i repeated chemistry i almost passed I had a D+ and in my school you need a C- or better to pass. But I'm okay with re-taking the class because now i can get a better grade and it will replace the bad one. So have you ever retaken a class? What class was it? And did you do better when you retook it? smile

Algebra. I hated math! I always sucked on the test and finally passed it in my senior year with a D on the exam, but in college I always passed with a B and it was the same level as high school. Maybe my teachers just sucked in high school.....

I failed one semester of English IV. I had to take a PLATO class to make up for it.
Almost didn't graduate on time because of it.. but my final paper seemed to give me the passing grade I need to let me. That was one of the most horrible few months of my life. The stress made me sick.

I'm thinking about repeating a class because I'm not satisfied with the mark/percentage I received. I guess where I'm from it's not such a big deal because there are people who get high grades and still retake it.
For example there was this girl who got 96% in pre-calculus 10? and she retook the class so she could get a higher mark.

I had to repeat a semester of gym because I didn't dress out. The semester I retook it, however, I was pregnant and didn't dress out or participate, but was given an A. I don't get it. lol

I had to take a summer class for math in grade 11. The teacher told me I would pass then she fails me with a 48 (50 is a pass, and anywhere between 45-50 it's up to the teacher to pass or fail you. Our high school took the "hurry up and get out" approach to education). I was sour as hell and the summer class was a joke. We barely covered anything we did in that class. I guess on the bright side, I passed Math 12 with a 70 something when the teacher assured me that I wouldn't. Ha ha!
