Personality:: Arabella is an extremely withdrawn creature, and finds it hard to make friends due to how shy she is. She is never vocal, due to a trauma as an egg, and some creatures might think this as a haughty attitude. She is gentle as a feather and loves to curl up in the sun away from everyone else and watch the world.
Anything Strange:: Arabella is completely mute, which means she does not speak. Instead she is learning to use her Psychic ability to speak through brainwaves so that others can hear her.

Espeon has lilac fur, large ears with dark purple or blue ear insides and long tufts of fur below them, a red gem on its forehead and a pair of pupiless eyes with white irises and purple scleras. Espeon has four slim legs and tiny paws. Its slender tail, which is forked into two at the end, helps it to foresee possible futures. Its catlike appearance and sparkling red gem have caused some to mistake it for a relative of Persian. However, this gem merely augments its psychic powers.

::Special abilities::
Espeon has developed psychic powers due to a combination of great loyalty to its Trainer and sunlight, with several signature special abilities attributable to its fine, sensitive fur. This very fine fur, which has the look and feel of velvet, is so sensitive, that as air currents pass through it, Espeon is able to sense things such as minute shifts in the air, and predict changes in the weather or the opponent's next move. Like most fully evolved Pokémon, Espeon can learn Hyper Beam or Giga Impact. Connecting with its affinity to sunlight, it is able to learn the healing move Morning Sun.
::Behavior::
Espeon are very loyal to their Trainers and will protect them from harm. They enjoy basking in full sunlight. The tip of its forked tail quivers when it is predicting its opponent's next move.

Espeon is a combination of ESP (a branch of psychic abilities) and eon (an immeasurably long period of time, possibly referring to how long evolution takes naturally). Eon is a suffix all Eevee evolutions share and was Eevee's English prototype name.
Eifie is a combination of エスパー esupaa (ESPer, a person with psychic powers) and フィール fiiru (feel), referring to its extraordinary sensory abilities. It is very similar to Eevee, in both writing and sound (イーブイ/エーフィ).
::Trivia::
Espeon and Glaceon are the only Eeveelutions that have the same highest base stat.
Espeon is not obtainable in FireRed and LeafGreen Versions due to the lack of a time system. In order to be obtained and added to the Pokédex in these versions, an Eevee must be traded to Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Versions, evolved there, and then traded back, or else traded from Pokémon Colosseum or Pokémon XD.
Espeon shares the same species name with Sunflora and Volcarona. They are all known as the Sun Pokémon.
Espeon has the highest Special Attack of all Generation II Pokémon.
Espeon is the only Eeveelution not to have a type advantage against another.
Espeon and Umbreon are both the only starter Pokémon to be received fully evolved.
