Family|| Her father is Anthony James Holmes, and he is human. Her mother was never present in her life, as she left three days after her and her sisters first birthday. Up until her 10th birthday, Acadia had no idea of her mothers lineage. Her older brother, Marcus, was playing by the fireplace, and tripped. When Acadia saw him falling, she reached towards him and screamed out. The fire seemed to part, and Marcus fell into the opening, completley unscathed. After that, her father had no choice but to tell her that her mother was 'gifted', and known as a very prominent Elemental.
Acadia's twin sister is Cerise Melanie Marie Holmes. Her and Acadia had been all but inseperable until Acadia was sent to school. The girls were adamant not to part, but Cerise had not shown any signs of magical talent, and could not join her as of yet.

History|| Acadia was born into a well-to-do family. Her father was the owner/operator of a rather successful cruise line, and she and her twin sister and older brother were raised aboard his most luxurious liner, the Olympic. Her father captained the ship most of the time, and the children and him had their own suite aboard the ship. Seeing as they were brought up aboard a working vessel, they were raised to be proper and well behaved. Acadia, Marcus and Cerise grew up very reserved, and were praised upon by the wealthy passengers that they came into contact with. Cerise was bubbly and outgoing, and made a perfect hostess of the ship. She loved to mingle with the crew and clients, and chatted with all. Marcus was showing the makings of a promising Captain, and was never far behind their father. Acadia was more private, and much more like their mother. She very rarely was seen about, and had come to dread the large crowds of the dining room and the galas. Rumors said that her mother had detested living aboard the ship, and left after the girls' first birthday.
Acadia has just come into her gift, and has not been mentored in it's art. Her father had tried to suppress it by not allowing her to know, but it became inevitable. Acadia remained untrained until now, as there was no formal instructors aboard her fathers ship, for obvious reasons. Acadia merely has an affinity for each element as of right now, and hasn't much idea as to how to control them. At present time, the most Acadia can do is assume her 'Elemental Form' for each affinity.
