design to make but i can't decide on a color yet.... If only my cam worked better, i could take a photo of the design and show you. Its so far tiny lace gloves. I've got a few lace gloves myself, but their black, so they work best with dark colors. ❤
