{ Jamie Katherine }The Seeker Jamie leaned against the ship's railing with a bunch of white daisies in her hands. She was picking off their petals and releasing them into the wind, watching them as they twirled towards the ocean surface. They had to leave Francois behind. The daisies were for him - for his bravery and his friendship to most who occupied the ship. A small hand rested on her fore arm and a child's face smiled at her. Jamie smiled back and allowed the child to lead her to the cabin.
The cabin, unlike the night outside, was warmly lit and the crew sat cozily around a large table. They already seemed like a huge family. It warmed Jamie's heart. She took her place next to Pierre and tried to catch in on the conversation. James sat next to her. He was huge. Jamie needed to get used to this as quickly as she could. Her unrelated younger brother was ginormous. He had a gruff voice and a stubble. It bothered her endlessly and she wished she had seated herself on the other side of Pierre. If she repositioned herself now, it would seem rude. Even though James intimidated her now, he was still her friend. He seemed relaxed. In fact, everyone seemed relaxed except for her.
Get real, Jamie, she laughed to herself and tried to shrug the feeling. It stayed. In response, she presented a relaxed physique and ignored the vulnerability she experienced, squashed in between the two tall men.

James took the empty seat next to Jamie and felt her tense uncomfortably. His heart sank; perhaps she was no longer fond of him now that he was older. He shook off the feeling and listened to the captain telling her men where they would next seek port. "...and we'll make the run to Belvanue to unload these goods before setting course for here." She jabbed her finger at a peculiar map that showed other lands beyond their own. "This place is called Argyll. Legend has it that those who reside here are descendents of a race of humans called the Anglo-Saxons. The rumor also says that they are vampires, but they've found a way to become mortal at their choosing. According to the texts, when they grow weary of being immortal, want to have children, or something of that nature... they simply change. If they wish to become immortal again, they are turned by someone there. They're fierce warriors, traditional, and value honor and loyalty above all."
"Where did you get this information," her first mate asked, confused. She tossed a thick book upon the table. "One of our new passengers, Jean-Pierre du Bouvier himself," she said, gesturing to Pierre. James glanced over and saw him slip an arm around Jamie's waist. He looked at her, but she continued to observe the crew. With heavy heart, James returned to the deck of the ship and took a deep breath of salty air, savoring the freedom he had so long been denied.

~{Trinity Aurora}~ Over time, Trinity Aurora Knight has become a great solider with high honors as she was on a mission to fine a cure for Thomas. Ever since he was bitten, Trinity felt like they became distance as if they were strangers. Trinity felt like that was her fault as every time she would stay away from her or wouldn't let him touch her. As time passed on Trinity kept to herself as her appearance changed. The only good part that came out of it was her and Nadina were best friends and she knew about her and Thomas well what was there. Trinity wasn't so sure if she loved him but all she knew was that he was Nadina family so she was doing this for her.
Trinity sat in a corner as she pulled out her mother's violin and started to play a soothing melody that can be heard. It was to help cal everyone as her blue eyes became bluer as she stared out on the moon, the stars as not a day goes by that she doesn't think about her parents. Trinity lived a long life as she was already 110, since the war broke out. Trinity gracefully moved the bow on her violin.

{ Jamie Katherine }The Seeker Jamie recognized the sound immediately. She squeezed Pierre's shoulder affectionately and stood up to roam about. She followed the intoxicating melody and found at its source, a girl with the brightest blue eyes she has ever seen. The girl seemed lost in thought while playing the violin. She instantly missed hers. Looking out over the sea where the badlands used to outline the horizon, she hoped for her glass violin to be safe and unharmed. She remembered well how she got over her first heartbreak and confusion with it and didn't want to part with it just yet. It was a precious thing to have - a violin, she thought.

~{Trinity Aurora}~ Trinity kept playing her violin until finally the melody was cut to an end. She then realized she wasn't alone. "You must be the lady of the boat? Lady Jamie." Trinity stood up and gave a kind smile and gave a respectful bow. "My name is Trinity Aurora Knight, I am your escorts as well as on a mission. I am a solider." It felt odd saying that as after all she was nothing but a Minstrel that lived nearly a centuries and two decades. She sat back down as she placed her bow back on her violin and started to play another melody but this time she started to sing as it was a harmony that helped calm the people and bring graceful warm memories. As a Minstrel, they are graced with singing as well as playing and instrument but then again they can also use deadly attacks with her weapon. Finally, that harmony came to an end. "I hope the Lady is at least enjoying her time?"

James was suddenly aware he wasn't alone. A tall, pale man with long blonde hair, dressed in uniform of the Eastern Kingdom leaned against the rail next to him. James surveyed him carefully. "An esteemed runner, I see. What brings you here?"
"You know why I'm here," the man said in stern tones.
"We need that cure, soldier. I can't just hand it over to you when we find it. It's the key to resurecting an entire kingdom and saving its people."
"I've heard the tale; don't bore me," the soldier growled. James took a closer look and found fresh bite scars shining in the pale moonlight. "You're one of them." The man nodded in confirmation. "Just recently. Thomas Beaux-Borden," he said, offering his hand. They shook. "And I know who you are, James River, just as I know that young lady over there. You've made quite an impression with your escape of Ravenheart, what with triggering a revolution and the scandal of a vampire and human romance."
"Why are you here, now, telling me this?"
"You can have the antidote; I don't care about that. But I want you to change me back," Thomas said, unable to resist glancing at Trinity.
"And if I refuse?"
"Then Miss Knight dies..."

~{Trinity Aurora}~ Trinity noticed Thomas has arrived next to the young gentleman and she knew he was sparking up trouble. She was aware of the story of this young human and the vampire love and she respected it very much. She knew it was right because you can't help who you fall in love with that is why she was given a special assignment and that was to protect Lady Jamie know matter who or what it is. Even if that is Thomas because she knew he wanted the antidote at any cost. Trinity stood up as she whispered to Lady Jamie, "No matter what happens remember I am here to protect you so make sure you stay close to me at all times." She knew Thomas wouldn't do anything stupid yet.

James wasted no moment in hoisting the gentleman up by his lapels and tossing him to the sea; then, straightening the coat of his uniform, promptly turned heel and headed below decks while the Captain's crew fished the angry, young vamp from the murky depths.
If he thinks I'll be so easily bullied, he'll find himself a on the wrong end of my sword.

~{Trinity Aurora}~ Trinity shook her head as she watch the man toss Thomas into the depths of the raging ocean. She sighed as she honestly knew that he was causing more harm then good. Trinity gently took Lady's Jamie's arm as she lead her down below. "Remain at your position and do not worry about Thomas, he will be fine." She told her solider as she walked over and escorted Jamie to her room that she shared with the prince. "If you need anything please let me know. I won't travel far from you or the Prince." She gently bowed then walked over as she made sure on of the guards keep watch. Trinity walked above the deck once again as she sat in her corner watching the ocean.

{ Jamie Katherine }The Seeker Jamie wandered away from the commotion, solemnly - as if her mind wasn't aware of what was going on around her. She was tired and didn't feel like confronting anyone about inappropriate behavior and whatnot. Even though she felt some kind of authority over the rest on the ship due to her future status, she wasn't in the mood to play mom.
Who am I? She found herself wondering. Who have I become? I'm soft and squishy, but I don't feel vulnerable. It's Pierre's fault, she smiled at the thought of her future hubby. Slowly, she dreamily wandered towards the quarters assigned to her.
The moment she entered the room, the area lit up in a soft, warm glow that came from a chandelier and a few other candles in holsters placed around the room. Despite the elaborate carvings in the wood and the grand lighting, her bed existed of layered mattresses, blankets and plush pillows so that it would not weigh she ship down too much. It looked cozy.
Jamie turned to the one side of the room and found that her luggage has already been brought in. She discovered some of her favourite dresses along with other practical, yet cute and elegant clothes - including her washed Earth outfit. She got undressed and slipped into her old shirt before closing the curtains as the first rays of dawn threatened to rise over the horizon. The blankets were soft and warm, fending off the chill of the sea. She placed her hand on her chest, feeling her heartbeat that she knew would soon be gone. Where was Pierre - the one who found her beating little heart irritating at first, yet smiled as it quickened from his touch?

Pierre folded his hands upon the table. He was exhausted and agitated from arguing his case with the captain and crew. He needed the artifact, but what was in it for them? He tried to show them the value of the knowledge they would recieve, the weaponry they would learn to forge. Then, point by tedious point, they went through everything that was known about these ancient people.
As they plotted a course and discussed the matter, he was able to gauge what manner of people they were. They were all kind at heart, loyal, and he knew none of the crew would betray them. However, the other passengers were another matter entirely.
* * * Pierre stretched his muscles as he marched down the stairs from the meeting cabin toward his room. As he looked about the very large deck, he could just make out James's figure against the gloom of pre-dawn, brooding angrily and partially obscured by crates from a man who was swearing and being hauled from the sea. He was in no doubt that his hot-tempered friend had thrown the man overboard. But why?
He shook his head slowly and turned, opening his cabin door just as the sun crept over the horizon.

{ Jamie Katherine }The Seeker Yawning and stretching her limbs, Jamie struggled to shake the lethargy that was increased by the gentle rocking-motions of the ship. It was relaxing and almost vacation-like, but they were on a mission and she couldn't help but stress out a little. When she walked out on the deck, the sun was still shining. She tiptoed to the rail and let her long white hair flow in the wind. The water glistened peacefully in the setting sun. The ocean waves kept rhythm as sparkling bumps rose from it's surface. A sweet melody rose and blew the salt into her face.

Sir William Grant MacKenzie leaned against the mast, watching the crew bustle about the deck, busy with their morning duties. He spotted her across the deck, yawning and stretching. She leaned on the rail and looked out at the horizon.
William merely stood and observed. He noted their bearings; they were indeed heading in the direction of his homeland. Within a week, they would reach it's pebbled shores. But once they got there...
He forced himself to focus on the task at hand. He had to determine whether Jean-Pierre and Jamie were worthy of what they were asking. His people were depending on his mission. He was the only one for the task. At least, that's what the vision had shown them during their Gathering.
William narrowed his eyes and continued to survey Jamie closely as she wandered deeper and deeper in thought.
