In what can only be described as subdued, a gold and red booth sits in the gymnasium near the other craft booths. Subdued as the horsewoman behind the booth in Lan, and for her, it's less ornate then what one might expect from a noble. There are no tassels and the lanterns do not hang in more places than necessary. Not to mention, she is sitting in a simple seat and not on some plush silk cushion. It's simple. For her at least. Her table has a red with gold trim cloth over it, a pile of unopened scrolls to one side, a scroll in her front of her, brush strokes are simple and smooth as she paints small landscapes... and rather chubby dragons.
As you approach, she smiles the same way she did at Frightnight. Out to make a profit.
"Have you ever done ink painting before?" She doesn't wait for your answer. "Children in my clan sometimes attempt to color simple ink paintings while learning to master their brush strokes. We.. amuse them by letting them have rather fanciful characters that will 'play' for a time. Perhaps you might like to see how well you do?" She offers a scroll which you open up to see a blank landscape... and a tiny white fat dragon walking about. Lan smirks. "They only will last the week, but, you can color them, do as you like with them. They don't cost much even."
They will still cost you something however. A tiny table set to the side with cups of water, brushes of various sizes... napkins. Inks of assorted colors. The tiny fat dragon on the scroll rolls on it's back, looking at you, (maybe). "If you color it well, I might just reward you."

BUT HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Step One: ICly Buy a blank scroll. Step Two: Download the PSD Here Step Three: Open the folder 'extra' and toggle what you want/don't want Step Four: Open the folder 'COLORSANDSTUFF' and find the 'color me!' layer. Color this to your heart's content. Step Five: Resize to 250x260 for max fat dragon cuteness Step Six: (If you want) Show Lan your coloring skill to maybe earn some minipet or minipet silver! (Every 5 people that color and post what they colored will have 50k silver raffled between them). Everyone else gets a random mini.
HELP I CANT COLOR PSD FILES! QUOTE ME and give me markings/what you want and I can color something up for you. Or have a friend color one up for you.

ICly these little fatties play around on the scroll sort of like how the Portraits in Harry Potter are all active and stuff. This only lasts as long as Spirit Week however!

Eisheth could not miss the fellow horsemen craft booth. Especially Conquest one. The more she proceeded in Halloween, the more she was interested in Conquest background: apparently, Conquest culture and heritage had a massive influence on Halloween one (or vice versa); or at least the alchemist could have noticed a lot of common references and similarities.
A noble mare, the booth owner, was entertaining her customers with the ice-cold smile, and learnt-by-heart story about their art; Eisheth didn't really bother to listen, since it was clearly just a sales thing. Instead, she silently gave the mare 10 pumpkin seeds required, and got herself a scroll.
Well... how should she draw her own dragon then?...
Vanya had just left the sweater booth, now carrying a blue sweater in hand. She hadn't put it on yet and didn't think she ever would. She didn't even know why she'd bought it in the first place. Well.. Guilt, she guessed. Pity, too. Maybe she'd send it home for Christmas.. Though she wasn't sure she disliked anyone in her family that much.
Now she wandered down the rest of the craft booth section, curious to see what other.. treasures.. she could find. She came upon a quaint booth; quite pretty in brilliant red and gold.
"An ink painting, huh? Could be fun, I guess." Digging into her purse, she pulled out 10 silver seeds and presenting them to the woman before sitting down and picking up a brush. She got to work, tongue poking out the side of her mouth as she concentrated on making her cute little dragon beautiful.

Looking up from her scroll with a triumphant grin spread across a face covered in ink, Vanya looked over her finished piece. She was quite happy. It really was beautiful. Or, at least, what she thought was beautiful. She tried her best and that was all that counted, right? .. Right?
After she'd shown off her scroll and allowed it time to dry, she rolled it up and placed it in her bag carefully. With a nod and a smile, she gave her thanks to the woman running the stall and went off on her way.

Nessa wondering along the craft booths noticed a few other students standing at a booth. As she steps up she see's booth owner painting a little dragon. " oh how cute." She hears the lady ask something about ink paintings and then goes on to tell a story. Nessa decided to have a go at it and pulls out her 10 silver seeds and places them on booth and received her scroll.
She starts to paint the cute little dragon and before no time she finishes. " My first time every doing ink painting." With a smirk on her face and ink all over her hands she pushes the scroll over to the booth owner so she could see it. She lets it dry for a few minutes, then carefully as she could rolls it up and turns to says "thanks." and wonders off.

Louku looked around at all the stalls curiously, holding her meager purse of seeds close to her. She didn't have much so she really wanted to make them count. When she saw the little scroll dragons, however, she squeed a little inside. "Oh my these are cute!" Skipping up to the stall she handed over ten of her precious seeds and was handed a blank scroll. Wrinkling her nose, Lou shifted to where all the inks were kept and, with wide brush strokes, proceeded to make a mess with the greens, her favorite colour of the day. After splashing on some blue and adding in gold for horns and fluff she surveyed her masterpiece. "I shall call him Pookie!" The chimera stated happily before showing her work to the booth lady. "Ya like?" She was now down some silver seeds but at least she would have something nice to give to 'Aunty' when she returned home.
Sweater in hand, the tikbalang went to visit another of the event's crafts booths. What can he say, he liked working with his hands although artistic endeavors were not really his specialty. However, this was all in good fun, and it gave him an opportunity to work with ink! This gave him the nerve to purchase two scrolls and attempt his hand at a drawing one or two for certain special individuals.
"Um, would it... would it be against y'r Clan's customs'v I were to give 'em as gifts?"

Miyako was walking around when she saw a picture and people coloring. Excited, she ran to the booth to see what was going on. Oh it was coloring? She wanted to color. Miyako loved coloring. She thought she would buy a scroll, sure she had just said she was saving her money but, there was no way she could pass up the chance to color. "Can I color pwease?" She asked handing the owner of the booth 10 silver seeds.
Once she recived the scroll, she pulled out some colored pencils out of her backpack and began coloring. When she was done she smiled cheerfully and showed the booth owner her scroll.

Wandering over to the booth, Tsukiko looked down to see... moving drawings. What?! She'd never seen such a thing before. But oh my gourd, they were dragons. Dragons. Paying for a scroll, Tsukiko stared at it, trying to figure out how the Jack one was supposed to paint a moving target.
"E-excuse m-me..." Tsukiko said faintly, seeing a ghoul color her scroll successfully. "C-could you..? I'm all claws." She was hoping the ghoul would be able to help her.

Just as she was finishing up her little coloring project she heard almost a whisper asking for help. She turned to see ghoul holding her hands and showing her claws off. with a slight laugh " sure I can help you out. just give me some colors and and ideas for your little cutie."

Pulling out the scroll she had stashed in her sash, Tsukiko unrolled it and pointed a claw to each spot she described, in order. In spite of the moving target's efforts to play 'dodge-the-claw'. "I was thinking silver for the antlers, silvery-white for the fuzz on the tail and... whisker things? And a grey body with ice-blue scales. Wish I could see its eyes... When it came to describing her artistic ideas, her shyness ebbed away. Thank the stars she had something to distract her. "Or maybe painted to look like me... If it's not too much trouble, that is." She added meekly.

"well that shouldn't be to hard then." Grabbing the colors she need she started chasing the little scaled critter around the page. Every once in awhile she would look up at the ghoul and hold a brush next to her. "this is close, to that color." and start filling in a section. In no time at all Nessa held up the scroll for the ghoul to see, " how's this?" in a nervous voice.
