Falconstar padded into the forest, the smell of greenery was soothing, but he strained his senses to for any sign of the wolves. The ShadowClan leader still wasn't used to the broad leafed forest, his home was ShadowClan's pine forests with swampy terrain.

He unsheathed his claws, stalking through the trees, away from the other cats. He hesitated at a slight rise, dropping into a crouch and slinking into the shadows at the base of a towering oak tree, his black fur blending in with the darkness.

The sent of mouse reached his flared nostrils. The tom remain completely still, holding his breath as he waited for the mouse to scurry a little closer, a seed lay on the ground, no more than a fox length away and seeing as Falconstar was downwind of the mouse, he remained undetected to his target.

Bunching his muscles, the ShadowClan leader waited until the nervous creature, which seemed to know that it was being stalked raced towards its target, the seed. Falconstar pressed low to the ground, rocking his haunches before launching off of the ground, sending a shower of leaves behind him. He landed on the mouse and with a swift bite to the back of the neck, delivered the killing blow.

His rose fully to his paws, listening once more for the rest of his patrol and the wolves. He picked up the plump mouse retreated back to the base of the towering oak tree. he dug a shallow gully and dropped the mouse in it, scraping the ground over it to come back to it later.

Featherstar listened to her warriors talk and did not like that they were shushed but decided to ignore it.Featherstar looked up or atleast tried to look up in the sky but there were trees Featherstar did not like that.She missed her home but she had to get her warriors out of there or plenty more warriors elders aprientices and even kits could have died if we would continue to fight.As every one grouped off Featherstar made a mental note to next time pick when to do a hunting patrol and with who she did not like being in unfamiliar territory especially Thunderclans where this might all just be a trap. Featherstar made sure to watch her step so no brambles got her it was ok for her aprientices and warriors to trip over them and all for thunderclan would not tease them as much but for a leader nope then windclan would be considered weak.Featherstar did not like that she could not run the worse with the brambles but she had to get over it.Taking her time she slithered inbetween small crevices and began smelling for some prey.She smelled some squirrel she was not to found of squirrel but her clan had to eat.Looking around she saw it right there eating a nut.Seeing that it was a clear path Featherstar ran after it being so close and fast the squirrel did not see it coming before she made the killing bite.Spitting the squirrell out Featherstar made a small hole and buried it like she saw other thunderclan cats do rabbits you just catch two and your done for the day but thunderclan prey is so small.looking around Featherstar saw a bird in the tree she did not know what kind but it had a orange splotch on its stomach.featherstar ran forward and jumped as high as she could almost missing it but she was able to pull it down by a feather where then she gave it a killing bite. Looking around she started to bury it when it hit her the smell of water vole.Down by the stream a few times a warrior haves brought back one or two They did not taste too bad eaither.looking around the tree it was their looking around as to what just happened it made up its mind and was gonna run when Featherstar ran and thought quick of course tripping over a root of the tree in the proccess but she successfully cought the watervole. prey was very abundent here Featherstar thought she made note although she never did like trying to conqure land if her clan is ever starving again she was sure Ivystar would not mind loaning wind clan a small peice of territory for leafbare would she? Featherstar shook the thought out of her head Ivystar was letting them stay here being greedy now was not the time especially since she still owes her a debt.Featherstar hunted a bit more and ultimatly got another water vole and a mouse.Undigging all of her Prey Featherstar decided that they would meat where they dispatched.So Featherstar sat there looking at the good amount of prey she would hunt more but she could not carry it back.

Featherstar sat there grooming her fur waiting after awhile she looked up at the sky expecting to see the clouds but it was trees she whispered."Oh starclan if you are still watching please help us."Waiting there a bit more she made a educated guess on that they foregot about the leader.featherstar picked up her prey and padded aloung back to camp wanting just to be back in windclan territory again due to her clan was always smart enough to meat back up before going back to camp.-reaches camp-
