The night was coming, bringing a hazy hue of golden on the shore that only heightened its brilliance. This time was Comet's favourite time of the day, how the light graced the land gently-- a time of stolen romance as the moon took her place.
The bright buck seemed like he was part of this golden landscape, the light that touched his pelt only served to make his ornate markings seem like they were glowing much brighter. He kept that peaceful expression on his face, slowly digging his hooves into the soft sand, the waves crashing on to his legs.
Usually he preferred to be up on a high surface, watching as the stars revealed themselves to him yet this moment--he felt that it was different, that more than ever he yearned for the calmness of the quiet sea.
The wide blue waters called out to him and who was he to deny that?Prima Aria fjklasjf I hope it's okay, I was kind of half asleep in class typing this LOL. <3

It has become an almost everyday routine to watch the sunset. Taking a last few minutes to stroll across the shore before it began, to find a perfect spot.
Crystal had always shared this view with her Serenity, her otter. But she was nowhere to be found. This didn't worry her at all, since Serenity always knew where to find her. Scanning the shoreline, Crystals eyes stopped at the sight of the yellow buck. Almost as if he was glowing due to the sun and the golden landscape behind him. It was like he was part of it all. She stared; mesmerized.
She slowly approached him, not making any eye contact at all and stood by his side. "Beautiful isn't it?" was all she could manage, her voice was calm and gentle, like the sea at rest. She turned her head towards the buck, giving him a gentle smile.
Aric Val OH GOD. Sorry for taking so long... Sorry it sucks dslsdjgdsjgs. I'm so excited for these too. ;w;

Comet wasn't expecting any company but the setting sun and the whispers of the sea yet he had spotted a silhouette from afar. And immediately he was convinced that she was the epitome of the brilliant crystalline sea. She was like the gentle waves that kissed the sand, and her voice like the calm serenity of the ocean. It was an understatement that the buck was mesmerized by this newcomer, blinking at her.
Needless to say the usually articulate buck was speechless--and it was rare that one could do that to him. "My lady," he started, bowing his head at her in respectful greeting. "Beautiful, yes." His eyes never left the bright doe, watching how the wind gently swept her hair back along her shoulders.
"My name is Comet. And you--must be the princess of the sea." He smiled at her, taking a step towards her, not even noticing anything else, much less the otter that followed her.

The atmosphere had suddenly changed as soon as their eyes met. It was as if all she could see was the bright buck standing in front of her. The strong yet gentle eyes staring at her had made her dizzy, and as a reflex, she cautiously took a step back unsure of what his intentions may be. Crystal is usually very calm and collected--it was rare for her to be so nervous.
Huh? Tilting her head to the side, she gave him a questioning look. Unable to tell if the buck was only trying to humour her but his words seemed sincere. "I am sorry but no, I am not the princess of the sea..." she said with a quiet giggle. "My name is Crystal."

He kept his gaze on her, though his smile suddenly eased when she took a step back. "Please do not fear me, I do you no harm." Comet said a little more quietly, offering another bow of the head in apology if he had startled her. He was merely acting on his intuition, and everything was telling him to not let this doe out of his sight.
The golden buck returned a chuckle, her laughter ringing in his ears wonderfully. "You have a wonderful laugh, Princess Crystal." he teased, though he was partly convinced in fact she came from the gentle waves and the deep blue sea, where else?
"This must be a fated meeting," he started, looking back at the sea and the lowering sun briefly before his eyes followed her again. "Do you always enjoy the sights here?"
Sunset was quickening, the gentle darkness enveloping the two, but Comet could still see her so very clearly.

When the buck's smile disappeared, her heart sank a little. Hoping she hadn't offended him, she quickly resorted to apologizing. She had a bad habit of talking too fast when flustered. "Oh! I'm sorry... I didn't--I mean... I'mnotafraidofyou." she said in one breath, shaking her head as she spoke. Never has she felt this nervous around company.
Crystal looked up at the buck with a shy smile, her cheeks giving off a soft pinkish hue that complimented her blue and white fur all too well. She had never received such compliments before. The buck's reassuring and gentle tone had calmed her a little, but it made her heart unsteady and started pounding against her chest. "Fate?" she quickly followed his gaze and back, unable to tear her eyes away from his. "P-Perhaps." her voice just a tad bit higher pitched than normal, leaving his question unanswered. Too distracted.

He shook his head at her, a tad wide eyed at her reaction. "Well thank you, Princess Crystal." Comet offered her a reassuring smile to comfort her that he was not in any way offended or mad. Quite the opposite, he was terribly mesmerized since the moment he met her and it made his chest feel lighter than usual, a warmth in his chest that was both invigorating and calm.
The buck carefully walked towards her, bumping his nose at her neck very flighty, briefly in quiet askstance if he could come closer although he still took a step back to respect her space if she needed it. Though it was so hard for him, how could he not want to touch her!
"I believe it is fate," he chuckled softly, his eyes settled on her as hers was on him. "When the golden setting sun meets the deep blue sea--" he motioned towards the beautiful scene that bestowed itself in front of them as if it was perfectly timed. "Just like how I meet you now."

She nuzzled against his brief touch as if telling him it's okay. This need to be near him had her speechless. It was a new sensation that she did not understand completely. But her gut told her to go with the flow; like going wherever the tide takes her. Hopefully with no regrets.
Crystal closed her eyes and breathed in the cool ocean air. "Fate... Then I am glad to have the privilege to share this beautiful evening with you." she whispered, slowly opening her eyes to look at the buck.
The moon shone bright, bigger than usual as if the night itself making the scene all the more romantic. As if the night itself was made for them.
Aric Val It's okay! I LOVE HIM. Plus she likes it and the setting makes her easier than usual. =o=

The golden buck smiled at her, a gentle eager--quite excited smile that she did not turn him away, taking another step towards her and touching his nose to her neck a little more longer than before.
"And of course, so am I, Princess." His voice was smooth, peaceful as he lifted his head once again to look at her. "May I accompany you on a walk? So that we may enjoy the scene--- yet I am also content to bask in your presence." The words came easily, he was sincerely captivated by her and this time of the day, looking over to the path of the shore and back to her to see if she would accept his invitation.Prima Aria Heehee good ; v ;/ he's just so into her LOL p.s did you wanna bribe for them this month orr

Crystal chuckled softly at the golden buck. He seemed quite eager, but this didn't bother her the slightest. "A walk sounds lovely." accepting the buck's invitation followed by a gentle nuzzle underneath his chin. She would be content anywhere as long as she was with the golden buck standing right before her. All the doe wanted was to be by his side, to spend every minute she could before the night ended. "But I wouldn't mind basking in your presence as well.." she teased. This really was unlike her. Not like her at all.
Aric Val I love him... really. <3333 And yes ~ all we really need to do is finish this since we have the blessing and all too. >w<)/

His heart skipped a beat every time she reciprocated his touch, and along with her sweet words-- how could he not be so smitten? He returned another nuzzle to her neck gently, sweetly before he could pull himself back again and compose himself for a moment.
"You flatter me so, my lady." Comet let out a soft chuckle. "Perhaps we shall walk, and then we shall see where this beautiful night will lead us." He had no bad intentions, his expression sincere and hopeful that she wouldn't change her mind about wanting to graciously give him some of her time.
"Crystal. Shall we?" He bowed and motioned towards the pathway, the light from the sky almost illuminating their path. Prima Aria I love her, i love them they are so cute skfdkjghjf Okay!! Yep for sure *U*!

Every touch he had given her sent shivers down her core. "I would like nothing more than that." another blush escaping her cheeks. Crystal willingly followed along beside him without a care in the world as to where they were going. Only leaving a few inches of space. She found herself incredibly attracted, unable to pull away. It was too late now anyway. If anything were to happen that night, she would gladly accept. "I shall follow your lead."
Aric Val He's such a gentleman ;o; And I'm excited to see what their babies would look like...

When she walked beside him he could not help but swell with pride and utmost affection at the doe, finding her sweet shyness so irresistible.
"Then let us enjoy the night together." He led her to walk, their hooves digging into the soft sands as the waves crashed against the shore, the music of the sea was their harmony. "Do you enjoy the sky, Crystal, my lady?" He smiled at her before turning his stare up to the darkening sky, the brilliant lights only starting to come out of their hiding place. "Mmh.." Crystal looked up at the sky as they walked. Its orange-purple hues started to fade into darkness. The stars were only starting to come out. "I do. It's another reason why I like the ocean so much. The sky feels much bigger than does at home." She turned her head slightly to look at him, the angle of the moons light made her clear blue eyes sparkle. "What brings you to the ocean? I don't think I've ever seen you around before, Comet."
Crystal had visited the ocean constantly and had only ever seen the Tide Walkers at a distance but never the bright yellow buck. If she did, she would have definitely remembered. Could this have really been a fated meeting?

"So you like the wide, openness of it all?" he smiled at her, seeing how the moonlight perfectly accented her features. Lost in the vision before he realized he was being asked a question. "Ah. I journey out often, mostly up high on the cliffs." Comet started, leading the both of them to a path leading to where he had settled a place for himself for the night. "Although if I knew I were to find one such as you here, I would have wandered much more along the sea."
He had traveled along the shores often, yet this night he decided to stay. And he knew it in every inch of himself that it was to spend time with this doe.
"Is it too bold of me to ask my princess if she would like to spend the evening with me?" The gold buck meant it sincerely--without any malice, at this point merely selfish for this female's time.Prima Aria Oh man yessss *u* oh gosh so definitely the preference for this rp is a buck LOL *U* hgnkdjgf
