Ok.I know I am probably wierd for noticing this, but if I don't say it soon then I'll end up blurting it out in class or during a movie. So here it is. If you have ever seen the show Nauto there is a character called Kakashi who has a red eye and well...if you've seen the show then you should know the rest.I also think both of them attack people when they get really ticked off.please reply if any of you noticed something else about the similarities and also reply if you think there are similarities between him andthe other Naruto characters.(.s,I am not a fan of Murdocs..at all!!I was just curiouson eeryones opinion about this.)

Actually, I beg to differ.
Unless Murdoc is a masked ninja who teaches students in his spare time, or Kakashi is a demonic bass player who lives in a Winnebago, I fail to find any similarities between the two.
Murdoc's motives for attacking people/creatures: -Self-defense (as attempted in the Clint Eastwood video...although in 'Demon Days' album art he is seen fleeing from the members of his old band) -Pleasure (as seen in any incident where 2D and Murdoc are together. He beats him up for fun.) -Anger (Wanna know why 2D's missing his two front teeth? Murdoc knocked 'em out cos he was angry that 2D wanted to come with him to an interview, I think.)
Kakashi's motives for attacking people: -His job/self defense: Kakashi's a ninja, and must protect the Leaf Village from any foes. He also fights to protect himself and his students when they are in a dangerous situation.
On another note, their eyes look completely different. Kakashi's eye:
 Murdoc's eye:
You can see that Murdoc's is pure red, while Kakashi's Sharingan has the swirls inside it, plus his pupil. In addition, Kakashi's Sharingan serves the purpose of helping him determine his opponent's next move. Unless there's other evidence out there, Murdoc's does nothing except look cool/demonic.
Now, if you excuse me...I'm going to move this to Character Discussion.

He might read cheap romance novels in the American dub, but in the Japanese version with subtitles it's called "Ichi Ichi Paradise," and is supposed to be hentai-rific. Very Murdoc-like.
But of course Murdoc resembles Keith Richards! Didn't Jamie Hewlett even say in an interview that Keith was his inspiration in creating Murdoc's character/design? Oh, and here's a pic of Mr. Richards for you kids to ogle:
Admittedly, it's him from when the Rolling Stones first got started. If you've seen any more recent picture of him, he looks like...well, frankly, he looks like a zombie. (Having said that, Hewlett has also drawn zombie!Murdoc, who appears in the Demon Days artbook)

In any other way, though, Murdoc and Kakashi really have nothing in common.

One person calls the kids 'students,' another translates it as 'subordinates.'
And now, may I ask, how do Japanese anime translations have anything to do with Gorillaz? (Besides the fact that Noodle is sort of a Japanese translation herself)

I allus fough' it was "Make-out Paradise". That's from Shonen Jump, tho' an they're s'possed t'have bad translations, or so I hear.
COMPLETELY random and off topic, but I saw Mirokufan's sig, an did you know that in Gravitation volume...um...3 or 4, I fink, they make some one-word reference to blur? (one character was commenting on somfing someone else said, an they was like..."Blur reference!" Assuming it's th'right Blur, anyways.) For those of you who didn't know, Blur is th'band that Damon Albarn, who sings as 2D, is in other than Gorillaz. They're awesome. Go buy their CD now.

Seriously, there's a song on that CD which appeals to anyone, from the punky Bank Holiday to the sheer randomness of Lot 105. I can't choose a favorite (or least favorite) song from Parklife!
