WELCOME TO SPIRIT WEEK!
The hallways are covered in festive-looking orange and black streamers and fake skitters, you can hear gnomes running around screaming, the sound of students cheering as they have no homework for the week, and occasionally, the lurking, smiling shadow of a very familiar school headmistress.
That's right it is SPIRIT WEEK!
As a collaborative effort to bring the cheer and well, at least the school spirit and focus back to the school, in light of all that has happened recently, the Amityville professors have decided to help host Spirit Week! Students are encouraged to wear Amityville's colours (orange and black), volunteer for student club activities, free events that will be happening all week, compete and participate in said events and overall, realize how wonderful a school Amityville really is. Three cheers for Amityville, hip-hip, hooray!
A fancy tune was also created in light of Spirit Week and school spirit: students will hear gnomes occasionally running around humming.

WELCOME TO SPIRIT WEEK!:
gaia_crown [ What is Spirit Week? ] For one whole week, student clubs, events, and school-related activities will heavily be promoted! There will be free club-related events, as well as events hosted by our staff, such as the Adopt a First Year programme, or the Craft Fair and Club Events!
- Basically you may hop into any threads in the EVENTS subforum related to Spirit Week with your student ICly to participate in school-promotion events and bring the spirit back into your school!
gaia_crown [ How do I get started? ] There are a few events to get started with! Before you jump into any orp make sure you pick up your ALLOWANCE (continue reading).
Spirit Week Gymnasium Party ORP: This is hosted generously by the school staff, the gymnasium redecorated just for the occasion with streamers, strobe lights, and cobwebs, though someone was feeling super risque so there is even spooky pink glitter ooooooh. You can hop in to interact with other students, grab a snack from the bar, dance on the dance floor and participate in a small in-game event of find the secret items. You can find this rp HERE
Spirit Week Big Brother Programme: If you are a new student to Amityville, or perhaps one that has very little clue of what is going on, you can join the Big Brother Programme! Third years are requested and wanted! You can find this rp HERE
Student Council Events: This year for Spirit Week, the Student Council is also going all out, to create amazing events all week with fabulous prizes! They have quite a few events set up, so feel free to go into any ORP, read the thread rules, and get started. Just remember that all events are RPED with OOC rolls etc. You can find their events in the events subforum!
Club Events: You may find that other clubs also are joining the school spirit! Feel free to participate in any of their thread events too for prizes! You can find their events in the events subforum!
Horsemen Craft Booth: The horsemen are selling some of their fantastic trades and crafts for a small fee! Feel free to visit their unique booths in the HORSEMEN CRAFTS FAIRE section and pick up something for your character ICly! You can find their events in the events subforum!
OOC: FREE STUDENT RAFFLE: Our Free Student Raffle is live! Go ahead and enter as you wish!
gaia_crown [ What happens if I don't have a student ] You can rp your GUEST STUDENT here! A guest student is a QUEST student that has not been enrolled yet! Simply have them start out - remember that Natural abilities and Fears are not allowed as QUEST students! Quest students can also win fabulous prizes for participating!

gaia_crown [ Allowance ] Please also see the post below! An allowance is the budgeted amount of money your character has for Spirit Week, to use in things such as the Horsemen Craft booths, or any other club/ school events that require monies (silver pumpkin seeds). These are all entirely IC and does not affect your ON SITE silver seed count. Make sure you post and UPDATE OOC YOUR ALLOWANCE TOTAL at the bottom of each post your make/ or whenever you make a transaction really. If you run out of allowance money, you can't buy the item

gaia_crown [ Spirit Week Finale ] At the end of Spirit Week, the Spirit Week Gymnasium Party will have a special guest reveal a special event! Don't miss the finale of Spirit Week!
gaia_crown [ Multiple threads/ Players ] Your character CAN be in multiple threads at once as long as you pace it out yourself timeline wise. You cannot however try for a prize with more than one character PER event thread, though you are free to RP with more than one character. Since this is SPIRIT WEEK FOR AMITYVILLE, Hunters are not allowed
